Is B.E./B.Tech at Satya Group of Institutions Worth the Investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Placement Cell: Unfortunately, the college provides fake placements, which is a major concern. Even when companies visit, most students end up leaving due to mismatch between expected roles and actual job offers.

Faculty: While some teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, others may lack talent and qualification. The teaching quality is average, and students often need to rely on external resources for learning.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, including modern classrooms, Wi-Fi, and hostel facilities.

Course Curriculum: Although the curriculum is relevant, it may not adequately equip students for the job market. Students often require additional learning outside the classroom to stay competitive.

Additional Concerns:
* Upper management behavior towards students can be unprofessional.
* Unnecessary fines are imposed on students, creating inconvenience.
* Limited access to Wi-Fi facilities without prior permission.

In conclusion, while Satya Group of Institutions has its strengths, such as good infrastructure and some knowledgeable faculty members, the poor placement record, limited teaching quality, and concerns regarding administrative practices may raise doubts about whether B.E./B.Tech programs at this institution are worth the investment.

I am an ex-student and I was the university rank holder and still I did not get a chance for campus placements because they don't even call companies.

It is a good college for students who have financial problems and want to complete their degree.
Placements: It was not a good college for the placement purpose because this college provides fake placements. However, in this college, there was a separate placement cell and placement faculty members, but they do not prepare students well for facing interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good, and there was a good college building. Classrooms were well-designed with furniture and projectors along with the camera facility and Wi-Fi. Hostel, canteen, mess and food facilities were good at this college.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were average. They all are not much talented, but some teachers were very good. They had a lot of experience and talent, and they were qualified and also knowledgeable. The course curriculum was relevant.

The management on the campus should be good. Teachers are always ready to fight.
Placements: Our college did not provide any placements. Only BPO companies were coming for placement. Most of the students leave the company after joining because they want to work as programmers and not as support executives. I think if you want such a job, then don't opt for this college.
Infrastructure: During the time of admission, the authorities will tell you that you can use the Wi-Fi of this college, but you can't use it without permission of the IT department. They misbehave with students. Don't choose this college.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are from villages. They don't know how to talk with students. The upper management will start misbehaving with you. They can also cut your internal marks. Accountant admin also charges unnecessary fine from students, and if you are not able to fill this fine, they will not give you admit card. The college needs only money.

I am dissatisfied because of false placement promises of the college.
Placements: The college does not provide placements. This year not a single company visited our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Labs are equipped with computers, and that's the biggest accomplishment as those computers don't have the required software for students to learn. So either bring your own laptop or learn from external sources. Quality of the food served in the canteen is very low.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are relatively helpful and knowledgeable. But the course curriculum will not provide you with a job. To get a job, you need to learn from external sources. Their teaching quality is average as only a few teachers actually know what they are teaching.

I enjoyed a lot in the college because of good faculty, facilities, and placements provided in 2015.
Placements: Placements for my senior batch are quite good. Around 60% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA, the lowest package was 1.2 LPA, and the average package offered was 1.8 LPA. Companies that visited the campus are Microsoft, Mahindra, IBM, etc. Roles offered to the students are general manager, developer, assistant engineer, etc. Around 75% of the students got internships. There is a placement cell, and it is useful for us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided in our college are very good. All the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, medical facilities and sports facilities are available. Labs and classrooms are well-maintained. Quality of food in the canteen is somewhat better. Hostel rooms are good. I didn't face any infrastructure related issue during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, but only a few of them have satisfactory knowledge. The teaching quality is very good. Teaching methods used are lab sessions, powerpoint presentations, etc. The student to faculty ratio is good. I got industry exposure every semester. The course curriculum is very useful for us.
Other: The annual event is held in our college. The campus crowd is high during exams and events. Campus surroundings are good. Scholarships are provided to the needy. Extracurricular activities are conducted in our college.

I'm absolutely satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college were good enough. Many companies visited our college for placements. The placement rate of our batch and our senior batch was 80%. Companies like Wipro, HCL, E-Trade Services, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra, visited the campus to offer jobs with good salary packages. International placement opportunities are also provided in Satya Group of Institutions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The college provides opportunities to play all sports. Facilities like laboratories and canteen are available. The campus environment is very good, and the campus has a lot of greenery. Hostel and gym facilities are available within the campus. It provides medical facilities in emergency cases.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly knowledgeable, experienced and skilled. Teachers are very cooperative and supportive. They provide the best study material like PPTs and notes. One can find all the courses that a student is looking for, in the college.

Satya Group of Institutions is the best college.
Placements: The placement record of the college is 100%. Multinational companies like Honeywell, Google, HCL, Onida, etc., visit the campus to offer placements. Satya Group of Institutions have earned respect. Students of all the branches got placements. The most important point is students should work hard and should have the confidence to get placed in MNCs.
Infrastructure: All the blocks in the college are provided with Wi-Fi facility. All the classrooms are good. The library has all the books related to courses, and they issue books to students. Sports and games facilities are also provided in the college. Labs have all the instruments for the students to do practicals. There is a canteen in the college. Hostel rooms are also good. I haven't faced any issues related to infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty members in Satya Group of Institutions are good. The academic staff members in SGI are from prime institutions like IITs, NITs, DTU etc. Many cources like M.Tech, B.Tech, Diploma in mechanical and civil branches are available in the college. The faculty members are good and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good.
Other: Events, fest and camps are organised for the students in the college. The crowd connectivity in the college is very good. The campus surroundings are good. Scholarships are provided to eligible students. Extracurricular activities are also conducted for the students of Satya Group of Institutions.
