* Majority of students don't participate in the placement process as they prefer to pursue higher education or focus on government exams.
* Few companies visit the college for recruitment, mostly for entry-level positions with moderate salaries (around 4-5 LPA).
* Some students have secured internships with reputed organizations, but these are not guaranteed.
* Higher education is seen as a viable alternative for career advancement.

Course Curriculum and Infrastructure:

* Course curriculum is outdated and in need of revision.
* Lab facilities are good, with modern equipment and Wi-Fi connectivity.
* Classroom infrastructure is adequate, with air-conditioned classrooms.
* Library is relatively small but well-maintained.

Campus Life and Facilities:

* Campus environment is relatively calm, with occasional events and festivals.

To see if you can get into YMCA University with a 70% in 12th grade, you must first analyze the exact admission standards for the degree you are interested in. Q:   How does the placement cell for M.Sc. at YMCA University assist students in getting placed?

A:
{Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}

Placement Cell Assistance for M.Sc Students

* Supportive Faculty: The faculty members of the M.Sc department are super supportive, always available to guide students academically, and willing to resolve any issues they may face during their studies.
* Career Guidance: Although not explicitly mentioned, the placement cell seems to offer guidance and support to help students make informed career choices after completing their M.Sc program.
* Campus Recruitment: Unfortunately, there is no mention of the placement cell organizing campus recruitment drives or facilitating internships, research projects, or other industry collaborations that could aid student placements.

Note: Based on the provided information, it appears that the focus of the M.Sc program's placement cell is more on academic support rather than direct placement assistance. However, this might not necessarily mean that students are not getting placed. Further clarification or additional information would be needed to fully understand the placement cell's role and effectiveness.

Total experience of the college average in every aspect.
Placements: There is no placement as of now in our BBA, but what provides placement for B. Tech and Master's branches. The highest package of our college is about more than 30 LPA, and the lower is around 3 LPA. The best package of our college is around 5 to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for B. Tech and master's courses are Larsen and Toubro Limited, TCS, Bajaj, Mahindra, Whirlpool, Godrej, Accenture, etc. There are no such internships available for our BBA courses here.
Infrastructure: The process of our college is below average because our classrooms don't have proper blackboards and clean walls. The furniture in our classes has also been damaged, and the labs also have old PC software. But our college library is big and has all the books related to all the courses. The hostel facilities are average here, and the quality of the food available in our canteen and mess is also not that tasty and healthy, but not that bad. It has an average quality of food.
Faculty: The teachers are very arrogant here and not helpful at all. I found only a single teacher who is new in our college and helping the students. The other teachers are not that much helpful for the students, and the teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is completely relevant, and it also makes students industry-ready. The level of semester exams in our college is not that much easy and not that much hard; the level of semester exams is moderate here.

Review of J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA.
Placements: My course is Data Science which was recently introduced. Some students have secured placements in top product companies off-campus, while others have been placed in tech companies on campus. However, many students are struggling right now. To be honest, it's a game of luck and skills. Internships in top companies are rare.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Wi-Fi is accessible everywhere but sometimes doesn't work. Hostel is only for girls right now and a boys' hostel is under construction. Girls hostel is newly constructed and has good and clean facilities. Mess food is above average.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and well-qualified for their roles. They help students in a good manner. Course curriculum is relevant and updated because it is newly introduced. But in core branches, the traditional curriculum is followed. We have end-semester exams and two class tests.
Other: I chose this course because it's in Haryana, my state, and Delhi is nearby so it's easy to attend various events and explore things. Campus is not very large so one has a good social life. There are various scholarships available.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, bad placement, bad infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 10 percent of the students were placed in local companies. The highest package is 5 LPA, the average is 2 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Top companies are not coming to college. The college and any company have not offered any internships at this college. The top roles offered are software engineer and web developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities of this college are average; no special facilities are provided by the college. Hostels are available at this college, AC or non-AC. The quality of food is not good and other facilities are below average. The mess is very bad. The canteen is not available at this college.
Faculty: Teachers are average. Teaching quality is below average. The semester exams are very difficult. Students qualifying for the semester exam are 10 percent. The course curriculum is not relevant, and students are not ready for industry-level. Labs are not good for skills learning.
Other: If you are a self-learner, you will achieve your dream job. Scholarships are available for SC and ST students.

College offers decent placements and learning, but infrastructure and curriculum need improvement.
Placements: Around 60% of students in the Information Technology course were placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Media.Net and others. Around 30% of students secured internships. Top role offered is primarily software development Engineer (SDE).
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for the Information Technology department are average, with basic labs, classrooms, and access to Wi-Fi, though some equipment needed updating. Library has sufficient resources but could benefit from more digital access. Hostel facilities are manageable but not very modern, and food in the mess and canteen is decent but lacked variety. Medical facilities are available for basic needs, and sports infrastructure supports common games but requires better maintenance.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, providing valuable guidance in both academics and practical applications. Teaching quality is above average, with a good mix of theoretical and practical learning. Course curriculum is fairly relevant, offering industry-aligned subjects and projects that prepare students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, testing both understanding and application, with a high pass percentage indicating effective teaching and support for students.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in technology and want to build a career in IT. Best parts of the course are the hands-on projects, practical learning, and helpful teachers. But, the course could improve by including more updated topics and better lab facilities. Campus has fun events and fests, and students are friendly and diverse. Surroundings are average, and connectivity to the campus is decent. Scholarships are available for those who qualify, and there are good opportunities for extracurricular activities.

My College Experience at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology (YMCA).
Placements: Decent placement for B.Tech students, but other courses have nearly zero placement. Mostly, Computer Science students get placed, but the Electrical department has below-average placements. Almost all Mechanical and Civil students get placed, but in bulk and at very low packages.
Infrastructure: The university campus is approximately 25 acres. It is centrally located in Faridabad, Haryana, providing easy access to Delhi while maintaining a peaceful campus atmosphere, with good metro connectivity. The infrastructure is equipped with well-maintained laboratories, smart classrooms, a library with extensive resources, and Wi-Fi across the campus. The university promotes physical activities with facilities for cricket, football, and other sports. Students can engage in regular tournaments. Girls' hostels are modern, while boys' hostels are under construction. Most male students live in nearby PGs and flats. Hostels have a mess, but food quality is average. Active technical, cultural, and social clubs like robotics, drama, and coding clubs are present. However, no festivals are organized, only Ethnic Day, and the campus is too small to manage the number of students studying.
Faculty: Curriculum is outdated, but facilities are good. Attendance of 75% is mandatory, which makes it very irritating and leads to a lot of time wastage. The library has almost all books. The curriculum is majorly focused on theory subjects rather than coding and skills needed for jobs. We have to manage our skills by ourselves, and teachers are lenient in checking.
Other: College doesn't provide internships; we have to find them ourselves. Also, the college doesn't give permission for internships before the 8th semester, which is very bad. We have to rely on ourselves.

It is an okay college and the location is good for correspondence courses.
Placements: A very low percentile of students from our course get placements that are too far from here in Gurgaon or such so some opt not to go. The highest package is 5 lacs, and the lowest is 3 lacs. Internships are offered to about 60% of the students. HR is the most common role offered .
Infrastructure: On average, every necessary thing is present, from labs to seminar halls and canteens but again, everything, including the library, is very average. The medical facilities are also okay; they offer to take you to the nearest Amrita hospital but you are not given attendance when something like this happens. Sports like basketball, football, badminton and sports rooms are present, including carrom, table tennis and more. It is also sufficient—nothing special.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are qualified; they are also very experienced and kind. Some are because they know how hard college life is. Yes, most of the course curriculum is relevant, about 70–75%. It includes courses like Advanced Excel, which somehow makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are provided by the university so it is pretty tough and definitely not easy. The passing percentage is 35/100, which is very low but some people still fail because, again, the exams are not easy.
Other: I chose this course because it is easier than the rest. It teaches me more in depth about business. Improvement should revolve around practical knowledge, not bookish knowledge. Events are also average tents placed in the ground near the stage. Crowding is also okay, not bad, in my opinion. Fest was horrible this year but last year was okay.

While your Class 12th board percentage is a significant factor, other aspects of your application, such as extracurricular activities, personal statements, and letters of recommendation, can also play a pivotal role. Therefore, it's essential to present a well-rounded application that showcases not only your academic achievements but also your broader skills and interests.

The campus is secure with guards and CCTV cameras, and outsiders cannot enter without permission. The college has a strict policy against ragging, and leaving the hostel premises requires authority permission. All modes of transport are available from the campus.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college appears to be mixed. Some reviewers have praised the college's computer labs, Wi-Fi facilities and library, which they describe as well-maintained and with a good collection of books. However, other reviewers have criticized the college's hostel facilities, citing a lack of clean drinking water, dirty washrooms and poor maintenance. Additionally, some reviewers have noted that the college's infra structure is not up to par, with one reviewer describing the hostel building as "old" and another mentioning a shortage of clean drinking water.
