Best college for MBA oil & gas, energy trading, power management. Not worth for business analytics.

Placements: The placements for our batch is not up to the mark, only three are placed from a batch of 30 so far. All the senior students were placed on a salary ranging from 4 LPA to 6.5 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, Spicejet, 3 SC Solutions, and many market research-based companies visited the campus for placements. Roles offered to them were a data analyst or business analyst. All the students got internships, but only 70% students got the internship through the college. The highest stipend offe...

Great place to get MBA in aviation management.

Placements: Being with UPES not has not just enriched my domain knowledge but also inculcated the very presence of professionalism. Placements of the last batch were 100% but the package was not so good. The average package last year was 4.5 LPA. The job roles offered were business development, flight analysis, airport operations management, ticketing and passenger services.

Really good infrastructure, facilities, faculty and awesome location.

Placements: Placements were decent for our batch as well as our senior batch. Almost 95% of the students in my course were placed. The highest package was of 10 lacs PA and the lowest was 3.2 lacs PA. The average package stood at 4.5 lacs PA. Companies which visited the campus mostly belonged to the market research were oil and gas companies included the ones into city gas distribution. A few of the students got overseas placements in Tanzania, Africa. However, our following year had better oil and gas-base...

A good college for gaining all the multiple aspects knowledge of logistics and supply chain .

Placements: The placement scenario is not that good for the logistics and supply chain. There are only a handful of reputed companies that recruit during the early November to mid-January period, after that all the smaller companies come to recruit the students. Nearly 95% of the batch was placed. A total of 82 students got placed out of the eligible 86 students. 20% of the placements were in domain companies, and the rest were offered sales and BDM roles. Overall, a good college with a mix of good faculty members and good placements.

Placements: Placement was good. For BBA, it was 100%. Though, companies were not that reputed ones. Highest package was 3.5 LPA and the average was of 2.5 LPA. Voice Tree technologies, Lava International, Spice Jet, Phronesis Partners, etc. were the companies. Almost all got an internship from the college, though that aspect needs to work on, it is quite strenuous for the students during that period. I hope college will look into it and work on it. I got a perfect internship opportunity. The learning was ju...

The college has the best campus, best faculty, best crowd, best facilities & being situated in a city like Dehradun just adds to it. Domain specific courses that are offered here is the reason why people come here. Moreover, the placement levels here are quite remarkable. Even though the placements are good, the high package companies coming are less. Also being situated far from the city, connectivity is an issue.

The college is located in an excellent location. It is a good brand and the course offer a lot of exposure and knowledge. Lately, it has got really expensive and has introduced a tsunami of courses. I would recommend UPES only for the people interested in the oil and gas sector. Also, the placements may not be relevant to the course or go that high when compared with other institutions.

Staff is good and is highly qualified and they had good industry exposure. We have one industrial visit also. Campus is located in the beautiful city of Dehradun. Food is good. Hostel rooms are very nice and modern.

Situated in a tranquil location, UPES is a university with good focus on academics and placements. I was third topper of my batch. I did one of their best courses. Got campus placement on day 1 and I joined with the same company since then, I always liked the weather over there. When I did my MBA the college offered very less courses (now that i have heard that the scenario has changed and UPES is offering many courses now).

Placements: My course is MBA in Operations where we handle the logistics and supply chain of a firm. A lot of students opted for the course and their placements are also very nice. They offer a maximum of 30,00,000 in a job and the companies visit the college to recruit students who are capable and have the ability to get the best possible packages.
