Placements: This specialisation has the least number of students enrolled in it, mostly from civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering backgrounds. The average strength over the years has been 15-20 students. In general, 70-75% of the total strength of the students get placements, but mostly in market research firms. Very rarely the core project management companies or major construction companies come for placements. In fact, only one major construction company named Simplex Infrastructures Ltd came for...
Placements: The placements for the students in BBA digital marketing is not at all good. They show 100% of placements, but what is the need if good companies are not coming for BBA digital marketing. At least, the companies which are coming to the college are genuine. The college is costly, as you have to pay 2 lakhs for 1 academic year, and still, the placements are not up to the mark.
Placements: The placements for our batch is not up to the mark, only three are placed from a batch of 30 so far. All the senior students were placed on a salary ranging from 4 LPA to 6.5 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, Spicejet, 3 SC Solutions, and many market research-based companies visited the campus for placements. Roles offered to them were a data analyst or business analyst. All the students got internships, but only 70% students got the internship through the college. The highest stipend offe...
Placements: Almost all the eligible candidates got placed. The placements percentage in my batch was 93%, and the good job profiles and packages were offered to all the students. Overall, the satisfactory level was high. The highest package offered was around 9 LPA plus incentives for the BBA students, and the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA. The role of logistics trainee was offered to the students.
Placements: Companies like Nestle, Gati, Kuhene and Nagel, TMIL, Novartis, FedEx, GMI, Accenture, and L.G. visit the campus for placements. The placement of the previous batch was at about 90%. The highest package was about 9 LPA, the average package was 5.5 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA by Patanjali. A major portion got the internship from the college. For e.g. in out batch of 78 students, 68 got it from the campus while the rest 10 opted for self-internships. The stipend offered by Nestle was 20 thousand...
Placements: The placements were superb. Almost 90% who opted for placements were placed with an average salary of 4.5 lpa. The roles offered were management trainee, editorial assistant, etc. Companies that visited were Flipkart, Sage Publishing, MSC, Decathlon, Maersk, Snapdeal, Amazon, etc.
Placements: The placement was appreciating at the initials levels for the senior batch around 90% of the total batch was placed at various parts of the country, like Bangalore, Noida, Dehradun and apart of it, some people were working with startup firms. The salary offered at initials were 3.5 lakh, and the highest was 5 lakh per annum. The companies which visited our college were Reliance Retail, Samarth Lifestyle Retailing, Big Bazaar, Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, etc. The roles offered to the students were s...
Placements: Being with UPES not has not just enriched my domain knowledge but also inculcated the very presence of professionalism. Placements of the last batch were 100% but the package was not so good. The average package last year was 4.5 LPA. The job roles offered were business development, flight analysis, airport operations management, ticketing and passenger services.
Placements: The placements at this college as they show are very huge. But in reality, it is just mass recruitments like any other ordinary college. Most of the students are placed in IT/ Market research companies which are already mass recruiters and there is nothing special for the fees which you are paying.
Placements: Placements are good. Good companies visit the campus. Eligible are surely placed. Companies do offer PPO even to interns. I-career services give full support to students as they put their whole efforts for placements of the students. In management, BBA sector has 100% placement records as in MBA, it is 96%. The college brings core sector companies in order to get their students placed.
Placements: The placement for my batch was really below expectations. There were no core companies. The core companies which visited were also of a startup level and not experienced. The place com was more interested in pushing students towards the general companies such as IT, Market Research and Sales firms. After spending a hefty amount, the candidates don't expect such lame returns. ROI is hardly there.
Placements: Placements were decent for our batch as well as our senior batch. Almost 95% of the students in my course were placed. The highest package was of 10 lacs PA and the lowest was 3.2 lacs PA. The average package stood at 4.5 lacs PA. Companies which visited the campus mostly belonged to the market research were oil and gas companies included the ones into city gas distribution. A few of the students got overseas placements in Tanzania, Africa. However, our following year had better oil and gas-base...
Placements: The placents of our senior batch were pretty good with most of them got placed with reputed companies like Reliance Petroleum, Global data, Total lubricants etc.About 80% of the students were placed from our oil and gas department, and the average salary package offered to students was around 5.5 to 6 lkh perannum.Students were offered the role of area sales manager, research analyst in case of consulting firms. Most of the students around 80% of them got internship from college with reputed com...
Placements: Logistics people get the placement according to their ability. The job scope is quite good for logistics students as more than half get placement, but the students want to do MBA after that so only half of them take the job so that they can have some experience before doing MBA.
Placements: The placement scenario is not that good for the logistics and supply chain. There are only a handful of reputed companies that recruit during the early November to mid-January period, after that all the smaller companies come to recruit the students. Nearly 95% of the batch was placed. A total of 82 students got placed out of the eligible 86 students. 20% of the placements were in domain companies, and the rest were offered sales and BDM roles. But, the internship scenario was quite good and eve...
Placements: Placement was good. For BBA, it was 100%. Though, companies were not that reputed ones. Highest package was 3.5 LPA and the average was of 2.5 LPA. Voice Tree technologies, Lava International, Spice Jet, Phronesis Partners, etc. were the companies. Almost all got an internship from the college, though that aspect needs to work on, it is quite strenuous for the students during that period. I hope college will look into it and work on it. I got a perfect internship opportunity. The learning was ju...
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. Hostel is very good and has all the facilities required for the living. Library and playground are good enough. Gymnasium is also there having all the equipments. There is also a fighter jet available in the campus just for the demo. Placement: Placement of the college is very good as 90% of the students gets placed at the end of the course. Major recruiters are from ecommerce, IT, Oil & gas. Faculty: Faculty is good enough to oil...
The college has the best campus, best faculty, best crowd, best facilities & being situated in a city like Dehradun just adds to it. Domain specific courses that are offered here is the reason why people come here. Moreover, the placement levels here are quite remarkable. Even though the placements are good, the high package companies coming are less. Also being situated far from the city, connectivity is an issue.
The college is located in an excellent location. It is a good brand and the course offer a lot of exposure and knowledge. Lately, it has got really expensive and has introduced a tsunami of courses. I would recommend UPES only for the people interested in the oil and gas sector. Also, the placements may not be relevant to the course or go that high when compared with other institutions.
Placements: For our seniors, they had 100% placement. But in our batch placement is 95%. The highest package is 9 LPA from LG and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. On an average package is around 4.5 LPA. Companies like Nestle, TVS Logistics, ITC, ITC Infotech, Adani Wilmar, Flipkart, Hind Terminal, etc visited our campus. Initially, most of the students joined the company as a management trainee, then after 6 months, they will be assigned to their role. We got internship from Nestle, Adani Wilmar, ITC, Britan...
