College is very good one can go for it.
Placements: This college offers 100% of placements. The highest salary package offered is 75 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7.92 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4.05 LPA. College targets famous companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Tata, etc. Also, the annual salary package of the top 10% of students is 24 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is a good Wi-Fi connection which is secured and also encrypted. There are spacious library with air conditioner having 3 floors and separate charging points on each table where the are rooms for group discussion. Coming to sports this college has more than 10 sports like cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, etc., with separate grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified helps to clear all our doubts. They have PhD degrees and are full of knowledge. Course curriculum is quite different from others which focuses on self-development. From day 1 the subjects are only related to computer science, In fact for 1st year Chemistry is removed.

A perfect blend of learning.
Placements: Our college placement percentage of students is good. Almost all students are placed in well-known companies like Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Some recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, Investors Clinic, etc.
Infrastructure: UPES Dehradun provides various facilities. The infrastructure is very good to ensure a conducive learning environment for students. The entire campus is equipped with high-speed internet and Wi-Fi facilities. There are different types of labs, like petroleum, electrical, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and good in nature. UPES prides itself on having a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty. The curriculum at UPES is designed to be highly relevant and aligned with the latest industry trends. Semester exams are designed to assess both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Other: I chose Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at UPES due to its strong academic reputation and the focus on industry-specific programs. UPES hosts a variety of vibrant events and fests throughout the year. Campus environment is lively and full of opportunities for extracurricular encouragement.

Placements: Top recruiters are accenture, here technologies. The packages this year haven't been that high but cyber security companies have come and taken good number of students. The variety of courses have also had an impact in number of placements in the campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel has 3 sharing in 1 room, food ain't that good. But it is near the campus. The washrooms are shared, which aren't clean a majority of time. There is a hostel shop that has some biscuits and other neccessities. There is a canteen that serves till late night around 10.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and guide us during the project. A minority of them aren't that helpful. We have been given various projects under various teachers. Semester exams are usually of mid range, but certain subjects have a 0 or 1 marking, addititionally we have been enrolled in subjects of other schools.

The Faculty Members and Infrastructure of UPES.
Placements: The placement of UPES is awesome, the placement rate is 95%. The highest package for B.Tech CSE is 42 Lakh per annum and the lowest is 6-8 Lakh per annum, average package is 8-10 Lakh per annum. The top companies hire students in UPES. It is the best college for engineering in Dehradun.
Infrastructure: The college is awesome, it provides free internet on campus, it provides a library which is amazing. The quality of food in the canteen and cafeteria is good. The opportunity for sports and other activities is very good for students, also it comes in state and national levels.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing, their teaching skills and knowledge are very good, they teach on smart boards with animated examples. The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable in their courses, also they help students in their projects and problems.
Other: The campus life of UPES is good, the faculty members are very sincere in their work. The faculty members also provide notes online. The transport facilities of UPES are very nice. The college provides internship programs. The college provides sports games and other activities at state and national levels.

Placements: Around 60% of students secured internships, primarily with leading tech companies and startups like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and Cognizant. The average package range was between 6-8 LPA. Common roles included Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Cloud Engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at UPES Dehradun is well-equipped for students in technical and engineering courses. The campus provides high-speed Wi-Fi across classrooms, libraries, and labs, ensuring students have access to online resources. The labs are modern and fully outfitted with the necessary equipment, supporting practical learning for various specializations. Classrooms are spacious, well-lit, and equipped with smart boards, enhancing the interactive learning experience.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable and accessible. The exams are moderately challenging and designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring that students grasp core concepts effectively. The pass percentage is reasonably high for those who engage with the course material. My life in college of UPES.
Placements: Only 70–73% of students got placed.
The average package is 800000, and the highest package is 1.3cr.
Wipro, Amazon, etc. are the top recruiters.
95% of students got internship.
After 1st year, you got your 1st social internship. In 2nd year, you got 2nd internships, and in 3rd year, you have to do many internships to get placement in 4th year.
Infrastructure: Wifi is only for studying, the labs are good and spacious, and the library is also quite large.
My hostel is average because it has 2 sharing rooms.
Food is also average my room includes an attached bathroom, 2 tables, 2 beds, and 2 wardrobes.
Mess food is sometimes yummy and sometimes not very tasty.
Faculty: Teachers all are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is mid-average.
Yes, it helps students get industry-ready.
Semesters are very difficult and the pass percentage is likely 80%.
There are 2 exams per semester, one after 2 months of starting the semester called the midterm and the other 1.5 months later, the end-of-semester exam.
Other: I chose this course for technology indulgence
Urja is the name of our annual events. There are many activity like sports event, dancing events, etc. I like my course to have more industry indulgence.

The two institutions where School of Computer Science at UPES can be compared with Graphic Era University in r regard to B.Tech in Computer Science are; both institutions have good reputation about them but these are different in some aspects.
