- Library
VELS University has a fully automated central library with a seating capacity of 400 persons and follows Open Access System. The library has a collection of 100549 books and 8645 back volumes. It has the subscription of more than 328 Periodicals (National & International), more than 11717 e-journals, 108438 e-books, 3590 dissertations, 4766 audio-visual resources. School of Computing Science has its own departmental library with a collection of nearly 13,000 e-journals. It also facilitates access to e-journals from BENTHAM Science Pharmacy, Micromedex’s Drugdex System, Inventi Online, Nature Online, NPTEL etc. The library is also an associate member of Madras Library Network (MALIBNET) and Institutional member British Council Library.
- Hostel
VELS University has separate hostel facility for boys and girls. Laundry facility is available to the students on chargeable basis. Mess and Canteen facility is also available for the inmates at reasonable rates.
