Kerala University: Atmosphere, Curriculum, Placement, and others.

Placements: Placements are very low in Kerala University. Most of the courses do not provide placement options. However, the graduation certificate is largely accepted by job providers. Direct college placements are very rare, even though a Placement Cell is actively working in the University.

My brief review on University of Kerala School of Distance Education, Karyavattom.

Placements: Actually, the college does not directly provide placements to students. Instead, it focuses on offering excellent training and learning practices to help students accomplish their goals. It provides good study materials and resources to support students in their academic endeavors. The primary pathway to securing a good placement is by passing with a good percentage, which enhances our chances of landing a good job in this field.

Our college has a good infrastructure and a good campus life.

Placements: The highest salary offered is around Rs. 100000 per month to Rs. 200000 per month, and the lowest is Rs. 20000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, UST Global, etc. Around 55% of students receive internships from various companies.

I am somewhat satisfied with the course and college.

Placements: This was a private study or distance education programme so there won't be any campus selection. So finding a job or a recruiting company stays on your own hands. The job roles for this particular course were accountant, assistant accountant, bookkeeping, etc. The salary package offered will be very low. Try to keep this as just a backing degree and use this for better and core courses that helps you in your favours.

Review of School of Distance Education, University of Kerala.

Placements: So far, I haven't received any internship, but our seniors have done an internship in companies at Technopark. Stipend offered is minimal. When I look at the work culture, the companies that visit are mainly from Technopark and also often include Infosys and UST Global.
