The only thing which can let the college down is the costly fee structure.

Placements: Our college provides placement for almost each student, but it always depends on the capabilities and communication skills of student and his/her pointer in exams. If you want a job through campus selection work hard and earn a pointer more than 8, nobody can stop you from getting job from campus placement.

A short note on University of petroleum and energy studies.

Placements: Placements were good enough this time for senior batches, the average placement was 6 Lacs per annum, nearly 80% of the batch got placed. We hope best for everyone. Our University also holds badge for the placement representative of the college that is provided to the best student.

UPES - Best petroleum engineering institute in the country.

Placements: The placements on UPES campus are quite satisfying. A wide variety of roles have been offered to the students in various MNCs. Last year, top notch firms like Reliance, Indian Oil etc. Visited the campus and recruited more than 100 students. The internship opportunities are also satisfactory. About 85 percent of the students get placed every year.

The University with golden heart.

Placements: Actually, I don't want to be placed, and my aim is to do Masters. After the completion of my B.Tech degree, I wanted to be an I. E. S. officer, so this is the reason why I do not want to be placed. If I do masters from IITs or the other best colleges, then I have sufficient time to prepare for the I.E.S examination. It's very difficult for me to prepare for the examination while doing the job.

Review of electrical engineering at UPES, Dehradun.

Placements: We had literally only 3 core companies that too startups doing okay in business. Rest core companies were predominantly mechanical related and others were IT and marketing. Out of 69 in first batch, only 34-35 were placed- half of these figures in IT.

Faculty members are above than average and placements are just average.

Placements: Placements are average, 10% of the student will get placement in core (petroleum) companies and 90% of students will be placed in computer Science based companies. The highest packages are offered by wetherford drilling company. Applied petroleum engineering with specialisation in upstream is one of the best branch of upes.

College with opportunities.

Placements: I got to know that this year, out 60 students, around 50 students were placed and the highest package was given to one student- which around 13 lacs per annum, while two got a package of around 8 Lacs. The other remaining were placed in between 3-6 Lacs.

This is an honest review of UPES.

Placements: The placements only depend on how a student performs. The student has to be not only good at academics but also he/she has to be good mentally. The placements here are good, and the placement percent is above 90%.

It is a good college to experience and create memorable moments for the rest of the life.

Placements: Placement is good. CS branch holds a good a placement record with more number of students placed in a company. When it comes to branches like civil, mechanical, and EE etc., there are no placements. The reason behind it is, the companies don't visit the college for placements.

UPES has a great infrastructure and teachers.

Placements: Placements have been good every year with the highest package going up to 30LPA. I have had the pleasure of knowing and still being in touch with many alumni of our college. The average package is around 5LPA. Most of the students get internships from the college.

Worth the risk if you believe in yourself.

Placements: Placements for branches like chemical, upstream, gas stream are usually good. Average package is around 4-5 Lacs pa. anyways at the end it all depends on a particular students ability that will get you placed not the name of the university. Opportunity is there for the taking.

UPES a campus of dreams and knowledge.

Placements: The placement in this field has both management and physical work. You can opt for either one. The placement percentage is almost 100. With companies of every sector needing Fire officials this branch is quiet trendy. Safety is never outdated and can be improvised time to time.

It is very great that we can mesmerize anyone in this world.

Placements: The placements are nice and really complementary as we know that we are the one who has to save the future generation and have to take the responsibility on our shoulder, so companies are also helping us to help more. Almost everyone got placed, few are left, and companies are still coming.
