It's a very good branch and you will get better knowledge about the Automobiles. Labs are very good & faculty members are very helpful. The core companies coming for this branch are Maruti Suzuki India Limited, MAN Trucks & Buses, Honda Cars India Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Transportation Corporation of India Limited, etc.

The place is good, a good study environment. Professors have great amount of experience and expertise. Placement facilities are good but as everywhere it depends upon the students capabilities of turning an opportunity to a job. The college has a great campus, students from different parts of India come to study. So a mixed cultural mixing can be experienced. Sports facilities are also good. College hostel mess is well managed, a lot of emphasis is on health hygiene and quality of the food serve...

It is quite good in campus and faculty members. college have also very strict and hard rules which students have to follow, apart from that it’s grading system. Faculty is not helpful and supportive. It is located 13 km from perm Nagar. It is located at very natural places.

Gives you opportunity to succeed in life and has a beautiful campus. Fees is little high compared to others but it’s worth it. Strict rules are followed and is a genuine place where you can seriously built your career. It even offers future internships but for that you have to prove your skills.

Sadly, my college exemplifies what is going wrong with the education sector in India. It has been turned into pure business disregarding the students' future and also no focus on imparting quality education to the students. It has more restrictions than a public school, has a very small campus, limited no. of qualified faculty members (please don't go by degrees they are having as only a handful can impart that knowledge to students), no extracurricular (you have to choose between attendance and...

UPES is not only one of the beautiful campuses in India, it's also a brilliant university providing opportunities for students who can work hard. The placements are good (In my batch 75% of the people got placed in companies like Reliance, Tata Consulting Engineers etc.) The best branches are of course, the oil and gas ones (Upstream, Gas and Chemical). The placements for CS Courses was also satisfactorily good. They have the best faculty. The fees is really prohibitive and when you add the host...

This college offers specialized degree in a very specialized fields. I would suggest you to go for only petroleum engineering here because they have faculties recruited from the core fields especially downstream. Do not join if you are not interested in this field because after a while you would get tired and would be frustrated.

Good college to study the core sector courses especially M.tech, HSE and bachelor degree in petroleum engineering with so many streams. Environment and infrastructure is much better. Masters is business management in standalone departments like energy trading, oil and gas management, port and shipping management, logistics and supply chain management.

UPES is known of offering highly specialized courses, for example Petroleum related branches, Automotive and Aerospace, Geo science and Geo-informatics etc. The problem with these courses is that they are too much refined (they are basically the post graduate courses) and student is not taught with a broader perspective. Hence the basics remain weak and the job scenario gets too much narrowed because of the highly specialized course. The placements are good for Applied Petroleum upstream and Au...

Placements is good but not in all the branches, enquire before you take admission. I have done my B.Tech also from this college and now I am doing my masters too, The scenic beauty is good, the current faculty members are pathetic. The joining hand with laureate will now bring good faculty to the college.

It is such a nice college, I studied here and got placed. Weather and location both are good. One more thing I would like to tell you is that faculty members are also good. They give proper guidance so we can achieve our goal in life. A number of factors contribute to making the decision on your dream school. No matter how obscure your interests are, their goal is to make sure they’re accounted for. From great weather to inspiring professors, they have the information to narrow down your list in...

The college is really good and the college is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Great place but the faculty and the grading system is not very good. Although the placement is at par with most of the IITs core programs. So, overall a nice college, good for one who wants to go for courses in petroleum related branches. Talking about the chemical engineering department, a few faculties including Dr. S K Gupta and Dr. Gopal Krishnan are really great but do contain some of the worst faculties too.

The Engineering college of the university located at a beautiful picturesque location boasts of some specialized branches. Wearing uniform is a menace for some and convenience for others.
