Probably spent the most valuable years of my life here; good experienced faculty if you want to learn (especially for petroleum engineering and earth sciences). The campus is one of the best in the country with state of the art facilities. Add to that you have good placements.. What more can one ask for ? Negatives: Stringent with policies and attendance. Far off from city (being close to nature may not make you feel good for 4 years on a trot)

Excellent placements if you are a petroleum grad student. A serene place and intensive co-curricular are the perfect blend for a prodigy to blossom along. The hostel life and the dress code are the only two painting on the canvas that looks shabby. The reason is an absolute cut off from the happening of the city owing to the far-fetched location of the college.

Not satisfied. Can be made better in terms of campus and campus selection. But if not considering these two things, there is nothing more to think upon. Overall nice place to pass your time for around four years. Make some friends at least that motivates you to come to college.

It’s a good college with good campus, nice and supportive faculty. It’s been a great opportunity to be here. Some drawbacks are there like internet facilities, partiality. But in short it is good in many. It also provides with good projects as well.

It’s a place where every 3rd person wants to be. Great infrastructure with all the facilities. But on an average it’s a place to survive. Engineering guys exist here due to existence of university's own law and Management College. People who want to study are surely invited and those who don't are also because you will surely be made to study.

The good things about the college are its superb infrastructure, excellent environment regarding studies, and awesome weather. Interactive sessions are conducted between students and management on a regular basis. Placements are up to the mark. The bad things about the college are its school type’s rules and regulations, hectic time table and attendance issues. Library is good but not sufficient.

It’s a very nice college with greenery all around which attract the most. It’s quite an expensive college with good faculty and crowd. One can find a projector in every room. Average placement is of about 3-4 lacs. Companies like Infosys, Bosch, Wipro, Mahindra, and TCS etc. visit campus for placements.

The college really provides a good platform if someone want to do engineering in petroleum trades/automotive/other domain specific streams. No doubt fee structure is very high. Placement only depends on your caliber, college will never assure you 100% placement.

Only good with it's scenic beauty and that also feels good for few weeks then can be a torturing place. Only few teachers are worth calling teachers many don't deserve to be in the college. Placement of this college is just a boast. It's just a matter of luck that one of you might get placement in your core else you might be also one those labourers in Infosys or Wipro.

The journey at UPES depends on how you make it.

Placements: In batch 2021–25, there were 17 students in the mechanical engineering course. The university focuses on in-depth knowledge about the branch, starting from the basics to the advanced level. This helps in preparing for the advanced competitive exams (GATE) and also for technical interviews. In the third year, it is mandatory to undergo technical training or an internship for 2 months. The students are free to choose the company they want to work for as interns through self-choice or are helped by...

Placements: The highest placement package is maybe 5Lkhs but the work experience will be good . The recruiting companies for aerospace include TATRA , Adani Power , Accenture , ONGC , Vedanta and others . The percentage of students getting internships can vary on students interest and experience or skill . However UPES provides a variety of opportunities to students for internship and industry exposure .
