Best college for B.Tech in North region of india.

Placements: Last year according to data, almost 94% of students got placed from UPES and it has a separate committee for placement where they teach us and guide us on how to crack different types of placement examinations. From the third year onwards, students become eligible for campus placements. There were many companies where students from here got placed. Some of those are TCS, Amazon, Infosys, and many more. Around 90% of students get placed every year.

UPES has a good infrastructure and a good faculty support. The environment here is very good.

Placements: The placements are very decent in some courses, but some courses here are newly added. So, the overall placements are above average. If you have a good marks in college life, there is a high chance of getting a good package. Many companies visit this college every year.

The college environment was very friendly and everything is available easily there.

Placements: In placement, packages were around 40000 and maximum was 80000, IT companies came for recruitment. 60% students were placed in campus. Maximum students got placement in good companies, placement of college is better than other places nearly every one gets placement in a good companies so don't worry about the placement because placement is too good.

It is a good college, but it can be better.

Placements: Many national and international firms visit our college for placements and internships. Companies focusing on a particular branch also visit our college like Mahindra, and they generally approach our college for mechanical and mechanical related branches.

I had a good experience at UPES, and my friends made it great.

In this college, students will not get help from anyone.

Placements: Placements are very bad here, and none of the core companies visited here for the same. They will debar students or provide jobs in marketing, business development profile or IT sector jobs for non-IT students. Only a few IT branches are better than core branches in placements. Top recruiting companies for the chemical are Reliance, Exxon Mobil and Phillips Carbon Black.

Review of School of Engineering, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: Placements are good here or great, so you can have high hopes for placements in this college. Students of APE (applied petroleum engineering) gas and upstream get placed in reputable core companies like Schlumberger, Halliburton, Shell and Exxon Mobil. This is the scenario when UPES boasts APE gas and upstream as its flagship programme.

UPES is one of the best colleges for petroleum course.

Placements: Placements in our college are somewhat good. The college provides you with a lot of opportunities, but it solely depends on you how you cope up with industry demand skills. While talking to seniors, I came to know that one should maintain their grades throughout the course so that it could help them in the placement procedure.

College life is good, lots of place to chill. Far from city, less polluted area.

Placements: During theses days placement for mechanical students is not easy to get. The lowest package is 3 Lacs per annum. Actually I'm not too confident about how many recruiting companies are there for my course. College provide a choice for internship programme whether you want to do self internship or from College.

It is a good college in its own way.

Placements: This course was started a year ago. As the university provides specialisation, it makes the students more clear about what they want to focus on and also what they have to improve too. We are the second batch of the course. Placements are still not a part of B.Sc for now, as there is one more year for the first batch to pass out. Internships are being provided too as per the student interest.
