Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Most students (about 90%) are placed in this course. The packages of students vary based on their CV and skills, but the highest package for this course is about 30 LPA, the average package is about 20 LPA, and the lowest package goes to 5 LPA. There are many top recruiting companies for this course, such as Accenture, Oracle, Airtel, Wipro, and many more. Around 80% of students get internships from the course.
Infrastructure: The campus of the college is not very big, but the infrastructure is 10 on 10. We have capsule lifts, centralized AC classrooms and library, and frequent lab schedules. There is no in-house hostel in the college, but the canteen is well maintained, with hygiene as their topmost priority, and the taste is very good. Medical facilities are also quite good.
Faculty: Some teachers are strict during the lectures, but some are very sweet and helpful; they make the concepts very clear. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant and makes students ready for work. The difficulty level of exams is good, and if students do not have a good knowledge of the topic and subject, then it’s not easy to pass.
Other: This course comprises lectures and practical knowledge of economics, math, statistics, and computer science. Practical projects would be a great help for students.

I am not satisfied with this college because of the campus and its timings.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. The placement cell is quite good and helpful. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Infosys, KPMG, Dell, EY, Adobe, etc.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are provided in Babubhai and DJ Sanghvi colleges, as our college should have its campus. Labs and classrooms are provided, but the timings of the classes are not good.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly knowledgeable and qualified. They have many years of experience. They teach with passion. A few subject teachers take the course very lightly and neglect proper teaching.
Other: Our teachers should adopt new methods to teach.

Review of Sunandan Divatia School of Science.
Placements: Placements are decent in our college. Most students tend to take placements by themselves, not from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not so great because our building is under construction. Students are shifted to the junior college building near the college. Hostels are not good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They make a lot of effort. They teach us everything which is required for the job. The course structure is good. Exams invigilation is strict. Students can study one month before exams.
Other: Events and extracurricular activities are not held in our college. Clubs are not active. There are only 60 students in our course. The crowd is decent. Students should take accommodations from outside of the college. Students still need to learn skills like SQL, TORA, and Python because our college only provides an introduction.

Review of Sunandan Divatia School of Science, NMIMS, Mumbai.
Placements: Placements are decent in our college. The previous year, the average salary package offered was 9 LPA. A lot of companies visit our college. Overall, placements are adequate but I believe you can get better pay if you find your own job.
Infrastructure: The course is excellent and has a lot of possibilities to give returns in the future. It has good value for money. Our college hostels are terrible.
Faculty: The course curriculum is the same as at Columbia and Harvard. Teachers try their best to explain but at times, they fail to explain the concepts with clarity. But still, teachers are open to helping in the case of any problem. The examination department is strict.
Other: In our college, no events take place on campus and clubs are dead.

Review of Sunandan Divatia School of Science, NMIMS, Mumbai.
Placements: Approximately 80% to 90% of students were placed in the senior batches. The lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA to 9 LPA, and the highest was 12 LPA. IDFC First Bank was the company that recruited the maximum number of students. Data analyst roles are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not the best, and no one opts for it. The infrastructure is decent, but the overall quality is not very good. Most students choose to go to PGs, apartments, and other third-party accommodations because the hostel is not good. The washrooms look like they were made 20 or 30 years ago.
Faculty: We have good teachers but not that great at explaining the brilliant curriculum. Exams are not difficult. About 70% of students pass. The exams have a no leniency policy, but the course is beautifully designed. It is one that genuinely helps students to develop their skills to the best of their abilities.
Other: Campus life is not good. There are a few extracurricular activities. Most effort is put towards studying only, which isn't the best thing for students.

It has good faculty members and a good campus, but the rules and regulations are not good.
Placements: There are no placements yet as we are the second batch for the data science program. Many of my friends and I got internships in fields such as data analytics and software development. Recruiters are looking for people with a background in data science, and mentioning the course certainly helps.
Infrastructure: School of Science and School of Mathematics do not have a campus yet as it is under construction. Our classrooms are currently located on the Baghubai and DJ Sangvi campuses, both of which are just a short distance from the main NMIMS building. Our campus is amazing, with clean and modern classrooms. It has good network connectivity. The university does not have any hostels, and I am residing in an apartment.
Faculty: Faculty members have been amazing and helpful. They are easy to approach and are eager to help students with problems and doubts. Many have degrees from accredited universities. Our course curriculum is new and relevant as the course was introduced 3 years ago. The pass percentage is 40%. If you fail any exam, you will be given a chance to reappear after a month. If you fail in that too, you will have to drop the entire year and retake the failed papers the next year. Alternatively, you can repeat the whole year if you fail.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue my master's abroad, and data science is a course in demand, which strengthens your resume or CV. I wish the attendance rules were a bit relaxed and an ATKT system implemented instead of wasting a year if they fail in 1 or 2 papers. There are not many fests and events in School of Mathematics, but we have our own fair.
