VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies has a fully automated central library with a seating capacity of 500 persons and follows Open Access System. The library has a collection of 114305 books, 137717 e-books, and 10032 back volumes. It has the subscription of more than 359 Periodicals (National & International), more than 12381 e-journals, 4106 dissertations, 4849 audio-visual resources. It also facilitates access to e-journals from IEEE/IEL, ASME, ASCE, EBSCO, ProQuest, BENTHAM Science Pharmacy, Micromedex’s Drugdex System, Inventi Online, Nature Online, Law finder, NPTEL etc. The library is also an associate member of Madras Library Network (MALIBNET) and Institutional member British Council Library.

VELS University has separate hostel facility for boys and girls. Laundry facility is available to the students on chargeable basis. Mess and Canteen facility is also available for the inmates at reasonable rates.

School of Pharmaceutical Sciences laboratories is equipped with the latest equipment such as HPLC with UV-Vis Detector, Physiograph, Dissolution Apparatus, Rotary Tablet punching machine, Brookfield viscometer, UV Spectrophotometer, HPLC with PDA Detector, Cooling Centrifuge etc.
