Placements: Our seniors got the placements in the multinational companies like Concentrix. In our batch, Concentrix had come for the interview, and ten candidates were selected out of the 120 that had registered. They were offered the roles in BPO and sub management. Around 8.5% of the students got the internship. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 1.8 lakhs PA and the lowest stipend that was offered went around Rs. 1.2 lakhs PA. There is a placement cell in the college as well. It is useful for the beginn...
Placements: It is one of the prestigious colleges. In my final year, I had done my internship in Pantaloons for 15 days. Faculty members, mainly HOD, are very helpful. In my final year, I have attended a logical ability test. At the end of my graduation, the college also offered campus placement, but I opted for further education. I got Rs. 2000 as an internship stipend.
Placements: The placements of the college are not at all satisfactory. 2-3 companies usually come for interviews, and they only take 30-40 students paying them 15,000-20,000 monthly. But, what more you can expect, you are paid very less amount in graduation that is 4000-5000 annually.
Placements: SAJC had great placement opportunities for the final year students. It opens platform and help in many ways. I have been placed at TCS. The companies like Indigo Airlines, Tata Consultancy, Genpact, etc. come to our college every year and recruit students. A great number of students get placements every year. The average salary is around Rs 20,000 per month for freshers.
Placements: Placements in the college takes place on the basis of Merit (I.e. the highest academically gets first). We have not received any placements yet but our seniors have reported to have got in accounting and taxation firms. Percentage of students to be placed- 5% from all shifts. Stipend/ salary was around 2000 per month. Firms that visited the college were accounting firms and taxation firms generally. Students were offered to be interns in their firms for accounting and taxation purposes. No place...
Placements: The placements of the college will be dependent on students ability my senior batch gives no such better placements for any company. Cut-off and talent will be valuable so placements are not good at all that everyone should take a job there is a tough competition.
Placements: The college does not provide any placement or job for the students, after completing the under graduation or post graduation. You have to search for the job, and no recruitment company comes here. Basically, they provide only a degree, and then you have to run out for the job.
Placements: I am working in an import-export company as an import executive and accountant. The college is nice and education oriented. I was in the morning batch, where the teachers used to teach very nicely and would complete the syllabus. There used to be preparatory exams before the final exams. Also, there were many co-curricular activities like dancing music, fest debates, etc. The college timings are nice; it is very good for the girls.
Placements: All the leading companies visit the campus for placements. Proper training is provided to the students before attending the interview. Usually, B.Com students go for higher studies, as I heard recently, the average package for B.Com students is only about 2.5 to 3 lakhs per annum. The percentage of placements offered is also very low.
Placements: Few entities come here for placement.TCS, ICICI bank, etc., are some of the companies visit the campus. Not a good number of students were selected by them. Salary will start at 10k per month. Please don't hope for jobs from this placements. As students pursue further study, they mostly not go for jobs, but anyhow, placement policy is not fair enough here.
Placements: Placements depend on the course one is pursuing. All the departments do not have their placement cell. The placement cell, however, is helpful to those who seek it. Companies like IBM visited and recruited the year I passed out. But placements, in general, are not that great. Being a Calcutta University college, the concept of an active placement cell coordinating with all departments is still not prevalent here.
Placements: The college's campus recruitment processes are pretty weak. They hardly emphasize on providing campus recruitment to their students. Very few companies visited the college for placements. One of the major company that came in was Wipro Ltd. Please don't join the college with high expectations regarding placements.
Placements: Seth Anandaram Jaipuria College does not have a placement cell. Tata Consultancy Services held an exam once to recruit back office executives, but there is neither a formal placement cell nor any companies visit to offer jobs or internships. There is no internship programme associated.
Placements: The placements are not very great but a good number of campus placement occur every year. Companies like TCS, Indigo Airlines, Genpact and a few more come to this college. A very less number of students got placed in fact, about 10% or even less. The average salaries were in between 10,000 to 20,000 depending on companies, and the job achieved. Usually, the jobs offered were mainly back office jobs or consumer executive jobs. According to my knowledge, I don't know anybody who got a job with w...
Placements: Last year TCS came for the placement drive. Many seniors were placed and the package was pretty good. Mainly the role of accountant is given from the people chosen from our department. Most of them were offered a placement in the previous year in TCS.
Placements: Roles offered by placements in our college are not as high ranking as they are generally based on graduation degrees and there is not a lot of demand or hype for Bachelor degree nowadays. A lot of my seniors from 2023 batch did get selected one of them even got selected in Tata consultancy services.
Placements: In my college there do come some renowned company for placement like this year TCS came for recruitment. I do not know the exact percentage of recruitment but I guess it would be around 50% -60 %. No such kind of top roles have been offered.
Placements: Our college has an excellent and active placement cell that invites many PSUs and private companies to recruit graduates. Reputed companies like TCS, Concentrix, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Amazon, etc., have visited our college and offered a secure and good job to almost every student. They motivate them.
Placements: This is the best college in Kolkata. More than 70% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is offered was Rs 46,000, the lowest Ws Rs 35,000, and the average was Rs 40,000. Banking and SSC are top in recruiting companies. 20% of students got internships from my college, and they are most in SSC.
