The college is good for those who want to explore themselves.
Placements: A maximum of 40% of the students got placed in the relevant companies. The percentage of internships varies every year, and it depends on students whether he or she want to do internship or not. The courses offered in our college are electronics, electrical, computer science and mechanical.
Infrastructure: The campus is lush green, and it got the most lush green campus award in Punjab. The new hostels are well-furnished except 2 old hostels, and the food quality is not healthy. Cleanliness is maintained well.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are very supportive, and they support in every field related to studies, research, further studies or any project. It totally depends on students whether he or she is willing to take part in some extracurricular activities, and teachers support them.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in the electrical field.

It is a waste of money to study here. It doesn't have placements and teaching.
Placements: About 10% of the students or less than 10% got placed from our course. Our college doesn't provide placement support. Even if any student gets selected in any company by chance, our college won't let them study the semester for the sake of attendance. Proper classes are not conducted by TPO for aptitude, etc., to prepare students for placement drives.
Infrastructure: There are old instruments, and there are no proper instructors in labs. Teachers are not interested in teaching. Lab technicians are not qualified to perform experiments except for one or two technicians. There will be a scam in monthly bills of hostel food. The warden doesn't check the hygiene condition of food (professors are appointed as additional posts to earn money). There are no sports facilities and grounds. There is not even a washroom on the ground for sports activities. There is no proper running track, and even there is wild grass. They waste clean water by pumping it into the grounds.
Faculty: One of the teachers in the electrical department is good, and he is KD sir. Other than that teacher, none of the teachers wants to work to nurture students, and they don't have knowledge about the subject they taught. They do not even have a proper degree in teaching. Every teacher wants to do time pass and wastes students' precious college life by making them attend classes only for the sake of attendance. They are biased with other states' students.
Other: The intake is very less in our department, and all seats are allocated in the 2015 batch, which is our batch. We passed out in 2019, but due to not having placements in electrical, the number of admissions reduced drastically. So, the management of the college is thinking of shifting the department and merging it with another college batch. I suggest you not to take admission here because it is under the government of Punjab.

I am satisfied with my college. Infrastructure is nice. Clean and green environment.
Placements: 50% students got placed. The students got placed get average package. Some companies are Punjab based and some are MNCs many of my friends got placed in MNCs. On of my friend is in tata power and I am in hpcl. Many of the students got internship in different companies.
Infrastructure: There is a separate floor of the electrical department fully Wi-Fi in class rooms. And there are so many labs. The hostel is nice. Food of mess is average. There are so many things in hostel, like tv room, gym, do many indoor games. Safety of girls is very good.
Faculty: Teachers is qualified and experienced but they are non PhD. At that time so many teachers were doing Ph.D. They taught us many things and in a smart and digital manner. Head of the department is nice and supportive. They told the students to make projects.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, course curriculum, no placements and high fees.
Placements: For my branch, none of the companies visited the campus for offering placements in 4 years, and it also applies to our senior batch. Students got placed but in telecom companies or companies which are not related to their educational background. Those companies offered a salary package of 1.5 to1.8 LPA. Although, companies for ECE and CSE departments are visited for campus drives. Placements in CSE branch are great. Companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, etc., visit the campus for conducting placement drives and offers a good salary package between 3 to 4 LPA. They offered GET(Graduate Engineer Trainee) role to all the students. The college doesn't provide any internships. There is a placement cell. Except for CSE and ECE branches, the placement percentage of other branches is 0, so placements are not efficient.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility, but the speed is100 kbps. Sometimes you might have to wait to play Youtube videos in 360p. There are labs, but the lab attendant and teachers will only do the experiments by themselves. Sometimes the lab attendant gets confused in performing the experiment. Labs are in good condition, but the chances of learning new things are quite less. The library is good, and you can get all the books related to your syllabus. Medical facilities are also there, but the thing is the doctor and compounder will provide you with the same medicine in every case either you have a fever, headache, or cold, etc. There is a huge ground in the college to play football, volleyball, basketball courts, cricket and hockey, and the sports in-charge is also supportive. Classrooms are quite good. As it is a state government college, so you should not compare it with a private college. But the drawback is there is no single auditorium in the college is a major concern. Quality of food available in the mess and canteen is average. Hostel rooms are quite average, and washrooms in every hostel are the worse.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are not helpful, not qualified, as well as not knowledgeable. Their main aim is to complete the syllabus, and they just want a minimum of 75% of attendance from the students. Most of them used to come, read the books and finish the syllabus. However, 1or 2 teachers are quite hard-working, and they don't use books while teaching and are real professors. There are 7 teachers for 165 students. So the student to faculty ratio can be 23: 1. The college conducted a 3-days industrial visit to hydropower plant in Nangal, Himachal. Other than that, we have not visited any industry. The course curriculum is the worst. There is no systematic pattern to teach the subjects in the 8th semester. We were forced to study Neural Network, which does not have any link with my branch.
Other: Earlier, our college used to organise events, fests, but slowly, organising the fests are reducing. Events and fests are organised once a year. There is no connectivity. The best thing in college is its campus surroundings, which are lush green. The college has invested more money in the plantation than studies. There are one or two events like SECA (Society of Extra-Curricular Activities), ISTE ( Indian Society For Technical Education) organised by the college once a year.

Other: This is a good campus for student who belong to the stream of Engineering. All courses are offered by college regarding technical education. CSE and ECE placements are quite good as compared to other branches. Faculty and staff is good. Campus is widespread in 100 acers of area having lush green surroundings together with all the facilities. My experience was good as I got on-campus placement but otherwise placements are average.
