SJMSOM PhD Eligibility & Highlights 2024
Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), IIT Bombay offers doctoral courses for teaching and research domains. PhD courses are offered in 10 specialisations. Admission to the courses is entrance-based. SJMSOM accepts scores of national-level exams, which are GATE/UGC-NET (Lectureship)/UGC-JRF/CSIR-NET/CAT/GMAT/GRE. Further, a written test or aptitude test is also conducted followed by an interview round.

Candidates seeking admission to SJMSOM IIT Bombay PhD course must meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Applications of only eligible students are accepted. There is no such provision for direct admission to the PhD programme at SJMSOM. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD in management programme should fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

IIT Bombay does not offer B.Tech. + MBA as an integrated degree. The intake to the flagship MBA program provided by Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management - SJMSoM is carried out separately.
