SJMSOM offers 18-month Executive programme jointly with Washington University in St. Louis at the PG level. The part-time residential EMBA programme is spread across three semesters of six months. The final merit list for candidates selected for the MBA programme at SJMSOM, IIT Bombay will be based on candidate’s composite score of different parameters which includes CAT overall score, personal interaction (PI) and candidate profile. Aspirants with a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in any discipline with 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ST) can apply. Further, CA, ICWA, CFA, CS, or FRM with a first-class bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ST) can also apply. SJMSOM IIT Bombay also accept applications from candidates appearing for the final degree examination. However, in such a case, the final admission is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions at the time of admission.

The total tuition fee is inlcusive of admssion fee, examination fee, caution deposit, and charges for many other facilities provided by the institute during the programme. The total tuition fee for the PhD programme at SJMSOM is INR 96,000. Note that the mentioned fee is as per unofficial sources, hence, is subject to revision.

Below is the MBA eligibility criteria at SJMSOM:

• Candidates need to pass a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate in case of SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category) out of 10 or applicants appearing for the final year of degree or completed the degree and awaiting result can also apply or,
• Applicants appearing for final year of the degree and those who have completed the degree requirements and awaiting results can also apply. The applicant should have secured an aggregate of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent till the latest exam that has been completed and whose scores are available or,
• CA, CS, CFA, ICWA or FRM, with a first-class bachelor’s degree in any discipline having secured 60% aggregate (55% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category) in aggregate (including all years /semesters) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category) out of 10 can also apply for MBA programme.

MBA Curriculum:

JMSOM IIT Bombay MBA placements 2023 recorded 100% placement rate. The highest package and average package offered stood at INR 54 LPA and INR 28.88 LPA, respectively.

As such there are no multiple SJMSOM Counselling rounds for MBA cutoff . Candidates who appear in the CAT 2023 are eligible for counselling only if they get the required minimum marks as per the eligibility criteria SJMSOM. Also, all candidates who appeared in the written exam and are interested in admission must submit appear for the personal interviews. Going as per the past year trends, SJMSOM Counselling 2024 is to be conducted in three steps. First step is appaer for CAT, second step is to qualigy for the round and finally appear for the interview.

SJMSOM conducts Personal interviews or Counselling for allocation of seats after the CAT results have been released. Yes, SJMSOM offers a two-year full-time MBA programme. Candidates willing to take admission to the MBA programme at SJMSOM, IIT Bombay must fulfil the following eligibility and selection criteria:

• The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for reserved categories).
• Candidates should have a valid CAT score based on which they will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round.

There is no such management quota for admission to any of the programmes offered at SJMSOM, IIT Bombay. SJMSOM, IIT Bombay courses admission are completely entrance exam based. When comparing DMS IIT Delhi, SJMSOM IIT Bombay, and VGSOM IIT Kharagpur for the EMBA program, several factors come into play.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. Bachelor of Technology, BS, or DD candidates can apply for the programme at the end of their sixth semester with the approval of the DUGC of the concerned department. Students must have a minimum CPI of 7.0 at the end of their 6th semester and should not have any backlog in their Undergraduate courses.
