The eligibility criteria of the M.Des course is that the candidates must have a qualifying degree in Design/Architecture/ Interior design/ Fine arts or in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. Candidates should have qualified for the entrance examination conducted for design courses. There is no upper age limit for candidates who are applying for the M.Des course.

The total tuition fee for SMAID BArch course is INR 4.50 lakh. The fee excludes one-time deposit that candidates need to pay at the time of admission. Apart from the course fee, aspirants need to pay an application fee at the start of the admission process. Candidates can submit their fee offline in the form of DD. 

30 seats in total are available for the Bachelor of Interior Design (B. Des) programme at SMAID. Undergraduate and graduate programmes in architecture, design, and planning are available at the Shantaben Manubhai Patel School of Studies & Research in Architecture and Interior Design.
