It is the best college in Gujarat.

Placements: In Shantilal Shah Engineering College, almost 3-4 students get placed through placements. Different companies like Reliance, Adani and local companies of Bhavnagar organising the placements. They are offering average salary packages for the job. In SSEC, the mechanical placements are less than IT placements.

Im totally satisfied with my course facilities infrastructure and all the facilities of our colleges

Placements: In branch atleast 60 percentage should be there to take ic branch. The highest salary 35000 will be offered if you are selected in the campus selection. Relaince came for campus drive. To operate turbine and boilers and controls of their system. The lowest package offered in our course 3lac and average 5 lac. From our college I think 15 or 20 days will be given for internship.

Our college has good infrastructure, faculty members, but need more placements.

Placements: Placement from Reliance company visit here, but nobody got placed. Hitachi visited, and they selected two students. Aarti drugs called for an interview through our college, and two students selected from the mechanical department. Other companies visited in different departments like in IT and EC. But need to improve more placements so that students will get selected from campus.

Placements and faculty are good, but water and other facilities are bad.

Placements: I have no experience with placements, so I don't know about it. Many companies like L&T Construction, Reliance, etc., visit the campus to offer placements I think the placements are good for my branch. Faculty members are very intelligent.

Satisfied with my experience of studying and spending 4 years at Shantilal Shah Engineering College.

Placements: Very few placements were available during my tenure. Reliance visited our college to offer placements, and I clearly remember that 3 of my classmates were placed and they were offered the salary of Rs. 48,000-50,000 per month. The college has a placement cell which was constantly working towards bringing more and more companies to offer placements to students.

Review of Shantilal Shah Engineering College.

Placements: Faculty members put good efforts for placements. Many companies including multinational companies visited the college in the previous years. Students of every engineering stream are provided with various opportunities. Even in this year, many local as well as multinational companies have visited the campus.

A rapidly developing college.

Placements: The college has a placement cell. Some companies like Reliance, Infochip, Wipro, etc., visited our college to conduct placements this year. A few candidates were selected. The placement percentage is only 5-6%. Each company offered good salary packages. Infochip offered a salary of Rs. 25,000 per month, which is good enough for freshers. The role offered by the companies was a junior engineer. The company provides training to the students for a period of time, and it varies from company to compa...

This is a Government college, but you'll get better teaching than you expect.

Placements: There was placement from Reliance and L&T but Reliance hired only 2 students and None of them from E&C and L&T only hired some of the Mechanical engineers. Placement wise the college is not really good. Also I must say there is no placements for particular branch except Mechanical engineering but the ratio of placement is very low about less than 10%. So you may get an idea if you're looking for a college which can place you in a good company then try another one.

The college is good to gain knowledge and life improvement choice for me.

Placements: The placement criteria is not like IIT type university, but in terms of education quality and satisfaction, it's average. Since five years the reliance is visiting the college, so I'm satisfied with it. The role is offered by the company depends on students quality like last year, five students are hired from the placements with a different type of price bonds.

In short, If you really wanna learn then this college is best.

Placements: Not at all. No companies are coming for placements neither in BE nor in ME. Two years ago it might be one or two company were here for placement but then 0% placement. There is placement cell. There are some good quality students but placement is Zero.

The best government engineering college in Gujarat.

Placements: The placement is good. The information technology and electronics and communications department placement are good. The private sector companies, multinational and international companies, come to the college and select student who is clever and creative and pay a good salary.

The quality of education is proper in this engineering college.

Placements: The college has the good placement programs. Most of the MNCs and many reputed companies all over the world visit serval times to choose the properly educated engineers from the college. There are some locally based companies, who love to visit the college for the placement everytime and every year. Most of the students appear for the placement.

Keep moderate expectations on this campus.

Placements: As it is a government college, don't keep many expectations from the placement. Some companies do visit the campus to hire the students. Reliance is the top recruiter for IC and the mechanical branch, but it recruits only one or two students, sometimes not even one. But you might get placed by the placement cell of the university.

The college is beautiful and environmental-friendly.

Placements: The placements on the college are good. Most of the students got placed in L&T company. But in all the other branches, the placements are not good. Like mechanical, only two students got placed from the college. The only one company arrived for the placement. In concern of the placement, the college looks like average. But a comparison to the other colleges, this is good.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements and industrial exposure.

Placements: Placements provided by our college are quite good as many companies visit the campus like Reliance Industries, Adani Group, and Torrent Power for core branches like mechanical, electrical and civil. Placements are good for information technology and ECE students. Infosys, TCS and Infochip visit the campus frequently. Different roles like a junior engineer, junior supervisor, etc., are offered. The highest package offered is Rs. 8 lakhs per annum, the lowest package being Rs. 2 lakhs per annum an...

Shantilal Shah Engineering College is very good for all students

Placements: I am studying in Shantilal Shah Engineering College. Our college is very big and very popular in Gujarat Technical University. Every year, many companies are coming for the campus interview like Tata, Reliance, Adani, HR Steel, etc.

Our college is good. It is not well-known but it is good to study and improve skills.

Placements: In our college, many companies come for placements like Reliance, Adani and HR Steel. Last year, EC and IT students' placements were good. But for other branches, placements were poorer than EC and IT. For placement, 30-40% are eligible for campus interviews. In that, 59% are selected for different types of jobs.

Partially satisfied with the college infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The campus placement of the college was average at our time but now, it's really good. L&T and Reliance visit the campus mostly for mechanical. From a strength of 120, only 3 to 4 students got placed at our time.

A good college, pretty good faculty, not so satisfying placements and great campus.

Placements: Placements are available with the best companies like Reliance visiting the campus. But the catch is you need to excel at academics i.e. no failing in any subject. There are other regional companies who participate in the placement activities. People prefer to go for higher studies.

Review of Shantilal Shah Engineering College.

Placements: There are not many reputed or multinational companies having placements in all branches except mechanical and IC. Some regional companies like Infocheap and Smart Info are there for my information technology branch.
