It is the best college in Gujarat.

Placements: In Shantilal Shah Engineering College, almost 3-4 students get placed through placements. Different companies like Reliance, Adani and local companies of Bhavnagar organising the placements. They are offering average salary packages for the job. In SSEC, the mechanical placements are less than IT placements.

Very much enjoying my journey at this campus striving to be better and achieving my goals.

Placements: In my batch of civil engineering the strength of students is about 120. The highest salary offered in our course is 180000, the lowest is of 20000 and the average salary is 55000. The top recruiting companies that visit our campus are Reliance, L & T pvt ltd and more. The roles offered are junior engineer and even managing engineer in rare cases. Our batch has been lucky since 50% of the students got internship in various companies in the summer vacation of 2nd year.

The college provides good infrastructure only.

Placements: Some students in our college are placed. They are offered a starting salary of Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month. In our college, there is a strict rule, and they do not permit for the internship letter in our course. Top roles are not offered. The highest salary package offered is not known, but I hope the starting salary package offered is only 2-3 LPA.

Review of Shantilal Shah Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in our college are not conducted. Private companies and private construction companies visited here for placements as per their requirement. The salary offered is less as the regional company, and startup companies visited here. In Bhavnagar, there are 2 government colleges. As per me, GEC college is the best. However, my experience at Shantilal Shah Engineering College is always the best.

Placements: Only 5-6 students get placement through college. The starting salary offered ranges between Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Reliance and Infosys visited our campus for placements. Roles like an engineer and an assistant of senior engineer are offered to the students. The starting salary package offered ranges between 2.5-3 LPA. Our college does not provide internship for students. According to me, it is a better college, but the only problem is with the hostel facilities.

Placements: Only 1% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Many recruiting companies visit our campus for placements. I do not know about the roles offered to the students. I have no idea about an internship because I am in just 3rd semester so I didn't get proper information about that.

This is a government college, so everything was not good.

Placements: This is a government college, and it is under GTU. So all the exams were conducted by the GTU. PhD course was available, so you can easily study your masters in this college. Many companies like Reliance, Nirma and Tata visit the campus for placements. Almost 50% of the students got placed in the placements.

Our college has good infrastructure, faculty members, but need more placements.

Placements: Placement from Reliance company visit here, but nobody got placed. Hitachi visited, and they selected two students. Aarti drugs called for an interview through our college, and two students selected from the mechanical department. Other companies visited in different departments like in IT and EC. But need to improve more placements so that students will get selected from campus.

Satisfied with the faculty, and the placements are quite good.

Placements: The placement cell of our college tries harder to provide placements. Only IT, mechanical and IC students get placements, and there are no placements for electrical students. This year, there are chances for them to get placed too with the help of GTU's placements cell. The college conducts seminars for students to be aware of placements and interviews.

Satisfied with my experience of studying and spending 4 years at Shantilal Shah Engineering College.

Placements: Very few placements were available during my tenure. Reliance visited our college to offer placements, and I clearly remember that 3 of my classmates were placed and they were offered the salary of Rs. 48,000-50,000 per month. The college has a placement cell which was constantly working towards bringing more and more companies to offer placements to students.

Good placements, faculty and new infrastructure. The best college for extracurricular activities.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Our TPO was very responsive. Companies like Reliance, TatvaSoft, etc., visited our campus and recruited students from various branches. The salary packages offered ranged from 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA. The alumni of the college also helps in inviting companies to the college. Recently, around 8 students got placed in TatvaSoft by our reference for the campaign at our college.

Placements: Placements in the college for my branch are good compared to any other government college. They are trying to improve more in the field of placements. Due to that, more placements take place in the college. They give seminars regarding the placements.

Our college has good facilities, faculty members, and placements.

Placements: In the last two months, four companies visited our college to offer placements. The starting salary offered to the placed students was in between Rs. 19,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. TatvaSoft company offered junior engineer roles to the placed students. It is good for our future. Firstly, they conduct an exam and then interview, and after that, they give training to the students. Overall, our college is good.
