B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028

The infrastructure is great, and even the staff is one of the best in Greater Noida.
Placements: Around 30% of placements, the highest package is around 20 lakhs. Mostly in mechanical, there aren’t too many companies, but the automobile industry is very interesting and has very high-paying jobs. The hands-on projects are the best to maintain a clean CV and resume.
Infrastructure: The college is a beauty, with everything you need. But the hostels are one of the worst, with bad food and small rooms. The food is tasteless. Trespassing is a very easy task for boys. Shops close post 11 pm. Hostel kids are usually good, but some are useless.
Faculty: Teachers are great at their work. They explain with practical examples. Exams are a bit relaxing, and you will never find your schedule hectic. Classes do have gaps. The infrastructure is good for a walk and to sit with friends. Almost every corner has a shop.

Good Infrastructure and Facilities.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students in my course secure placements, with the highest package reaching 8 LPA. Internship opportunities are also availed by 60-70% of students. The prominent roles offered include Front-End Development, Data Analytics, Software Development, etc.
Infrastructure: The course facilities are good, including a spacious library, air-conditioned classrooms with smartboards, and well-equipped labs featuring high-spec PCs. Wi-Fi is functional but consistent. Hostel facilities are average, messy food needs improvement, while sports and medical services are top-notch.
Faculty: The teaching quality is mixed; some teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, while others fall short. The curriculum is relevant and focuses on industry readiness. Semester exams are challenging due to numerous subjects, with a pass percentage of 60%, making thorough preparation essential.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for coding and interest in AR/VR development. The best part is its focus on practical skills. However, improvements in future preparation and discussions on the latest tech trends are needed. The campus is lively with events, activities, and good connectivity.

M.Tech. in Civil Engineering (Construction Management) - Batch of 2024

For graduation, I'd say it was good. But as for post-graduation, I think there are no doubts.
Placements: In the civil department of M.Tech, out of 37 students, only a few (3-4) were placed. The students who were placed were all international students. All students were just pretending to take internships, but no one was actually doing it. Roles are I am not aware. As all students were seniors or had an age gap (6-7 years), a proper talk was necessary.
Infrastructure: The plus point in studying at Sharda was the structure of the building and the variety of students. The Wi-Fi at the college was laggy all the time. I was a day scholar, so hostel life is not my expertise. Hostellers had a bit of advanced games. But overall, it was good to be a part of.
Faculty: Some teachers were just teachers who taught and completed their course. But in 2 years of learning, many were there to support me to find interest in subjects. Teachers regularly pointed out about the future, companies, and all, but no guidance was provided.
Other: So, the theme of the college was too bright but it lacked everything to know off- Too strict at labs. Not many interactive classes. Provided online notes, which were no different from the online ones. Only good at gathering, which most of us attended.

The college is spread over 70 acres of land. Placement is getting better every day.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students get placed. 10% are those who go for family business or further studies. The average package is 6 Lacs. The college is working hard to get recruiters with higher packages. As of now, most of the packages offered are between 5 to 8 Lacs. Only 10 to 20 offers with more than 20+ Lacs have been offered. Companies are mostly Noida-based. Internships are provided in the 7th semester, and most of them turn into PPO. The job roles mostly offered are back-end, front-end engineers, associate engineers, and product designers.
Infrastructure: Each section has a strength of 60 students. But 60 students are divided into 2 groups of 30 each. Classrooms are huge, and well-equipped with smart boards and podiums. Sharda offers a huge library that contains a vast range of books, including course and curriculum books. Books never get listed out. Hostels are available for boys and girls separately. Numerous hostels outside the campus are also available. Meals are the same all over the hostels.
Faculty: Exams and the start of the new session are always on time. Exams are conducted in a very strict manner. 70% attendance is mandatory in all papers. Every semester, you have about 7 papers and 5 practicals. You need to clear all the papers if you don’t want to pay a hefty amount of 3000 per paper to clear it.
Other: I passed out in 2022. In my batch, there were a variety of students - some extremely good in academics and some average too. The best college fest, Chrous, is conducted by Sharda, a 3-day fest. There are clubs, but they are not that active.

Placement is dissatisfactory but crowd is good .
Placements: The placement percentage is average. The average package is 3-4 lacs per annum, and 12 lacs is the highest package in B.Tech computer science. The most offered roles are machine learning engineer, software developer, cloud engineer, data analyst, etc. 90 percent of students get internships, but most of the time it's unpaid.
Infrastructure: Sometimes Wi-Fi is not working. Libraries are good for studying. The mess in the canteen is not good most of the time. Medical facilities are decent. Sports facilities are good because they maintained their grounds regularly. The library at block 45 is too good for study.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are cooperative and teach well. Semester exams are not too hard; they're average, and you have to score at least 33 marks in every subject out of 100 to pass the exam. Most of the questions come from previous year questions, so it's not that hard.
Other: Crowd and campus are also good, but I think they should improve their placement. Events and fests are also good, and there are many clubs that you can join, like music, dance, yoga, etc. The gym is also there, as well as the cricket ground, football ground, and basketball. Scholarship is also available.

Good campus life and highly enjoyable but a rather disappointing college for placement.
Placements: Job offers are not really that good; around only 3 is the average package one gets. Though internships offered are really good, even for 1st-year students. We got offered an internship in the international department to help communicate, with a stipend of 12000 rupees per month.
Infrastructure: Classes are overall really good; in labs, usually, all the apparatus required are available, though I have been through some cases where apparatus is effective but that is very rare. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, but it's not very stable. The library is overall very satisfactory too; most of the books required are always available.
Faculty: Teachers are always helpful, though I will say not every teacher's method of explaining things works with every student, but they do try and not just work for money. Course curriculum is always relevant, and yes, it does make students industry-ready. Semester exams were rather easy.
