In our college, our training and placement mam is also having good contacts in a big company, so it is a better opportunity for all students.

They rely on a handful of companies that come to the college every year to employ students in low-paying jobs, sometimes even BPO jobs.

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2021

In our college, the faculty is good.
Placements: I am in mechanical engineering, and there are a total of 17 students in the batch of 2021. The demand for mechanical engineering nowadays is high because all students are going into computer engineering, and the seats are filling up. In our mechanical department, attendance is compulsory in lectures.
Infrastructure: In our college library, they are strictly checking IDs to get entry, and the lab of the computer department is designed very nicely. The structure of the computer department is also the best. In our college canteen, there is often a lack of seating during break time because it gets crowded.
Faculty: Our mechanical engineering department teachers are very qualified. All teachers and professors hold PhDs in their careers. In Mumbai University, the rule for passing the exam in our college is about 40 percent, and the semester exam is very tough.
Other: I chose this course because of my family, and I am interested in automobiles, mechanical design, industrial mechanical structure design, and much more.

S. S Jondhale College of Engineering in Dombivali is a great college.
Placements: About 60-70% of students get successfully placed in big companies. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA to 20 LPA and the lowest salary package is offered through our B.Tech in civil engineering course. The top recruiting companies are NBCC, RITES, and Construction. About 70% of students get internships through our course. There are all types of big roles offered through our course like construction, manager, etc.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our college. A well-stocked library, well-maintained classrooms, Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, and all facilities are available in our college. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is just awesome. Food quality in mess or canteen is great. Medical facilities is also available. Sports and games are also available in our engineering college.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are very well qualified and know all things about our course. Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful too. The teaching quality is good. The course is very good and makes students industry ready in 4 years of college life. The semester exams are very difficult and we have to study to pass in it. The pass percentage is 85%.
Other: B.Tech in Civil Engineering course makes me industry ready in 4 years so I chose this course. All events and fests are celebrated in our college.

B.E. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2028

Dissatisfied because of the infrastructure. It provided good placements in 2024.
Placements: In the chemical course, the highest salary package offered was 23 LPA in 2024. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. In the chemical course, you easily get a decent salary package. The highest salary package was given by Gulf Sky company. Many students from the chemical department got placed.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have air-conditioners and the library is decent. They are open at the end of 1st semester, but the food served is good. There is a ground to play sports but it is not properly maintained. It also does not provide sports equipment to play. The hostel is not available but you can easily rent a room near the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and very supportive of studies. The IT exams are moderate. If you study exams properly, then it will be easy for you without any backlogs. Semester exams are not that hard, and if you study properly, then you easily get good marks.
Other: I have chosen chemical course because I like Chemistry and its organics. They should make some improvements on the campus and should include some extracurricular activities.

There are no placements, and the college is not value for money.
Placements: The placements are very poor because I have never even seen my seniors getting placed through college placements.
Infrastructure: The college has labs, classrooms, and also a library with useful books and other books of all genres. The classrooms are very big, spacious and tidy enough.
Faculty: The teachers are good during lectures but not at other times to solve our doubts. The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable.

It's good if you attend the college regularly and don't depend on placement.
Placements: There are no placements in our college. Though you can apply off-campus. Teachers help you to give placements. Students need to do internships externally by Internshala. One good thing is that they give us a Coursera account where you can watch many videos and get certificates.
Infrastructure: The college is still in a developing and constructing stage. There is no Wi-Fi in our college. Neither there are air-conditioners. The classrooms are somewhat old. The canteen is okay and I would rate it with 2 out of 5. The food served is good. We have good labs and a library. Sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Semesters are easy and if you study you can easily pass. Teachers help students in internal assessments. This course is affiliated with Mumbai University so it's the same. Teaching quality is also good and they explain all things but due to vast portion, they had to teach us fast.

Good placements and well-qualified faculty in the CSE course.
Placements: Students were getting good placement opportunities at this college. At this college, every year around 30 to 40% of the CSE graduates get placed. The average package offered in this college was between 3-4 LPA. Top recruiters at the college were IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mira, UBON, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for this CSE course at this institution were above average. Students were getting computer labs for programming and coding practice. Necessary facilities like Wi-Fi, library, canteen, sports, medical, etc., were available on the college campus. All these facilities were properly managed by the college management. Hostel facilities were also available for the students.
Faculty: The faculty of the CSE course at this institution was qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers were giving proper practical and theoretical knowledge to the students. Teachers at the college were experienced in the field of teaching. The course curriculum of our college was designed according to industry requirements, which makes the students industry-ready. Exams conducted at our college were not very hard to pass. Teachers were supportive and helped students in their internships and project work.
