Review of Shri Baba Mast Nath Engineering College.
Placements: It is hard to get placed from here. If you are lucky, then any company can select you, and it would be any local company. Don't expect much from here, and mostly, you will get placed through off-campus placements as per your skills. As it is not a highly reputed college, you have to be skilful to compete in the market.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, so I have no idea about hostels. But the boy's hostel building is very old, while the girl's hostel building is new. Other necessary infrastructural facilities are also available, but we don't get a chance to go to labs. Labs are available but not in very good conditions.
Faculty: For core engineering subjects, there are permanent teachers, but for other subjects like maths, physics, etc., there are no permanent teachers. So, our college invites guest teachers from other universities. Permanent teachers are friendly, and they will try to help you if you approach them for any problem.
Other: The campus is huge, and a lake is situated nearly 100 meters away from the campus. A huge temple similar to Akshardham temple of Delhi is under construction, and very soon it will be ready. Along with the lake, a small zoo is available. Around 1 km away from the campus, you will get India's hugest paratha and many more places to enjoy your campus life.

Overall, this college is not good.
Placements: There are no campus placements. I am in the 3rd of my B.Tech, but I haven't seen any company visiting this college for placements. There are no chances of industrial training, onsite projects or industrial tours. The college doesn't pass any notifications regarding placements or interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not up to the mark. Computer science engineering students don't need many facilities. Hence, computer science can be a good choice in this college if you want to take admission here. The other branches have nearly no infrastructure. Labs are empty, and the lab assistants are clueless about the machines and tools.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are quite good except for some teachers. All other teachers are good and have in-depth knowledge of their respective subjects. I like the friendly nature of teachers, but one cannot decide to join the college only based on that. We need labs, assistance and quality infrastructure. Hence, joining the college only for good faculty members is not a good choice. The fee structure is low indeed compared to other colleges in Rohtak. So, if the fee is the only issue, I think this college is the affordable one for engineering.
Other: There are no sports complexes in the college. There are no extracurricular activities. However, an NCC unit is available in this college, and the instructor is also very good. Students who need NCC can join this college.

I suggest you not to take admission in this college.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. There is a placement cell in the college, but it is not efficient. In the past 5-6 years, not even a single student get placed even in the local companies. It is just like a dream for the students to get placed in reputed companies. Students work hard to get internships, and the college doesn't even provide any internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is worse than government schools. There are no proper laboratories, medical facilities, proper drinking water and even washrooms. The college does not provide Wi-Fi facilities. The college provides the Wi-Fi facility only for the staff members, and also there are problems in connecting the Wi-Fi. They doesn't take any measures for uninterrupted electricity supply even in the summer season. The electrical equipment does not work properly.
Faculty: The faculty and the curriculum are not good, and there are no dedicated faculty members. Any faculty member teaches any of the subjects. One faculty member teaches 4-5 subjects, which is not good for students. The faculty members use old and traditional methods of teaching. They just read the books instead of explaining the concepts.

It's better to sit at home rather than getting admission in this college.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements or guidance for the students. From the past 3-4 years, no one got placement in the college. No company visited our college for placements. Even local companies didn't visit our college for any drive. We have a placement cell, but it is not useful.
Infrastructure: Our college has the worst infrastructure facilities. It lacks in every aspect. It does not have laboratories. There is no proper education provided by the college. Our college does not provide even the basic facilities like drinking water, electricity, washrooms, etc.
Faculty: The faculty of our college are incompetent to provide proper education and to answer the queries of students. There is no industry exposure provided by the college in any sense. The teaching methods implemented are old and insufficient.

The infrastructure is good, and the location is also good. The best thing is it has math.
Placements: The worse college in terms of placement. There are no core companies for the core students. The placements officer says to go for the companies, and if not, then they won't bring core as they are not here to provide the job. You are given money for the degree, but not for the job. If you want a job from this college, you will only get BPO jobs or IT related jobs. The college life is just awesome, and the best four years of anyone's life.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good. The classrooms are okay, there are some classes where they have benches like schools whereas there are some which have an elevated platform like in other colleges. The regular classrooms generally do not give the pleasure of reading and studying. The infrastructure is maintained well, and the labs are well maintained. The Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, but there are some spots on the campus where the Wi-Fi strength is weak and doesn't work well. The sports facilities are well available for the students.
Faculty: The faculty is good and bad as well. Most of the faculty members are knowledgeable whereas some are not. Since some teachers are not friendly to the students, they keep on blaming them for unnecessary reasons. The HODs are good and well mannered, but sometimes when they lose temper, they behave rudely with the students. Some teachers are very knowledgeable whereas some are not. The communication gap is often seen between the students and the teachers due to the ego of the teachers.
Other: The college is good. The infrastructure is good as well. The campus crowd is pretty much a problem, and so are the wild monkeys on the campus. The monkeys cannot be seen during the admission time but are generally seen any time of the visit other than the admission time. The campus crowd is generally of the local boys belonging to Faridabad. Not all are bad, but yes some are. They break the rules and other regulations on the campus but are saved because they have contacts with the faculty members. Sometimes, unnecessary charges like library dues are applied to a person without their knowledge.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of no practical knowledge nor skills being provided.
Placements: There are no placements from the college campus. No companies visit the college. No internship is provided. It is only a college. No knowledge is given to the students. There is no option for practical knowledge for the students, and this thing makes the students unemployed. It only provides a degree to the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities from this college are only a time waste. There is no Wi-Fi facility in the labs, classrooms or library. The library of this college is not that bad and also not that good because it provides only books. There is no proper sitting arrangement for the students to studies.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and qualified but are only theory based and not practical. Their teaching quality was average not best. Their teaching methods were blackboard, discussion and presentations. The student to faculty ratio was 12:1. I didn't get any industry exposure.
Other: Diwali is the festival that is celebrated in this college.
