One of the best colleges.
Placements: There are many good companies of both software and hardware visiting our SDM college to hire students in large numbers. We have 60-70% placements rate in our college, which has separate guidance.
Infrastructure: Course infrastructure is good with all the facilities and requirements available. The hostel has sufficient space and we have separate study tables for students. The food provided in the hostel is healthy and keeps us strong.
Faculty: The faculty is good enough to provide all the information about the subjects. Curriculum and exams go with separate calendars made in the starting of the semester, and events are happening. You will get a good chance to participate in all the events which helps to get confidence in our passion.

Good infrastructure and green campus, but not satisfied with teachers, administration, and syllabus.
Placements: Around 30% of students are getting placed but it's still the start of our final year so we are expecting more to go.
The highest package for now is 11.5 LPA, the lowest is 3.6 LPA, and the average is around 8 LPA.
London Stock Exchange is the top recruiter.
70% of the students got their internships through referrals and the selection process.
SDE , backend engineer, GET, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The college has WiFi, good ambience, an indoor stadium, temple , library, study room, labs, etc.
Canteen serves pretty good food.
The college competes in intercollegiate and VTU matches, has an indoor gym, WiFi throughout the campus inside building , and every medical need is attended to by SDM Medical College. It has a big ground for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and qualified but we expect more knowledge of recent technology and they need to update themselves.
No, the course is not relevant. VTU makes the worst syllabus ever and you never can understand its intention.
Pass percentage is 40% and semester ends are pretty difficult but manageable.
Other: I love computer and coding so I chose this branch.
I hate the education system as whole so it's not about college but the syllabus needs to be updated, and so do teachers.
Scholarships are applicable. We have the best fests and highest frequency of fests in the city.

Totally to sum it up it's a great college and overall an experience for a lifetime.
Placements: This college has a good placement record from past few years. Top companies like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS just to name a few and many more top companies also come to this campus. In the year 22-23 9 students we're selected to a ger-man based company. It finally depends on students if you ask.
Infrastructure: This college has a free Wi-Fi in class and as well as in the hostel. The classes are well maintained the food is South INdian but good. There are events and sports conducted every year. The wardens are a little bit strict but it's only temporary as you go.
Faculty: All the teachers are either Ph.D. holders or are pursuing Ph.D. The teaching here is top notch no cap but you don't have to do self study and all case the teaching is amazing. It is an autonomous college so the portions are from here itself and it is affiliated to vtu so you get the degree from vtu.

A college with all the things and with lots of greenery.
Placements: All the students offered good roles in SDMCET, some like circuit designers, software developers and many more, and all my seniors got placed in good companies with good roles and better roles at the young ages and some got placed in IT companies.
Infrastructure: All facilities are very interested in teaching students and they are making us more confident in the subjects they are handling and they convey the concepts in a very easy way. In SDMCET, we have well-equipped classrooms and a library too. We also have a good-speed Wi-Fi connection and the hostel food is amazing. The hostel has good rooms and we have all sports events in the college and all the equipment required for playing. We also have good medical facilities at the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified in SDMCET; we will get a greater number of Ph.D. holders in my department or course and the majority of teachers have experience spanning more than 14 to 15 years. Teaching quality is very good and better.
100% of the course curriculum is relevant to the course. All teachers are making their efforts to make the students industry-ready; they are getting success in that and my semester exams are not too difficult; they are quite easy for me because my teacher's teaching method is like that and the passing percentage was above 80% in the last semester.
Other: I had chosen this course because my interest was in building systems that are related to electrical and electronics. The best thing about this course is that we can control air pollution by building electrical vehicles, and we can build new systems for the nation.
The thing I wish to be better at or improve on is learning computer languages.
Events will be conducted in good numbers at my college.
We have Fest-a, insignia-like events in SDMCET.
They are very interested in conducting extracurricular activities but I am not interested in them.
I got an INR 20,000 scholarship.

A quick review of the engineering college.
Placements: Almost 40-50% of students were placed in the mechanical course. The highest package was 15 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Bosch, Daimler, Mercedes Benz, and Infosys. I don't have information about internships. The top roles are HR, account manager, and head of some companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good, with a wide variety of books available in our library. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained. Wi-Fi facilities are also available for students and staff. The lab is clean and well-equipped with machines. Hostel facilities are quite good. The quality of food is average in the canteen and moderate in the mess. Emergency medical facilities are available. Sports like cricket, tennis, table tennis, badminton, and other indoor games are practiced.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, with better degrees like Ph.D. and BE. The teaching quality is very good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. It almost makes the students industry-ready. Semester examinations are quite difficult in our college. The pass percentage is 40 out of 100.
Other: I was interested in mechanical engineering and this college is near my native place. The best things about my college are that we can experience the industry and other real-life applications. There are two events annually: one is Insignia, which is held in the month of March, and the other is Fiesta, which is held in the month of November. Scholarship facilities are available for reserved students and OBC students. Extracurricular activities are less practiced.
