SDM College of Engineering and Technology Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Dharwad

Placements: Placement started in starting of 7th semester with 2 companies visiting on 1st day. In total 75 companies visited with more 400 students getting placed out of 450. The salary range was 2.75 LPA to 14 LPA. Some of the companies were KPIT, Oracle, Manhattan Associates, Goldman Sachs, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Persistent System LTD.

Placements: Placement is good. Many good companies choose to campus but many a time priority are given to locals. Very few placement activities are held. But it gives more training that helps students to get placed easily outside also if not get incapus selection. In my batch, in my dept around 90 student were placed from 110 eligible students. In civil placement is very poor. In mechanical also its average. But for ECE, CS and is. Its quite good. But 90% of placement are in IT sector only.

Placements: Placement is very good. There is more than 25+ company (like Dell, emphasis, Robert bosch, TCS, Mindcraft, Oracle, Sony, KPIT, Tek System, Informatica etc.). Visiting for placement. College provides very good opportunity for students and acts as first building block step for students in IT world.

Placements: It was good as compared to other colleges. Many companies visited during my time like TCS, kpit, Samsung, y media lab, golmensech, Sony etc. Robert Bosch had a building for placement and training building inside the college campus. This is plus point for mechanical branches. Even pool CPUs hiring facility is available. College is arranging placement and training facility. In short, placement is good for this college.

Placements: The placements here are good but not so good as compared to the last 2 to 3 years as the market was down in the IT industry. But the major companies do visit our college like Sony, HP, Dell, etc., where the students of various branches get selected if they are up to the mark. When mass recruitment is taken into consideration, TCS visit's us. The statistics are not bad. At least 50% of the students have been placed in various companies with a minimum package of 2.5 LPA, and the maximum up to 14 L...

Placements: Placements are good. Less number of companies for non IT. Core companies such as Dell, Sony, etc. visit our campus for placements. TCS visits for mass recruitments. Placement records are comparatively getting low every year for the past 4 years. However, pool placements are available.

Placements: Around 400-450 students were placed in my batch in which about 300 students were placed in TCS only. The average salary package offered is about 3.5 LPA. Many good companies like Dell, Tech Mahindra, TCS, KPIT, etc., came for placements. In my batch, two students were placed for a package of 14 LPA.

Placements: There is a placement cell. Company visited = TCS, SONY, Tech Mahindra Students placed = 80 out of 100 The highest salary offered = 12lakhs per year The lowest salary offered = 4lakhs per year Roles offered = software testing, development Placement cell provides training related to placement for the final years.

Placements: The placement are very good with good packages. Every year they are providing 90-95 percentage of placements, but they provide same companies every year. So students get upset with the placements. Otherwise, the placement ratio on the campus is good every year. The placement officer provides a vacation training every year. Overall, we have a good campus drive.

Placements: Although we don't get many civil companies to be get placed in this college, and we have some couple of placement opportunities, where the companies were recognisable. I'm happy to be the student of Shree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College.

Placements: The placement was excellent for our senior batches. Minimum 70 percent of students will be placed. The highest salary is 9 lacs per annum, and the lowest is 3.5 lacs per annum. The companies are like TCS, Wipro, Global, Oracle and many companies visited our college. Minimum 50 percent of the students got the internship in our college. It is fully useful and knowledgeable.

Placements: In 2018, there was an increase in the number of students getting placed and also in the number of companies that come. This year, the average package was 5-6LPA. Intel, Informatica, TEK Systems, Lam Research, Nokia, Emphasis, CrimsonLogic, Oracle, Tata Hitachi, Cadence, Continental, HSBC, Shriram Finance, TCS, KPIT, Sankalp Semiconductors, and Minecraft are the companies to name some.

Placements: The placements for electronics and communication branch are good with approximately 70-75% of the students getting placed with an average package of around Rs. 4.25 Lacs per annum. Many companies visit this campus. However, in CSE and ISE branches, placements are much better. They have a placement percentage of around 85%. The highest package offered is Rs. 14 Lacs per annum.

Placements: The placements offered in the college are good for CS, ISE, and ECE branches. The salary package goes around 13-14 LPA. Every year, the companies like Dell, Sony, Nokia, Oracle, HP, and HCL visit the campus to recruit the students, but for the core branches, the placements are not good. Only 5-10% of the students got placed in core companies, and the other people have to join in IT companies.

Placements: There are 100 ways to achieve 1 goal. Many Top IT companies market visited our college. 80% people were placed. The college placement cell is simply supportive. HOD of Information Science and engineering is a very helpful person. Nokia, Walmart, Informatica, Oracle, Dell visited our campus for recruitment.

Placements: The placements are not that good for the core branches, and only a little percentage of the students get placed every year. 20%-30% of the guys get placed in the IT companies like TCS, etc. The average package is around 2.4 LPA, and only 2-3 students out of whole mechanical branch every year gets placed in the core companies.

Placements: For the seniors, it was not good, but for the 2016 batch, a lot of companies had come here, especially for the IT Sector like TCS, PSPL, Oracle, Kpit, Sony, Webonoise, Hashdene, MuSigma, Mindcraft, Robosoft, Manhattan, Mindtree, Tata Technology and many such. I am in TCS in which I got placement from the college.

Placements: I completed the civil engineering at that college. There are no placements for the civil branch. We had an option to attend the interviews for IT company. But the civil placements are a few. You can try IT companies if you wish to change your stream.

Placements: The placement for the batch was around 60% and for our senior batch was around 65%. The lowest salary package for our batch is 2 LPA, and the highest is around 10 LPA. The company visited the college are TCS, DELL, HP, Oracle, KPIT Sankalp, Brillio, MindTree, Prime Focus, etc. The roles offered to the students are a developer, tester, support, etc. The internship offered was very low in the college.

Placements: The placements offered in the college are awesome. Every year, the companies like Sony, Dell, Nokia, etc. visit the college and the average package offered is around 4.25 lacs per annum. Also, many students get the packages of more than 10 lacs per annum. The internships scenario in the college is also good however there are fewer placements in the core branches.
