It is an awesome college with good placements.

Placements: College Campus placements are good, in my department (information science branch). 80% to 85% students get placed every year with an average package of 4.25 LPA to 5.25 LPA. Also, the highest package offered in the campus placements goes up to 13 LPA to 15 LPA. So, overall, the college placements are very good.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and no help regarding extracurricular activities.

Placements: The placement is good, but not up to the mark as compared to last 3-4 years placement. The highest salary offered is 7-8 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Nokia, TCS, Mind Tree, Oracle, Sony are the companies that visit. 40% of the students were placed which is not good for the students. There are pool campus placements also.

All about the SDMCET MBA facilities.

Placements: Around, 25-30% of the students got placed in the last batch, but this time we are expecting more placements for us. A few students from our batch are already got placed in some of the companies. Comparatively fewer placements and 100% of them have got internships. The placements should improve on the campus for the students.

Extremely good college for all the branches

Placements: Placements are very good in the college with companies like Goldman Sachs, TCS, KPIT, AEQUS, Mindtree, etc. The students are given special classes on how to face the interview and all the things needed during the placements. The training and placement section is very supportive.

over all a best academic institute for higher education, job activites.

Placements: Before talking about placements in any college, students must maintain at least of 60% of the average grade from 10th to degree. The companies like Intel, TCS, KPIT, Oracle, Samsung Rnd, Minecraft etc. visit https://sdmcet.ac.in/placements/ for more details. Good and early training is provided for students. The students are subjected to online placement activities like pool campus, campus drive from VTU Belgavan. The placement activities from Masters degree batch is 70% and rest in teaching fiel...

Life in my SDMCET college

Placements: The placement department gives a lot of support to place in the corporates by organizing various personality development classes, guest lectures, industry oriented training and bring class companies for placements only for IT sectors, but for the civil department, no placement is being supported.

The facilities in the college are good, but the faculty in our branch is not good.

Placements: The placements are good here. The highest package is 14 lakhs per annum, which was offered by Goldman Sachs co. for 2 students. About 40-55 companies visit our college every year. In 2015-16, approximately 430 students got placed. For more information log on to: https://sdmcet.ac.in/placements/.

The infrastructure is good and even faculty, for better learning.

Placements: The placements are well in this college. 89% of the students were placed. The highest and lowest salaries are Rs. 24,00,000 per annum and Rs. 3,00,000 per annum. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc., have appeared in our college to hire the students. About 30% of the students got an internship from our college.

Brief introduction about SDM college of engineering and technology.

Placements: The placement opportunities are awesome at SDM college. Near 70% of the students will get placed every year. In the case of the civil branch, it's only 5 to 10%. The teaching quality is unspeakable in civil department. All teachers are PhD holders. Some of them are alumni of the same college.

Poor faculty and management with a steep decline in placements as well, choose wisely.

Placements: The placements have declined by a quarter, but we expect an arise by the same quarter this year. The highest salary was more than Rs. 13,00,000 lakhs per annum and the average salary was Rs. 3,45,000. The companies like Sony has visited our campus but not recruited any students due to the lack of technical skills in students. Amazon offered a few internships with Rs. 25,000 per month as a stipend and a recommendation letter.

Privileged to be a student of SDM- Let's grow together

Placements: Placements during our batch were not so impressive for non-IT courses. However, a few companies did visit for IT, EC and CS. The placement team must network with organizations, build rapport to support the placement drive. They must also conduct mock interviews and counselling sessions.

Excellent infrastructure and good faculty for the batch of 2014, although placements were terrible

Placements: Placements for my batch were not really great. It could be around 50%. The highest package offered for a mechanical engineering graduate was 5.3 lakhs per annum and the average was around 2.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like FMC Technologies, Aequs and TCS visited our campus for recruitment. Almost all the recruits were offered Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) roles. A few of them got associate engineering roles. Internship offers were very rare or less.

Awesome ambience, decent placements, great infrastructure

Placements: The average placement package is around 4.5 lacs for CS branch. The highest, however, has gone to 16 lacs in the previous year. Top companies like Bosch, Oracle, Microsoft, TCS, etc. come for placements. The intake for top companies is a handful. But most students are placed with companies like TCS and Cognizant who recruit in bulk.

SDM College is really good when it comes to infrastructure and curriculum. Placements are average.

Placements: The placements are extremely good for IT branches like CSE and ISE. For core branches like ECE and EEE, only a few companies visit for recruitment. For mechanical, civil, and chemical, the placement rate is very low because core companies hardly visit. TCS is the mass recruiter for the college. It recruits from almost all the branches. Almost 60% of the students get placed every year. The highest package offered till date is 13.87 lacs by Walmart Labs. The lowest packages is 2.5 lacs by Mphasis....

The best place to learn and have fun

Placements: Excellent placements. 75% of 2015 batch students got placed A good package is provided to the students. Still, they need to increase the placement percentage. Enough IT companies to come for campus selections. The number of core companies needs to be increased. Good training sessions for placements are provided to students to make students capable to get into the corporate world. Outside, the best faculty members are hired for placement training.

Not is worth spending 4 years in Dharwad.

Placements: The placements for my batch were not at all satisfactory, especially for the core branches. Companies like L&T, ACC Cements, TCS, Accenture, Akamai, etc. came for placements. Only the top ranking students of my branch were placed in L&T. Companies like ACC Cements only selected local students. The senior batch's placement records were far better than my batch's as almost 70-80% of the senior batch was placed. Placements: Very less placement for the mechanical engineering department. Only 5 to 6 students get placed in core companies. The remaining students will have to search for placements off-campus. This is only the case for mechanical engineering. For other IT branches, the placement is good. 90% of the students get placed. Only mechanical and civil students wouldn't get placed. Knowledge-wise, placement-wise, this college is a good choice.

Placements: Our seniors got a very good number of placements in reputed companies and our batch also got a very good number of placements. Our college is listed among the top ten colleges in Karnataka popularity wise. The Bengaluru Times listed SDMCET as the top 9th college in Karnataka whose seats filled up very fast.

Placements: The placements were a bit good. I don't know the exact numbers or in percent that how many got selected but it was a good number of placements that took place in my college. Approximately 300-350 students were selected out of 600 students. The highest package was 6.5 LPA and the lowest was 2.25 LPA.
