It is a good place to study peacefully.

Placements: Placements are not good here for all branches except for CS and IT. If you get admission in any other branch except for CS and IT, then you have to start competing in coding and have to be in the top position in coding. Otherwise, at last, you will start preparing for GATE exam, and later, you will start preparing for coding.

Average college. Curriculum and labs need improvement.

Placements: Placements for Mechanical branch are average. The highest package is around 8 Lacs with Schlumberger as top recruiter. Placement percent is low around 30% because most students opt for higher studies. Internships come in 3rd year which are helpful for us. IP branch has a higher placement average than mechanical.

Our college is good with great faculty members.

Placements: Placements are good for CS and IT fields. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, etc., visit our college for CS and IT course placements. Placements in the civil engineering course are average, but it needs to improve a lot. A top role offered to the students is a software trainee engineer.

Placements are not as good as IIT but are far better than the private institutions.Great campus life

Placements: 100 percent of placements in our branch in the last session. The highest package offered was 22Lakhs per annum with an average package of around 10 Lacs per annum. About the lowest package I don't know the exact figures but it must have been around 4 Lacs per annum.

I am dissatisfied because of teachers as their behaviour is not that good.

Placements: Our college is known for placements, and there are good opportunities for placements. Seniors are placed at good companies, so there are no worries for placements. Companies which come for placements are very good. There is a flaw in placement cell that they don't give a clear idea about an internship for students who are detained due to family issues or something.

If you are in civil stream, better opt for government services.

Placements: Mainly placements are provided for, CS and IT. These companies often hire undergrads from EC and EI too. Placement rate of civil students is extremely low. Usually, civil undergrads opt for GATE IES and other government jobs. Exams crowd here goes for that. For an internship, you have to search on your own.

Overall, I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: In my knowledge, around 80% of students get placement in the institution. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. I think in the third year, about 30% of the students get an internship at the college.

The faculty members are good in every branch, placements are also good.

Placements: The companies which come for campus placement or internship are very less. The package offered for fresher is upto 4 Lacs. The top recruiting company in our sector is LnT and prism cement. We are trying to bring more of the core companies to help the students so that they can get good industrial exposure.

It is a good college for bachelor's degree.

Placements: I don't know much about the placement statistics of our college, but I am pretty sure that our college has fairly good placement statistics. The training and placement cell is also active, and proper orientation classes are held regularly to provide insight into placement related activities.

A decent choice, but not one to die for. Education quality and college life is good.

Placements: The packages offered are significantly good. Our course has a good track record in placements. Giants like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Accenture are frequent visitors. On average you can expect around 5 - 6 LPA CTC. Maximum package reaches around 15 LPA.

The college has been glorified for years, but if they do not act, others will surpass it.

Placements: Placements are specially provided for CS and IT branches. A lot of top companies visit our campus for placements. They offer rokes like an analyst, software engineer, data analyst, etc.

I suggest choosing the branch wisely in case of placements.

Placements: In the information technology branch as per previous placement records, there are good placements, and mostly all the students of the batch got placed in previous years. Reputed companies visit here for placements for computer science and information technology branches mainly.

Placements: 70 percent of the students are placed from SGSITS. Almost all the CS IT students are placed with an average package of 4 Lacs. As far as core branches are concerned placement in core companies are comparatively less with an average amount of 4 Lacs .

Happy to have amazing moments in my college, clubs, grounds, hostel. I want to live them all again.

Placements: In my batch, approximately 30-40% guys from Mechanical were placed. Core companies are less. ( Maybe due to automobile industry slowdown). The highest 9.4 LPA - Trident India, the lowest 2.4 LPA - Path highways. Top recruiters are Asian paints, trident, VECV, Reliance retail, Crompton greaves, VEDANTA, Pratibha syntax, Caparo, RGWL, etc. No body gets paid internship and everyone goes for trainings on connection basis. GET is the role offered always to us in mechanical engineering.

Placements: Few students get placed in a core branch at a civil work-based company with a good salary package. Moreover, students who want to get placed are helped by coding companies and bulk recruiters. The highest salary offered was 1.6 lac per month by Goldman Sachs and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 26,000 per month by Cognizant.
