It is one the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh, with a very good placement record.

Placements: We definitely have a placement cell in our college. It is hard to get paid internships, but you do get internships of 2 to 3 months, where you will get exposure to company work, but if you have luck, you may get the stipend as well. The placement for our batch was good, companies like SAP Labs, Amdocs, Barclays, Microsoft, Infosys, Cognizant, Ittiam, Persistence, Wipro, Systango, Snapdeal, CSC etc. visited, with a salary ranging from 3.25 LPA to 8.25 LPA. The roles offered were mostly developmen...

Overall, the college is awesome. They provide every kind of support to the students.

Placements: There is good placement cell, and they provide good placements and internship too. If I talk about my batch, the college TPO contacted Cummins for the M.Tech internship, then we got an internship at Cummins India Limited, Pune, for 10 months and after M.Tech completion, three girls got a confirmed job there. Now I am working as a product engineer ( In the technical profile they call them a product engineer, and if compared to the plant level it is equivalent to the manager level). We were also o...

Extremely satisfied with all the facilities.

Placements: The placements from my batch were very good. Most of the students got placed in various multinational companies. The placement cell is also quite dedicated. There are various big multinational companies that come in the final year for the recruitment of the students.

The best college for engineering in Madhya Pradesh.

Placements: In the term of placement, the college is good. Many companies come here for placement here, and almost 90% of the guys will be placed before completion of their degree. CS & IT are the best branches for placement purpose. The mechanical and IP are the branches which get good placements.

I am very much satisfied with this college as compared to my friend who is in NIT Srinagar.

Placements: In this college, the placements are better than most of the NITs because it has the best alumni network. The placement of computer engineering/information technology is a bit higher. The average salary offered for computer science/IT students is 15 LPA to 16 LPA, and for other core branches like electrical, civil and mechanical, it is about 8 LPA to 9 LPA. The placement ratio is higher in this college. Also, it is the most reputed college in all over India and Madhya Pradesh. It is the best stat...

One of the best engineering colleges in terms of ROI.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Instrumentation as a branch should be preferred because software companies and core companies both prefer the students. The course is not that rigorous, and so one can prepare for CAT or GATE exam as well. The competition for GATE is also very less, and many students of GS from EI branch do excellently well in GATE (many ranks under 100).

The best government college in Madhya Pradesh.

Placements: SGSITS has shown a great placement record over the years. Many big brands visit the campus for recruitment. Microsoft, Ford India, Asian Paints, SAP, Accenture, Adani, Aditya Birla Group, Barclays and ITC recruit the students at handsome packages. Internships are also offered to the students from the likes of Goldman Sachs and other big brands. The T&P cell is highly efficient, so placement is not a concern here at SGSITS.

Satisfactory placement with good environment and supportive faculty

Placements: It's a government college with experienced faculty members, so placement is better here than other colleges in Madhya Pradesh. It is a college which is maintaining discipline nicely. Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college premises and if found, severe actions are taken.

Placements: The placements for our batch were good. If I talk about all the branches, almost 90%-95% students got placed. In the mechanical branch, 90% students got placed in spite of the fact that market condition was not good in terms of core jobs profile. It took a little long to get the students placed but by the end, maximum students got placed. The highest package in the mechanical branch was 9 lakhs and the average was 4 lakhs. Great value for money, but the college infrastructure could be better

Placements: The placements at SGSITS Indore have always been good. Core companies from all fields visit the campus for placements. The college is able to place more than 80% of the students every year, which is great as per the sector standards. The average package hovers around 5 LPA with the highest package of round 12 LPA. The list of companies visiting is long, but Microsoft, Deloitte, Mahindra, VECV, L&T, Fiserv, ZS Associates, etc. are some of the big recruiters. Generally, GET profile is offered at e...

Placements: Above 75% students get placed in various companies including IT sector and respective technology domains. Each student who qualified criteria for campus drive, gets around 6-7 companies to apply for job opportunities. Before coming to the final year of the course, one can go for various technical or non-technical internships in which college helps a lot in making the right selection.

The average package goes around 5 lakhs per year. 80% of the college students got placed while the highest package was around 20 lakhs and the lowest is around 3 lakhs. Placements: The training and placement cell is working hard to get core companies to the college. A few years back, companies like L&T used to come to the college. In the year 2016, 29 students were placed with the highest package of 9 lacks. The average package offered to the students is 3-4 lakhs. Satisfied with the faculty and the infrastructure. But the placements are a reason to worry about.

Placements: Placements are not very good. But you can get an average package of 4 lakhs/annum. Core companies of CSE, IT, mechanical, and electrical visit the campus. Rest branches students got placed only in software companies like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. Basically, only CS, IT, and EC students get placed in bulk i.e. approx 70-80%.
