Priority after some IITS and NITS.

Placements: Our college has a trend of giving decent placements. Being one of the oldest government college of madhya pradesh . It is highly reputated. Average package is around 7-8 LPA. The most reputed institute in Central India

Electrical engineering in SGSITS

Placements: I am one of the many students who has been placed in MNCs. The college has provided us with the atmosphere where at the same time, we are competitive and helpful to each other. The companies which have made a visit up to now are: - Ittiam - Mu Sigma - Asian Paints - SAP Labs - Deloitte - Infosys - Vedanta Resources The highest package was 10.2 LPA in SAP and the lowest was 3.15 LPA in Capgemini. The average package is 3.67 LPA. The number of students who are placed is 40 out of 60 at the end ...

Worth for gaining knowledge and enhancing your capabilities.

Placements: The placement record is good, especially for our senior batch'2018. Around 100 companies visited the campus with the highest placement package of Rs. 9.25 LPA for IT, CSE and the other branches. Day-1 companies also visited and hired around 25 students and the average package offered was around Rs. 5.5 LPA, the renowned companies like OPTUM and Goldman Sachs also visited for interns as well as the full-time recruitments. Overall this time the placement went well with 40% students being selected ...

It has lost its good old charm and reputation

Placements: Placements this year have been a tad less than previous years. This may be due to market situation as even a mass recruiting company (can't name it) has hired only around 40 this year. While last year, it recruited around 100 students. One good thing is that SGSITS has got a strong alumni base which is why multinational companies come here with internship offers.

The best state-level college in Madhya Pradesh for engineering

Placements: Students of SGSITS secure good placements. Most of the students of the branches CS, IT and EC get placed in IT companies like Infosys, Wipro and Accenture. Microsoft also comes to the campus and offers a package of 12-13 lakhs. Well-known companies like SAP, Deloitte and Mu Sigma also come for placements and provide good packages. There are also core companies coming to the campus for mechanical, industrial production, electrical and civil students.

Satisfied with the placement but not with the way teachers teach us and give sessionals to us

Placements: Placements of our batch and our senior batch are very good. 90% were placed. The highest salary was 10 Lakh per annum, the lowest was 3.2 lakhs and the average was 5 lakhs per annum. Many companies visited the campus such as Ittiam, Sap Labs, Cognizant, World Pay, Mu Sigma, principal, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, Persistent and Addverb. Roles offered were software developer, analyst and software trainee. Very few students got the internship from the college may be up to 5%. The highest stipend offe...

A good college with a great history but in need of improvements

Placements: Around 70% of the eligible students were placed from my batch of biomedical students. However, the students were eligible to be part of only one company viz., Infosys Limited. The overall placement of the college was okay with the majority of students getting placed on campus. A number of good companies came for recruitment including the software giant - Microsoft, Deloitte, MuSigma, Asian paints, L&T, and mass recruiters like Infosys, Capgemini etc. In regards to BM, not even one company of the...

Placements: Average placements for the mechanical batch and the package was around 3.5 LPA for me and my senior batch. Approximately 75% students got placed. The highest package offered was 9 LPA by Trident and the lowest was 2.8 LPA. The role offered was graduate engineer trainee. Major recruiters were Mahindra, VECV, John Deere, Tata Tech, Vedanta and Minda. Only self-internships were done.

One of the best institutions in Madhya Pradesh located in the heart of Indore city.

Placements: The placements were decent. Many one day companies visited our campus along with a few prominent companies which offered very good packages. The average package in our college was Rs. 3-4 lakhs per annum. Cognizant, Infosys, Mu-Sigma, Mahindra, Microsoft, etc. also visited our campus.

Amazing learning opportunities, good crowd, rejuvenating place. Contended with college life.

Placements: This year, the placements in the college were quite good. The highest package offered this year was 8.75 lpa to an IT student by ITIAM company. Many students got placed in good companies like Musigma, Wipro, Cognizant, Suzuki, Infosys, Xlri, etc. The TPO of the college provides plentiful opportunities to the students by calling up various companies on campus. Though big companies like Microsoft used to come a few years back in the college, they aren't recruiting anybody since 2-3 years. ...

Satisfied because of placements.

Placements: Placements in biomedical engineering from SGSITS are pretty good. If you can maintain an average pointer, you can get an average package from the campus selection. This year (2017), 5 students were placed in FMI company with the package of 4.5 lpa each. The placement is about 100% from this branch. (100% placements means the students who were eligible to sit in the interview got placed). Last year's highest package (18 lpa) from the college was from BME only. ...

Okay faculty and cut throat competition.

Placements: Placements for CS and IT branch are above average. The other branches have to search and put in extra efforts. EC and EI placements are also fine. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Honda and Future First are some of the shining names that pick up students from GSITS. The on paper placement for CS, IT and EC is 90-100% but the reality is that most of the bright minds opt for higher education (GRE, GATE, CAT). Top ranks in these exams are bagged by the students of SGSITS. ...

Placements: The placement percentage of SGSITS in the year 2015-16 was very good. More than 1,000 students were placed in that year in which 95% of the total SGSITS students were sitting in the job interview. The average package lies between 3-5 lakh per annum and the highest placed package was 12.5 lakhs per annum which was quite a handsome amount.

Placements: Placements are not a big issue here. Good companies visit to offer placement such as Deloitte, Snapdeal, etc. and they offer decent packages. The institute has an active and efficient training and placement office.

Being at SGSITS is better than good.

Placements: SGSITS Indore is a good college in terms of placements. Many good MNCs come to this college for campus selection. The placements for mechanical, CST and IT are much better than for other branches but other branches do have good placements. The highest package for my branch i.e. EI was 10 lakh per annum. But there is a race for being placed in companies which offer high packages. Apart from that, companies that recruit in bulk usually get around 60% of the students placed. ...

Placements: Senior batches' placements are quite satisfactory. 70% of students were placed. The highest package was in Mu Sigma, SAP Labs and IITiam at around 10 lacs. There are almost all one-day companies visiting our college. But you will not find dream companies like Google, Microsoft and Facebook. You have to compromise so much if you dream for very large improvement means high packages and opportunities if you think for the better career. If you are an IT student, then nothing to do in the classes you...

Placements: The placement section of the college has been through its several ups and downs. There are various core companies in the branch of computer science like Ittiam, Cognizant etc. which offered a great salary of about 7-10 lacs per annum while there are certain day-one companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro which offered an average salary of about 3-5 lacs per annum. Placements: Placements here are above good. The only concern is that core companies do not visit often and most of the people go towards IT sector. In mechanical branch, there are lots of company visiting the college as well as for the CS and IT branch. But for EC, EI and CE, you can not expect much.
