Absolutely dissatisfied with the sessional marking system. Good placement.

Placements: The placement is good. The average package for last year was 4-5 lacs and the highest package from the college is 9.2 lacs. Many companies including TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Saplab, Deloitte etc. visit our college and provide placement to various other college students. Also teaching institutes like Akash visit our college and hire the students for teaching.

Good institute where you can learn and can get a decent placement.

Placements: Placements are good for core branches. 80%-90% batch get placed. The major companies coming for recruitment are Adobe, Eicher, Asian Paints, Force Motors, Infosys, Wipro, Honda and many more. The average package here is in between 4-5 LPA. If you are from CS/IT/ mechanical branch, then you will get a good placement in a core stream. Apart from this, almost every student here has more than one job offer.

Satisfactory faculty, very good placement in the year 2016 , good infrastructure and facility etc.

Placements: As far as placement is concerned in SGSITS, overall it is above average. But in information technology and computer branch, it is good. The percentage of students who got placed per year is near about 65% but in IT and CS branch, it is more than 80%. The highest and lowest salary offered by the company is 10 lac per annum and 3.25 lac per annum respectively. There are many companies which visit like Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, Sap Labs, Ittiam, Deloitte, Futures First, Asian Paint...

Good placements and excellent faculty.

Placements: More than 50% students get placed, and the ratio of placements is better in non-core branches than in core branches. 400 placements take place every year, but this year, there is a shortage of placements due to the economic recession. The highest salary was 12 lakhs per annum, the lowest is 3.2 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 lakhs. Wipro, Infosys, Tata Tech, Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, Ithium, Deloitte, Shakti Pump, Capgemini, Cognizant etc are the companies which visited the campus. Vari...

Satisfied with the quality of education I received, good infrastructure and friendly faculties.

Placements: Placements for the batch were below par. Total 40 students (around 100 students sat for placements) of civil engineering batch got placements in Day-1 companies, out of which 27 were placed in Infosys, 5 in Cognizant, 1 in Mu Sigma and around 10 - 15 people in Wipro. Companies which visit SGSITS for placements are- Core- 1. Saint Gobain (GET) 2. Agarwal Builders (GET) 3. L&T (GET) 4. Parth Construction (GET) 5. Adobe 6. Deloitte 7. Asian Paints 8. Trident 9. Electrical Engineering at SGSITS college.

Placements: I'm a pre-final year student. The companies that visited for placement are- Asian Paints, Fiat, Honda, Suzuki, Vedanta, Future First, Zykus and Delloite. For internship, the company was either Volvo or Ethium. The average package is 3 lakhs, offered by companies like Infosys etc., while in core companies you will get above 6 lakhs. Asian Paints offers 7.5 lakhs.

A good college, can learn more from colleges like NIT, IIT so as to rank itself up.

Placements: The placement sessions depend on the past record of the rate of students joining and leaving the company in a particular period. SGSITS, Indore had a good number of placements in 2016 as compared to 2015, with increased average salary. Out of 800, 650 got placed approximately in our batch with offers more than 1100. Companies that visited were mostly branch specific. ME - Tata, Mahindra, Asian Paints, VE, Balco. IP - Trident Group, TCS, Infy, Capgemini, Musigma etc. CS/IT - SAP, IITIAM, Deloitt...

good placements in 2015, i am satisfies with the college

Placements: The placements were quite good as so many of the seniors were placed. Some of them were even placed in Asian Paints and Wipro VLSI which have given a package of 8-9 lakhs. 70% of students were placed. The companies included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte. The internship percentage is less as students who got internships were less in number. Most of them did internships which were unpaid.

In 2017, the placements are good along with the qualified faculty members.

Placements: In electrical engineering, you will surely get placed if you are maintaining average pointers of 6 and all your education, i.e., 10th and 12th are above 60%. To get a good placement, just like any other college you need to get some other skills along with the degree. Almost, 40% of the students get into the good companies.

Choose GSIMR with some objective. My views will change your way of thinking about MBA.

Placements: No big companies comes for campus placement but one can start with the SMEs coming to the college for placement and these companies are good for learning and understanding Indore market. Though the placement cell provides you many opportunities but not in MNCs. Actually, this institute can provide you the facilities and resource only, and by using these resources one can place himself/herself by his/her own effort, which is again a great experience. As this is not a private college, it belongs t...

Placements: The college SGSITS is famous for its decent placement percentage. Except the civil engineering and mechanical engineering branches, in all other branches, the placement percentage was more than 75% (in 2015-16). The companies like Deloitte, Mu-sigma, Vedanta, Ittiam, SAP Labs, Capgemini, Asian Paints, Indian Steel and many more renowned companies visit the campus almost every year for placing the students. The three categories I will be talking about the college will be: 1. Infrastructure- It is situated in the centre of the city, is in an area of about 85000 sq. km. The campus of the institute has amenities like a co-operative store, a dispensary, a bank, a canteen, a staff quarters, hostels, a gymnasium, a sports complex, etc. Very soon, there will be a post office inside the campus as well. 2. Placements- One of the best qualities of this college is that it has got an ample number of placement...

Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science is a top-ranked college of Madhya Pradesh and is one of the oldest colleges in the state. It has always maintained its legacy among the top colleges. Although the infrastructure is not so good and exposure for the students is less, the faculties are great and very experienced. The placement here has always been fair enough. Top engineering recruiters always show their presence during placements. Basic facilities like canteen, library, ...

Infrastructure: The college is weak on this front. It has old buildings and being in the middle of the city, very less space. It has been built on a space of 33 acres only. However, they are trying to improve it by erecting new buildings but again, lack of free land in college comes against it. Faculties: This is one of the strongest points for the college. The college has some really great and experienced faculty members. Almost all professors are either Ph.D. holders or are pursuing it. Some ...

Faculties are excellent in giving knowledge to students and keep them motivating. Labs are renovating so definitely this will again bring back the expert lab experience for students.

Pros - The library is full of rich knowledgeable books and the central workshop is organized. The staff is well qualified. It's located in one of the prime areas of the city so easy connectivity. Ig promotes extra cultural activities also. Cons - the college lacks proper sanitary facilities. Due to a lot of reservation the campus crowd is mediocre.
