Please do not depend upon faculty member. Some teachers are really helpful only get help from those.

Placements: About 20+ students got placed out of 60 in the year 2018 of mechanical batch. They are in some respected core companies like Grindmaster, HCl technologies, Emerson, thermax and many more. With minimum salary of 3 Lacs to max 5.7 Lacs per annum. While in last year 29 students get placed out of 45 who give interviews.

Best for instrumentation, electronics, CSE and production engineering.

Placements: There are 100% placements for instrumentation branch from big names like Reliance, Thermax and Emerson. Along with that, TCS recruits 150+ candidates every year. For mechanical, electrical, chemical, textile, production etc., the placement percent is almost 10%. For civil, there is no concept like placements.

The experience was great and satisfying.

Placements: Placements in our college for production Engineering department is very low. From 75 students only 3 were placed in bharat forge Pune. Other than that. Others have been placed according to their own projects and internship. Even in the senior batches campus placements were very low.

This is the best autonomous college with excellent infrastructure and supportive faculty.

Placements: Many companies like HCL, IBM, TCS, Honeywell, Arati Chemicals, Emerson, Reliance, Sybase, Johnson's Control, Petrofac, Thermax, Persistent and many more visit the campus to conduct placements. Almost 90% of the students got placed. We have an official training and placement cell with the faculty coordinator.

SGGS - the actual reality of an Autonomous.

Placements: SGGS, being located in the remote area of Marathwada attracts very few companies. Most of the placements are done by mass recruiters like TCS, IBM, etc. Over a hundred students were recruited by TCS. Rest of the companies recruited few students of respective branches. Previous year's 55% placements are greater than 30-35% this year. The lowest package was offered by Bharat Forge roughly 1.5 LPA while the highest was 5 LPA by Reliance, with the average being 2.5-2.8 LPA. Some companies that visit...

One of the best autonomous government colleges in India.

Placements: SGGSIE&T is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra with placements over 90% each year. More than 400 students are placed in companies like TCS, Emerson, Honeywell, HCL, etc. Out of which, TCS takes away most of the students. The average package lies between 3.5 to 4 LPA, and the highest goes up to 6 to 7 LPA. The college offers summer internships with a stipend of around Rs. 5,000.

SGGSIE&T review and recommendation.

Placements: Good placement. You can expect decent MNCs like TCS, cogni etc. Package available is around 3 Lacs to 6 Lacs. Also, you can opt for most of the company but you will get only 1 job at a time.

Average package is 3-4L pa. mass recruiter : TCS For extc electrical Hela Electronics pick 3-4 student, package about 4 L Startups like Johnson control, Laurus infotech also pics students of IT Comps Nvidia used to pick students, bt now has stopped as they say students has low technical skills College is good for developing extra curricular activities. Good college with nice campus which is hard to find in government colleges.

Placements: Training and placement cell is really trying hard for getting more and more placement. And if you are interested in B.Tech instrumentation engineering its best for this branch. In past few years department achieved 100%. Some other branches also have good placement percentage.

The college is excellent, but it has only a few placements.

Placements: I am in the first batch of civil engineering before the branch was civil and water management, so there are no placements, but after some years, surely there will be some placements. Before one year, CWM (civil and water management) students had placements, but only one company visited the campus for the placements.

If you have passion about engineering then you can take admission in this college.

Placements: Placements of my senior batch I. e. 2015-16 was excellent about 80% but after that it gets declined in 2016-17 and 2017-18 batch. Average package of students was about 3.5 lac /annum. Various companies both IT and Core visited to our campus like TCS, IBM, Petrofac, Helps, johnson control. Internship provided by college is in very less number.

In short if you love Electronic and communication then you will love the college life here!

Placements: Placements are decent this year but they were better last year, One can see the placement of this branch is getting low day by day. The recruitment process is only on group discussion and aptitude, nothing branch related are asked! TCS, Infosys this are for placement.

SGGS, a growing bird with strengthen feathers.

Placements: The placements for UG programs are so much grateful. TCS, a first day company hires at-least 200 students. The industry relations of the institution are too much stronger, with the help of which various types of core and software companies come there for the recruitments, and almost every year each branch has at least 80% of the placements. As per PG courses are concerned, the placements are not up to the mark. In most of the cases, students are encouraged in the field of research for the PhD pr...

SGGS - Slowly getting over the line.

Placements: To be honest, the placements were pretty average. There were many recruitments, but sadly in one single company, TCS. Around 70%-80% students got placed. The highest package offered was 5.2 LPA by Reliance and the lowest was 1.7 LPA by Bharat Forge. Of a few companies, some are TCS, Bharat Forge, IBM, Yodlee, GS Labs, Persistent, etc. The students were mostly given the roles in IOT, R&D, Infra Management and Cyber Security. Around 30% students opted and secured internships. I'm not sure about th...

Satisfied because of good facilities with helpful labs. The campus environment is very good.

Placements: There is a bulk placement for students of every branch. Most of the students got placed in TCS. The highest package in college is 4.5 LPA. 70% students got placed. A separate placement cell is available. It is very useful. Hella, Reliance, GGK, Persistent, also came for placements.

A better place of education where facilities are more than sufficient and results are good.

Placements: Placements here are awesome, nearly 80-90% of CSE students are already placed, more companies to come, hope all will get placed. Many companies like HCL, TCS, techprime labs, G. S. Labs, Sarvaha ltd, etc. Hired a bunch of students, and package is good enough as a start of career.

Very satisfied. Our college is government autonomous college.

Placements: Not much bad in chemical department there were 40% students placed in 2017-18 and only 9 years passed for chemical department and the placement scenario increasing day by day. In 2017-2018 there were 139 Students placed in TCS. 3 student placed in Honeywell. Overall the placement scenario increasing continuously.

Satisfied with the curriculum, but placements and internships needs to be quality one.

Placements: Mostly mass recruitment placements were held and only 3-4 core companies visited selecting few 4-5 students. 70-75% placements in year 2014-15. the highest salary offered 5 LPA and the lowest offered was 2.5 LPA contributing an avg salary for CSE graduation 3.25 LPA. TCS, Cognizant, IBM, Persistent Systems, Nvidia, Bella, GGK Infotech, GS Lab, etc.10 % of the roles offered were developer and rest 90 % includes only support roles.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Average placement. Around 20-25 companies visit our college. But the placement of instrumentation branch is almost 100%. Emerson company visits our college and hires 4-5 students each year from instrumentation. Mechanical branch is just started in 2012 and very less companies visit to hire mechanical engineering students.

Best college, best infrastructure, very good teaching.

Placements: Since it is a government autonomous institute, Placement is good enough as comparison with other private colleges. 75-80 % of students were placed in this current years campus drive the highest package is approximately 5 to 5.5 Lacs per annum and min package is 3.8-3.5 Lacs per annum. Training and placement cell of our college is hard working for students.
