Dissatisfied because of faculty, but the placements in 2021 were good.

Placements: The college is good for placements. Around 70% of students get placement opportunities, but some reject the proposal. The highest package offered is 20 Lacs per annum. The average salary offered may range between 5-15 Lacs per annum.

Overall, it is an average college for mechanical students.

Placements: There are below-average placements for mechanical students. I'm in the 7th semester, and none of the students from our batch got placed. You have to learn skills on your own, but if you compromise, you may get good output. But that's a rare chance. It is better to choose any other branch rather than mechanical because it has less scope in future.

Good placement and quality education.

Placements: Most of the students got placed, about 82%. The highest package offered was 16 LPA, the lowest package was 4.6 LPA, and the average package was 8 to 9 LPA. About 10 students got internships in TCS, HCL, Wipro etc. All the above-average students got placed with their own efforts and got a satisfying job.

I am a bit dissatisfied because of the ragging on the campus.

Placements: About 80% of the students got placed in college. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. The average salary package offered varies from 6 LPA to 7 LPA. About 20 students got internships in TCS, HCL, Wipro, etc. All the above-average students got placed with their efforts.

It is a good college, but it does not provide sports facilities.

Placements: About 65% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 7-8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4.6 LPA. About 25 students from our course got an internship in companies like TCS, HCL, Wipro, etc. All the above-average students get placed with their own efforts.

The major dissatisfaction of this college is that the environment made around is more like a school.

Placements: The placement drives arranged by the college are not good. Although the students get good placements on their own and the college takes the credit of those. Also the placement block is not very student friendly and they don't spread a valuable information for the students.

Everything is average, and newcomers should only focus on their dream.

Placements: Around 80% of the students got placements from our college side. However, only half of them proceed further because the salary package offered is not up to the mark, and companies are not that reputed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are HCL, Daffodil, InnoBit and Jaro Education. Internships are offered for few students whose CGPA is greater than 8.5. Internal projects were assigned for all stu...

Review of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: When you are spending 4 years you expect some good companies should visit your college in your domain for hiring. But that didn't happen. Not a single reputed firm visited the campus for recruitment. All the companies were either of IT domains or were fake. There were 2 companies that didn't even have a decent office space.

Appreciated my time on college though would have been more enjoyable if it was a bit less strict.

Placements: The placement process of the college was pretty good. But mainly one MNC used to hire in bulk. So, though we got placements, the choices were very limited. Except that, the placement wise, SRMS is doing fine. Many MNCs won't be willing to visit the college due to its location.

Satisfied with the course and faculty, but dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: There were no placements for the M. Pharma batch pass out students. Students had to struggle on their own for finding a job. None of the companies visited the college for placements. None of the students got internships from the college. There is a placement cell, but no actions were taken for placements of M.Pharma students.

It is not easy to survive in this college.

Placements: Placements for our batch were not up to the expectations. In terms of good companies, you will find only TCS coming for recruitment. However, there are other startup companies, but they will not pay you more than 1.8 LPA. There is rarely any company for any other branch except CS and IT. So, if you are in this college, don't wait for college to give you placements. Try on your own, attend E-Litmus, AMCAT and pool campus drives. The worst thing is that the college will not give you leaves if you ...

The college was good, but I'm not satisfied with the placements.

Placements: Less than 10% of the students were placed from the whole batch. Only 1 company named TCS has visited our college. There were no internship opportunities provided by the college. Academics were good compared to other colleges, but they neither share practical knowledge nor support students to learn the latest technological concepts. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Students got placed on their own.

A college with good placement opportunities and infrastructure.

Placements: Our college takes effort in providing placements for students of the final year batch. From 2018, the placement drives have been switched from campus drive to pool drive. Our college is making efforts to provide placements for students of the pre-final year from 2018 onwards.

The college has average placements, infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: Placements in our college were not great. In 2015, only a few companies like TCS, Syntel and Genpact visited our college to hire students. TCS hired students with the highest package of 3.18 LPA. The role offered by TCS was system engineer trainee. More than 80 students got placed in TCS. Internships were not provided to students from college. There is a placement cell in our college, and it takes care of all the placement related activities. The placement cell is useful for students.

Honest review by exsrmsian.

Placements: Placements for CS and it branch are almost 100%. But never expect to have good reputed companies visiting the campus. Only startups or average companies visit campus for recruitment. Hence if your are opting for CS it admission then you will definelty find the placement.

Highly not recommended. !

Placements: There is no concept of an internship from the college. Whoever did it got it on their own. The placement prospects are also not very bright. Limited number of companies visit the campus with a package of 2.5 to 3 Lacs. More than 40% of the batch had to find placement outside of campus.

Overall a good place with nice environment and supporting faculty but very poor management.

Placements: No placement at all for mechanical engineering branch. They just called start up companies which had zero credibility. Unlike every other year, even TCS didn't come this year. I got placed in a startup company offering a package of 5.5 LPA but it turned out to be faud.

Summarizing it this college is best for ones who really want to study.

Placements: Placement in our college is moderate. Some people will say very big things about it but I ensure that placement in moderate in the college like normal colleges. As per recent batch most of our IT seniors have been placed with avg. Package of 3-4 Lacs per annum.
