Good infrastructure and management, but less campus in civil engineering.

Placements: This college places about 3-4 students per year in good construction companies like Sapoorji. The selection process at my time was not well justified, as my name was on the list for the final interview, but suddenly name was removed, and I was told to Meet HOD for consolation. Again at last, students who were selected in GD, where some of them were not good at communicating but had the support of HOD. By the way, the placement numbers are very less, but the students who got selected are having ...

The review of SRMCEM, Lucknow.

Placements: Here, the placement condition is poor but good for CSE and IT branch. The only companies visiting are TCS and Infosys alternatively. You need to look around for the pool campuses and be active for the placements, rather than just relying on the placement cell there.

Not satisfied with my college for value education.Placement is bad.Infrastructure is satisfactory.

Placements: Placement condition in my college is not very good, rarely 5-6 students from a batch of around 120 gets placement every year. Average salary goes to 2-3 lacks annually. Some good companies like TCS, L& T etc. Visited our college this and many more companies visits but very few students gets placement because our college doesn't provide such type of creativity and personality in the college. Last year the highest salary goes to 5 lacks but that was off-campus and the lowest was 1.4 lacks.

A marks machine engineering college.

Placements: In the name of the placements, this college is zero now as only 0-2% of the total students gets placed. Earlier TCS, Infosys used to come in this college, but now they don't. Now the companies like the Bisleri, Colgate and other local companies come for the placements. The salary offered to the students was between Rs. 1.4- Rs. 2.5 lakhs only.

This college is more like a school. Lots and lots of assignments and projects.

Placements: The placements in Ramswaroop are not too high nor too low. Sometimes, the companies come and sometimes they don't. TCS plays a major part in the enrollment of the students, but then it differs from person to person that how they perform in the aptitude and the interview. People try to score more than 80%, but 75% is just fine.

The college has a bad placement, but the cultural activities are the best.

Placements: Regarding the placement in computer science and the information technology, this college is good mainly because TCS visits this college. But in case of any another branch the placement record is 1 or 2%. The companies visit the college, but very few candidates got selection in another branch, due to the non-relevance of the company profile to them. That is why the placement is not good for another branch of engineering and as well as for the management.

SRMCEM, Lucknow. Honest review.

Placements: In this college, the placement scenario is very poor. Even they wouldn't allow you to attend the job fair. They don't assist in placement. They will give you so much assignment that you will not be able to go to the job fair. They will not invite any company, especially for the mechanical branch.

Detailed review of SRMCEM, Lucknow by its recently passed out student

Placements: Last year, the placement of our college was very much poor. Not a single good company conducted a full-fledged placement drive in our college. Earlier, companies like TCS and Daffodil came but this was not the case in our batch. Most of the students got placements through either Elitmus or Cocubes. Roughly 10% of the students got technical jobs. Others were mainly placed in BPOs.

An average engineering college.

Placements: The placements in the college are below average. Only 2-3% of the total students got placed. The highest salary offered was 3.5 lakhs per annum, lowest was 1.4 lakhs, and the average 2.3 lakhs per annum. Companies like Bisleri, Colgate and Infosys come here. Hardly any student gets the internship from SRMCEM.

SRMCEM Lucknow, an average college with a good and strict course curriculum, but bad placements.

Placements: To be very honest, only one of the students from my batch was placed in Shapoorji Pallonji Group of Companies on the campus. The salary offered to him was 3.6 LPA. The job location was Mumbai and the job role for six months was engineering trainee as the first six months of the training period. As mechanical is a core and an evergreen branch, getting a placement in average to top core companies is not easy as these companies do not come to the Uttar Pradesh area for placements. The college does ...

Good place for gaining knowledge due to strict discipline.

Placements: The placements are just average. So if you are looking for good placements, you will not be satisfied. The companies visiting are mainly TCS and some local companies. In the year 2016-17 session, 208 students were placed. But if you are looking for placements in core subjects, then I am sorry to say that it's nil.

More like a school than a college.

Placements: The placements for the previous batch were marvellous. Almost everyone from CS, EC and IT got placed. The mass recruitment drive was done by TCS, which absorbed roughly 200 students. Although this year the placements are a bit shaky as no big company except Amazon came for campus placement. Up to the point of writing this review, about 20-30% students have been placed mostly off-campus. Companies are expected to visit the college in April.

A good place to study and to make your career.

Placements: The placements were good. Around 65% students were placed during my tenure. The highest package that was offered was around 10 lacs by LG. The lowest offered was 1.75 lacs by One Point One. The different roles that were offered to the students were of junior programmer, analyst, developer etc.

An honest feedback of Ramswaroop (SRMCEM).

Placements: The placements are below average. On the official website, they will state that "we offered the high packages", but don't consider that reality. If you're good enough, you will be hired by TCS. So don't expect much and make sure that you are not going to the NIT or IIT, it's just a Ramswaroop only. A very few student will get placed in CS or IT, forget about other core branches. So keep the hopes less and enjoy more. Hope this helps!

I am a final year student of this college and i have seen all the things there.

Placements: Expecting good placements from a private engineering college is lunacy. I am in the final year of Btech (ME) and only 2 companies came for mechanical engineers, SPCL and Yash papers which took only two students and their package was also very low. Yash paper was offering 1.8 LPA and SPCL 3.2 LPA. So according to me, do not expect placements here.

SRMCEM is overall an average college compared with other UPTU colleges .But there is a lot of spoon feeding and useless lectures that are needed to attend. Lot of time is wasted in writing assignments and solving tutorial sheets. Term paper, seminar presentations are of no use. These are made in just 1 day and no knowledge is gained from them. But as compared to other colleges of UPTU, faculty here has knowledge of the subject and also some faculty ask the students to read foreign writers and al...

College Authorities just want attendance. Faculty is average. Placement process is very poor, only software companies come for CS and IT branch. For Mechanical 1 or 2 companies come with very poor salary package offers like 1.8 lakh per annum. Even in final year good attendance is needed. We Mechanical and Civil Engineering students need time for preparation of Government sector, PSU, GATE and IES exams, but there's no time if you are in “RAMSWAROOP”. They also provide very poor structure of in...

College environment is good. Administration is strict and is really serious about studies and exams. But the only problem is they only focus on class teaching and doesn't emphasis on the creativity and personal studies of students. If someone wants then its fine as far as studies is concerned.

I joined here in 2009, after getting selected here through UPCET exam. This college has a good ranking in U.P. Plus point is that it was also close to my house so i chose this college. It is run by IIT'ians couple. They try to instill all things that are there in IIT's, from tests, quizzes to giving students all chances to write their paper and get it published. Teachers are strict, like more they focus on completing their course than, making the students understand anything. Chemistry and physi...

This college is known for its ranking in the state as it is ranked 12th in UP. I got placed from here in TCS. College has good infrastructure and ground here is very big. The labs here are very well equipped with all the materials and lab assistance. Here one main thing is that, the students have to give lot of exams every now and then for maintaining internal marks. It includes quizzes, surprise tests, and assignments. Last year students have to do project in either hardware or software type de...
