College has good ranking in UP. It is run by the ex-husband wife IIT'ians. Basically I went to this college because of its ranking only. But if it is placement that you are looking for then, you should not go for this college. As around 4-5 companies only come for the placements here every year. Among them TCS is the constant recruiter here, every year they come and recruit students from all the Departments of Engineering. Coming to other things, college has good infrastructure, while it is also...

Coming to the point it is a school nothing more. You have uniforms and mandatory attendance etc. Nothing like a college. You'll be having the subject quiz every Saturday and Monday for the duration you are there. It is strict and disciplined institute but doesn't provide you with values with which you can improve your career. That said placement isn't good. You have better chances over off-campus. It has nice library and labs. Canteen is very small and nothing good is available near the campus. ...

The Lecturers are mean and the college won't support you in any extra-curricular activities rather than studies. If you have a dream of getting into a college with all the facilities and along with it you want to enjoy your college life, then believe me this is not the college you want to get in.

It is a Good College but it currently have a poor infrastructure. As well as the college has a problem with grading i.e. internal marks of the students. They usually provide average marks to the students (for example- 35/50) which decreases the percentage of the student. But it offers good study material and teaching scenario for the students. Students are really having a hectic schedule and don’t have time for anything. Mostly, companies coming are ‘C’ grade companies offering a low package of ...

My experience with SRMCEM was not very good. But I had learnt a lot from my teachers and colleagues. Campus life was good. But the college was not able to fulfill their promises, what they had made while giving admission. For engineering students, this college is very good but for management students it's not a very good option because placement options are not much for management students.

Should you opt srmcem college?

Placements: In passing out batch, approximately 30% of students were placed. The highest package offered was around INR 6 LPA, the lowest was INR 2 LPA, and the average package was INR 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included local firms and a few mid-sized tech companies. About 25% of students secured internships, mainly at local businesses and startups. The top roles offered were software developer, support engineer, and sales executive.

Very bad infrastructure with low-class faculty members. Not good for students from poor backgrounds.

Placements: Only 50 percent of students get placed. Others prepare for government examinations or private ones. Very few companies come for placement drives. Not worth it for placements. 17-18 thousand is the first-month placement amount on average. Not good for children who are economically weak.

Somewhat dissatisfied with the college infrastructure, faculty, and strictness.

Placements: Students who got placed were about 85–90% in my course. The highest package was INR 17 lpa, the lowest was INR 3.5 lpa, and the average was INR 5–6 lpa, which is justified according to their advertisements. Top recruiting companies are Tata, TCS, Wipro, and Cogniizant, which mainly recruit at this college. According to me, placements are good at this college, but one needs to be very qualified in his or her course.

Insights of SRMCEM, the way it's build and the way it makes others.

Placements: The placements are average. The average package offered to students is about 2 to 3 LPA. The companies which visit the campus are cognizant, Wipro, TCS, HCL, IBM and many other service-based companies. This year, the highest package offered was about 6 LPA.

Satisfied with the course and teachers. But the college management is not very good.

Placements: Only 4% of the total students from the mechanical branch are placed and that too in non-technical companies. The highest package was 5 LPA and the lowest was 40 thousand per annum. Tata Steel was the top recruiting company. There were no internship programs offered by our college. We need to complete our internships from outside only.

Dissatisfied with infrastructure, teachers and curriculum.

Placements: The placement in the past two years has risen considerably. The bulk recruiters are TCS, wipro, cognizant. Last year (2018-19), the recruitment (on campus) was approximately 89%. Companies like SAP recruit a lot of students especially from the CS IT and EC branch.

I need to improve the quality of the facilities and faculty members.

Placements: There are no placements in our branch. Students are placed in local companies which will not provide experience at all in future. So not to hope for placements in our branch. CS branch students are getting some placements; otherwise, the placements in our college are very less.

Ramswaroop college the leading institution of Lucknow.

Placements: Placement in my view are good enough for computer Science and information technology branches. But for other branches placement are there. Shri ramswaroop college also hires it's own students in there software development company named as SRDT shri ramswaroop digital technology.

Overall the college is good.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Not very high-level companies recruit here, but at least jobs are provided to students. However, this year, our senior was placed in a very good company with an awesome salary package. Placements in our college for mechanical branch is nil, and there is almost the same condition of the civil branch, but not nil. Only one company visit the campus every year for civil branch, i.e., Larsen & Toubro.
