A:

Direct admission is not available for any courses at the Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management (SRMCEM), Lucknow. Entrance exams are the basis for admission to all programs. An outline of the admissions procedure is provided below: Exams for admission: The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) is taken into account for admission to the B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, and MCA programs. The Lucknow University Management Aptitude Test (LUMAT) scores are taken into account for BBA and MBA programs. Application Procedure: Generally, the application procedure takes place offline. To obtain an application form, fill it out, attach the necessary paperwork, pay the application fee, and turn it in at the admission office, prospective students must visit the college.

Q:   What is the seat intake for MBA at SRMCEM Lucknow?

A:

The SRMCEM Lucknow MBA program can accommodate 120 students.

Motives behind the particular seat intake:

1. Faculty-student ratio: It's critical to keep balanced faculty-to student ratio in order to guarantee that every student receives enough attention and high-quality education. defined intake aids in allocating sufficient faculty resources for efficient instruction.

2. Infrastructure and resources: limited number of students can be comfortably seated in the college's classrooms and libraries. The college guarantees that there are sufficient resources available for every student to learn effectively by restricting the number of admissions.

3. Placement opportunities: The college takes industry contacts and its placement network into account when selecting the intake. A controlled enrollment aids the college in setting up internships and effectively connecting students with employers.

4. Demand and competition: The program's demand as well as the degree of applicant competition may have an impact on the intake. The college makes sure that all students have fair competition and a supportive learning environment by balancing admissions with available resources.

Q:   What is the selection process for MBA at SRMCEM Lucknow?

A:

The MBA selection procedure at SRMCEM Lucknow:

Step 1: Qualifications: Academic Requirement: Applicants must have earned minimum of 50% of their points toward bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

Exam required for admission: Candidates must pass the Lucknow University Management Aptitude Test (LUMAT) with score that is competitive.

Step 2: Making shortlist The LUMAT scores of the candidates are used to create shortlist. Every year, the precise cut-off score for the shortlist is determined by variety of factors, including the volume of applications received and the exam's overall difficulty.

Step 3: Discussion in Groups (GD): Those who have made the short list are invited to take part in group discussion (GD). During this phase, candidates' critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills are assessed.

The PI evaluates applicants' overall personality, academic background, work experience (if any), and motivation for seeking an MBA.

Step 5: Final Selection:

Good placement but no college life.
Placements: There were mostly students placed in IT companies, but some of them were also placed in sales companies. The highest package was 8 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 3 Lacs per annum. Amazon, Deloitte, Tata, Adani, and HCL, I think, each and every student got an internship. Data analyst, sales executive, and tech leader.
Infrastructure: The college has a library having a variety of materials, including books, journals, magazines, project reports, and CD rooms. The Wi-Fi is very smooth and fast, but the internet provided by the college to us is extranet. The hostel is not good; they just don't follow the meal timetable, and sometimes the food also gets finished if I am late. But the medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers were highly qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable, fostering a positive learning environment. The course is relevant, but students also have to develop their own responsibility and skills. The external semester exams are easy, but in this college, you don't get any internal exams, so you have to work hard in your pre-end and quizzes.
Other: My main motive for choosing this course was because I wanted to get a job in the IT sector without studying Physics and Chemistry. The best thing about our course is that we have been taught Maths along with accounts and other management. The things in our course need to be improved, like bringing NEP to our course. Events rarely happen, and when they happen, you are not given any attendance for them.

True review of SRMCEM by Prakhar.
Placements: The percentage of students that were placed in my course is a maximum of 30-40% all over the college because all the students get admission in B.Tech if he/she had completed schooling from the Science stream. If they have completed schooling from the commerce or arts stream then he/she will take admission in BCA otherwise not so much chance. The highest package given to students is 10-12 LPA, the lowest package offered to students is 3-4 LPA, and the average package of my course is 5-6 LPA only, not more than that. Top recruiting companies for my course are TCS, Analyze Infotech, Shri Balaji Infotech, etc. The percent of students who got internships from my course is not more because it is not mandatory for everyone and the students completing their degree and pursue some new courses like MBA or MCA. Top roles offered in my course are that if the student is excellent in study then he/she should be made a member of the student placement committee or he/she should be awarded more grace marks and make him/her a student guide of juniors.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course/department are neat and clean, star-wise classrooms equipped with a Smart TV or projector, Wi-Fi which you can connect all over the campus and only you can access YouTube, not more than that, and the limit is also there which is 500 MB and then you can connect a different student with a different roll number. The labs are also well-conditioned and all the systems are running continuously from 9 AM to 4:25 PM. The library is also there in which all types of books and magazines are kept according to your choice for 1 week and if you have not completed your study in 1 week then you can re-issue for 1 week.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable also. The faculty provides the notes, takes lectures regularly, shares tutorial sheets on a weekly basis, and takes tutorial classes in a week. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and courses are interconnected to each other like if the student got placement in tech, or financing companies so he/she can do the job in an excellent manner. The syllabus is a little bit tough, otherwise not. If the person can study on a regular basis then he/she can crack the exam of Lucknow University or the Pre-end semester of the college or the quizzes conducted weekly. The pass percentage is 40% in the End exam and in college, there is no percentage to pass.
Other: I have chosen this course because I had not completed my schooling with the Science/Math stream that is why I took part in this course, otherwise, I would take B.Tech rather than BCA. The best thing about my course is that you are studying at the B.Tech level and the fee is also low as compared to a B.Tech degree. The events which are organized in my college are Annual function, sports day, and many more like hackathons and Robo-Wars, etc.

If you’re looking for value for money, you can come here.
Placements: From our college, the placement ratio is 60%, and some students got the highest package of 8-10 lakhs, with an average package of about 4-5 lakhs. These packages are offered by companies like TCS and more. About 20% of students got an internship in their 2nd year. Roles offered by companies are web development, etc.
Infrastructure: In Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management, facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms, and libraries are good, but the infrastructure is decent. In the library, you can find all the books that you require. Talking about mess food, it is good, and the mess places are clean and bacteria-free.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, and their way of teaching is also good. They are very cooperative and help us clear all doubts. The curriculum is designed based on industry-based requirements. Semester exams are moderate level based on the teachers who have taught in class.

An average college with average facilities.
Placements: Placements are average compared to other colleges. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Some mass recruiting companies are TCS and Cognizant. Students should not expect much.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is average. Students get a small ground and a single library. It takes half an hour to go from the building where second, third, and fourth-year classes are held. There is no Wi-Fi at all. Our college does not provide air conditioners.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good, but some are like other colleges. Exams are conducted by AKTU University, which is the worst in copying. Charges are very high for evaluation. Internal quizzes and pre-end exams are held regularly, which makes students feel depressed sometimes.

Honest review of SRMCEM, Lucknow.
Placements: 99 percent placement for B.Tech CSE students is offered by this college. Some of the companies are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Walmart, etc. Approximately every student who is interested gets an internship in this college. Overall, the average package B.Tech CSE students get in this college is about 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: All types of facilities are offered by this college, like Wi-Fi, library, labs, nice classrooms, and all other required facilities. The fee for the first year is just 156610. No more than this amount will be charged from you. It has a mess and canteen, and the AKTU sports fest is held in this college every year.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified, and they are very friendly with the students. All faculty members are very supportive. There are weekly tests named quizzes, which are held twice every week in this college. The end-semester exam is conducted by AKTU, from where it is affiliated.
Other: Actually, I wanted to do B.Tech in CSE, and as per the rank I got, it was the best college for me that I could get. It is a very nice college, and my experience in it is so good so far. All the things are good, and no improvements are needed. There are many fests like freshers, Anvarat, Abhivyakti, sports fest, and many more.

Review of Shri Ramswaroop memorial college of engineering and management.
Placements: Taking admission in this college was the biggest wrong decision I have ever taken. They don't bring any good companies for the placement of students and when the students of 7 semester or 8 semester take off-campus placement, then they don't allow them to leave the classes and join their job.
Infrastructure: There is no such good infrastructure of this college. And the food of hostel is totally a disaster. Many people of my class who stay in college hostel have fallen sick and got diagnosed because of that food. I will prefer not to take college hostel for your ward.
Faculty: Only one thing is important in this college and that is making 75% attendance. Many times teacher are confused in the things they are teaching to us. The faculty of this college doesn't listen to any students and only does whatever they want. Every time we have to give quizzes because of the internal marks.
Other: Don't take admission in this college.
