The college is not bad, and you can study here.

Placements: The placement is good. There is about 75% placement in computer science branch, and overall college placement is about 50%. The placement is in good companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant come to the college, and take a various number of students. Last year, especially Tech Mahindra took the maximum number of students from our college. The highest package is about 6.65 lakh per annum, and the average package is about 3lakh per annum, and the lowest package is about Rs. 1,80,000.

Overall, I would say that, my college is good, but it can get better as well.

Placements: In placements, we are getting core jobs very difficultly. Only 4-5 students from core branch get a core job or a job related to their fields. One of our teachers told this. Mostly, students get the service orientated positions in the companies like TCS, Capgemini, etc. This year, I saw a Capgemini poster in our college gate during the placement period.

The college is good only for GATE, GRE, and postgraduate preparations.

Placements: The placements in this college are average. Th highest package offered is 5-6 lacs per annum, and the average package is about 3-3.2 lacs per annum. Mostly the students from the computer science and IT branch are placed as only IT companies come for the placements like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini to hire the students.

I am satisfied with my college because of the faculty. But in my branch, placement was not so good.

Placements: Placement was not so good in the mechanical branch but good in computer science engineering and electrical engineering branch. Highest salary offered is 4.4 lakh annually. Minimum salary is 2.4 lakh annually. TCS, Viveo, Adani Power Group, Tech Mahindra etc.

The good thing is that there is a nice chance of getting placed. The bad thing is that the facilities are not so good. The canteen is also not good. The hostel is nice. Girl’s hostel is outside of the campus, which is not good. The management is purely money oriented. There is nothing in the name of a cultural fest. There is a separate student body for each branch.

1st year was good in college but after that I came to know that it was not as superior as I thought. Lab facilities and practical knowledge was limited to booklets only. Faculty staff are good but they are bounded to management rules and nobody respect or welcome their ideas to develop good changes in structure. So overall it’s all about management which is now more concentrated to build new buildings and medical colleges. Apart from all this the biggest issue was about placement. Only few comp...

The college is built in a small area with no space for extra-curricular activities of its own. The faculty is up to the mark here. The basic aim of faculty is just to cover their syllabus within the semester and they are busy with that only. About the placements, if you are a CS stream student with a good aptitude, then with your technical skills you will get a job in your hand by the end of the course. However, don't hope for a high salary. I will not recommend this college for outstation st...

If you have not scored well at all India level entrance exams and looking for a state level engineering college then Shankara will be worth to consider. Good library, average faculty and extra curriculum wise college invests a lot. But if you are looking for decent placement offers you should think again for a while before you start filling up the Application Form. Only few reputed IT firms visit campus every year .Some of them are: TCS,Tech M, Bitwise corp,Synergy Solutions. Placement of core b...

Nice college with okay infrastructure, only a few faculty members are good, library is poor, and all departments are in the same building. Though college campus is good but this college building appears puny in front of the main college buildings. Systems and mechanical workshops are way out dated.

Infrastructure is good. The Labs and canteen and other facilities like hostel, bus canteen etc. are also nice. But teaching is not up to the mark. Also, campus placements are not as good as promised and companies like TCS, Infosys, Ultratech, etc. don’t visits college for recruitment.

Average college, not as good as Shankara. But rather choosing other colleges in Bhilai except BI, S1 and Rungta you can go for it. Crowd is good if you want to enjoy a real college life surely, go for it, placement record is not good. Fees is reasonable. Surely, not the first choice but if you want a specific branch like mechanical or civil you can go for it.

Overall good college with good campus. It also has good faculty. One of the best thing is that it has biggest central library of all colleges available in Chhattisgarh . It also has 3 other college under same group. It has all good labs. You will get to do all practical.

Overall, it is a good college if anyone wants to study in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: I am a pass out students of the 2018 batch of the mechanical branch. I didn't get placed from the campus placements. Fewer companies visit here, or it is even negligible for mechanical and civil branches. The average salary package offered is 4-8 LPA for CS background students.

I am dissatisfied with the college because of the curriculum they follow.

Placements: Only CSE students get placed in this college with a very less salary package of 3-4 LPA. The highest salary package offered during our time was 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 2.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Accenture. The role offered is a software developer.

It is very bad at developing a student as a professional.

Placements: Around 35% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 18,000 per month. Most of the students were placed in IT solutions and business firms. There is no such direct role offered in our course. The salary package offered is ranged between 1.8 LPA to 3.8 LPA. Almost 10% to 25% of the students got internships for casting in Simplex and JSW.

I won't say it is worth it, but it is the best college in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: Placement drives conducted in the college are quite good. Companies visit mostly for IT and CSE branches. The placements were average. The highest package offered was Rs. 9 lacs per annum by BYJU's. The placement cell is quite active and helps students.

I am satisfied but not with placements.

Placements: Placements were average and it should bring more companies for core branches for line power plants, automobiles. TCS, and Adani visited to hire students. Mostly girl students got placed like in TCS girls were preferred. Teaching can be improved. This college was better in placement.

Review of Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus.

Placements: Students got placed in BitWise Synergy and Uber also. Placements basically of BPOs are available. Companies like TCS, etc., visit here and recruit students in a huge number. There are mass recruiting companies like TCS, Cognizant and Tech Mahindra. Campus recruitment will be started during the final year around October and in June.

Placements: Our college has good placement and training cell. Career development classes are held at regular intervals. Various companies visit the campus for placement drives, and students get placed.
