College review of SSTC, Bhilai.

Placements: In recent years, the percentage of students who were placed was not that high but decent, and most students who were placed were from the computer science branch. The highest package of my college is 14 LPA. And the average is around 3.5 LPA. The major recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc.

Our college is not good.

Placements: Our college invites mass recruiters, and there is no product-based company. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Around 40% of students got placed in this course.

Although the campus was good, students cannot grow here.

Placements: Placements were not good enough in our college, and you will not get many opportunities. There are no internships at all, and you have to search for internships on your own. The lowest salary package offered here is 2.4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 3.8 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, TCS, Byju's, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit our college for placements.

I suggest you do not take admission in this college.

Placements: Roles are not offered to the students. The salary packages offered are very low. I have talked with many of our seniors who are passed out, and their reviews were not good at all. The internship offers are very below-average.

Dissatisfied with faculty and placements. No atmosphere for learning and growing.

Placements: The placement of my seniors was around 20%. The highest salary offered was of 10 lac. , the lowest salary offered was of 2.5 lac. And average salary was around 3 lac. Top Recruiting companies for my course were TCS, Tech Mahindra, capgemini and Byjus. Top roles offered in my course were analyst, software developer and tester. Culture of internship doesn't exist in my college and hardly 3-5% students got internship from my course.

Good infrastructure to support healthy teaching environment.

Placements: SITM has a decent placement record for IT and CSE branches, but for other streams, the placements are not much good. The average package offered is around 3.5 LPA due to the high intake of students (720 students). The college also offers an MBA, but the quality of education is not good.

The placements of this college are not good.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for the students of the electrical department. Only IT companies visit the college for placements. Many of these companies that visit the college are not genuine. The college is not good for the students who want to get placed in campus placement drives. The college doesn't even take care and think about your future. The students have to find the placement opportunities by themselves.

Please avoid. This is not a college but a business.

Placements: Placements were a rarity in our college. Less than 5% were placed by the time our session ended. TCS and a lot of BPOs. Except TCS, most of them were voice processes and back office support. No one got internships via college. We were supposed to look out for our own. No stipend, we had to pay for internships. Placement cell is a joke.

Somehow dissatisfied in terms of placement.

Placements: Placements are good in average terms. Branches that belongs to IT companies are in considerable position here viz. Computer Science, electronics and electrical etc. For core branches like civil mechanical there is hardly any chance of placement. 30% placement.

Very poor infrastructure, average placement and faculty are disgusting.

Placements: The placements in the college are average. Usually, about 30-40% of the students get placed with an average package of 2.4 LPA. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Byjus are the major companies involved here. The highest package of my senior is of 7 LPA and minimum is of 1.8 LPA. Generally, CS and IT students get placed often.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of some faculty behavior, net connectivity and placement's drive.

Placements: A very few students are placed in good companies. I think the maximum package was INR 3.4 Lakhs. No companies visited the core branches such as mechanical, civil, and electrical and telecommunications engineering. TCS, Wipro and other IT companies only have visited the campus drive. The placement was very poor in our college, especially for the mechanical students.

It is a good college but not as compare to other college in different states. Campus and placement facilities are very poor. In our time only 2 reputed company had come. Talking about the teaching it is also very poor so many unexperienced faculties are there.

The college started in 2002-2004 but commercialized too much thereafter. The teachers were good earlier but left slowly. The administration became unsystematic after 2008-09. Most of the teachers are B-Tech and pursuing ME from the same college itself. The labs are lesser than the existing students. If the college would have continued in the manner it was on 2002-2006, then, it would have become a very good college. The college is later expanded to many other college like few other engineering ...

I am dissatisfied with the college infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 30% of the students got placed but mostly in the mass recruiter companies. Hence placements were not good. Top recruiting companies of our college were TCS and Tech Mahindra. Positions offered were analyst or software developer. There was no objection on doing internships.

GOOD COLLEGE FOR MUGS and THUGS.

Placements: The students that were placed were very low and the companies that come to this college are all of the low quality and they do not offer low packages to student. Only 5% of the students get internships and no student is satisfied with this but it is our only choice.

Our college conducts activities very late.

Placements: Companies visit our college for placements. Sometimes companies allow students who score above 75% in academics to attend placements, so it is not good for students because they can't attend on-campus or off-campus placements. Overall, our college is not good.
