Mechanical in SVVV is a good idea or not!

Placements: As admission in mechanical engineering is low, everyone is getting jobs easily, but I will personally suggest you take our college when you are interested in taking a government job. You will get lots of opportunities and time to prepare. Internships are easily available .

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and the platform the college provided.

Placements: The placements are above average with correspondence to other college in the area. They range from 2.5 L to 9 L for the mechanical engineers. The overall package could be ranged between 5-6 LPA. Recruiters like eicher, gajra gears, TCS, byjus, jaro etc. Come for recruitment. Textile engineering branch prevails which offers 100% placement with packages ranging between 2.5 to 4 LPA.

Good infrastructure and placements, but the teaching methods are old.

Placements: Most of the companies come for CS and IT. There is no much scope for EC, but you can sit for TCS. Most of my friends got selected for TCS. Our college has a tie-up with other colleges for placements. Getting placed outside the college is very tough. One should focus on skill development and opt for higher studies.

Finally overall a good college with regular teaching.

Placements: None of the student from senior batch was placed in campus selection. Zero percent placement from EX branch. The highest package was 3,50,000 and the lowest salary was 14,000 to 17,000. Companies like " Tata consultancy services", " Voltas" etc. Visited for placements. Till now for running third year in college, we are not offered any industrial visit as well as None internship programme for electrical core branch is offered. There a placement cell, but we found it off no use. The placement offi...

There is a lack of good teachers in some of the departments.

Placements: This college offers good placements for the computer science and the IT students. The companies visiting the college include Tech Mahindra, Raymond, TCS and some others. TCS is the main recruiting company here. It offers a good package as well. All the other companies visiting the college recruit the students, but none of them does so in bulk. They only take some outstanding minds with them.

This college not only provides study environment but also provides a better environment and opportunities for extracurricular activities and sports, so this is the best thing I can say about my college, SVITS but college needs a few changes like a few lab advancements and special faculty for each and every subject in all departments.

Review of Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology and Science.

Placements: I'm from mechanical engineering, and I am having the best experience here. About 65% of placements are provided. The highest package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Companies like Voltas, Eicher, etc., offered placements. Around 78% of the students got internships.
