This college is best if you are not getting in IIT or NIT.

Placements: The placement in the mechanical branch is very less as compared to EC or CS department. But when compared to other colleges in this region it is good. About 100 students get placed every year out of 240. There are few mechanical companies like Godrej visit the campus.

The great college with the great placements.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good if you are in the field of computers. The college environment is perfect for every student. This is much on the influence of the requirements as for mechanical and civil have less demand as of now, so the placements for them are in IT sector only.

SIT is not for fun loving students.

Placements: Almost 95% of the students get placed here every year. They are mostly placed in the Tata Consultancy services. There are also good opportunities for the computer science students. From my batch, 700 students got placed out of the 760 eligible students. Almost, every computer science students got more than two offers.

Satisfied with the environment of this college.

Placements: The placements in this college are nice. Many companies like Wipro, Nokia, TCS, etc. visit this college and almost all the student is placed with a good salary package. The college also provides internship to the students, and they are selected in terms of merit. The college is very helpful in giving the opportunity to the student.

Good place to study. Campus placements yet to improve.

Placements: TCS is the backbone of placements. I got placed in TVS Motor company as a territory manager. Compared to last year, placement was good this time. For CS and IS, around 50 companies visited for campus selection. But for mechanical engineering core companies were less. Placement department head is very good.

Siddaganga Institute of Technology is a place for the nerds.

Placements: A lot of companies comes here for the placement. The student doesn't have to worry about the placements. The companies like TCS, JP Morgan, etc., visit the campus and offer you the high paid jobs or the internships. The college AIMS to make all the students placed according to their talent.

One of the best colleges to join in Karnataka.

Placements: Placement for my batch was very good; almost every student got placed. And at the same time, few students got the internship from college. Almost all the students from few branches got placed, but at the same time, the college can improve on this point, to increase the placement percentage.

Good infrastructure, good students, bad teachers. Not too many places to wander about in the city.

Placements: Placements were moderate this year. For mechanical students, the placement was comparatively lesser than the electronics and CS departments. 10 LPA is the highest package till now and TCS takes most of the students. The average salary offered is 4 LPA. The placements will start from the 7th sem. Most of the students who have a CGPA of 7 get placed in companies easily.

A good college with good atmosphere and one can select this college.

Placements: It is good, but most of the companies are of software. These software companies take only software oriented students, but we also need core companies which is useful for us, and the companies are good the maximum salary offered was 11 lakh per annum, so the college is the best and one could select this college.

SIT is one of the best institutes in Karnataka, and has beautiful infrastructure, good placements.

Placements: Our senior placements were good. For our batch, it will be better. In every department, almost 80% of the students get placed during campus selection, and rest go for their higher studies. Recent, a company visited our college, and they offer 30 lakhs per annum, and we have an average of 3.5 lakhs per annum salary offered.

The college with nice faculty, placement, infrastructure & facilities.

Placements: In our college, placement opportunities are more. Nearly 75-85% of the students will be placed. The salary offered will be in the range of 3.5-9 lakhs per annum, and sometimes more than that also, depending on the company and their basics. Soft skill classes will be conducted which help in the interviews.

Work is worship. I am blessed to have studies under Swami.

Placements: In the year 2016-17, 98 students got placed out of the 120. The highest package offered is Rs. 6.08 lakhs per annum and the lowest offer is Rs. 3.80 lakhs per annum. Many companies (around 100) visit our campus. 50 percent students get the internship from the college. The kinds of roles offered to the students are HR, employee and team leader.

The average college with good placements.

Placements: The placement records are quite appreciable, but less number of core companies visit our campus. TCS is the mass recruiter for our college. On the whole, anyone will get placed, but it depends on the individual at last. If you are in CS, ECE branch student, then you'll get placed easily.

The basic assets of an engineering college and some important features of SIT.

Placements: Placements in our college are good since many companies come to recruit students with attractive packages. Considerable placements occur in EC, CS, IS, and mechanical engineering. Students who are already recruited in a company are also allowed to attend better companies in the next semesters. Usually, at the end of the sixth semester, students above a cutoff CGPA are allowed to take entrance tests.

I am satisfied with everything in the college except the strictness.

Placements: Most of the placements are in software companies. You can least expect core companies. There were around 5 to 6 core companies in this year, and the annual package for the core is around 4 lakhs. Being in electronics and communication, you will be expected to get a job in software, so you have to be thorough with your programming basics.

It's a good college with zero percent ragging and campus is really good.

Placements: Approximately 70% students get placed. Almost all good students get placed. There were 10 core and 10 IT companies for mechanical. For computer science, in every 2-3 days, one company came for placement. The placement department was very helpful, and before placement, they will provide all details of company and aptitude class for 4th-year students.

I am not satisfied will all the faculty members.

Placements: The placements are not yet done. The placements are quite good. Most of them are in TCS. Good teaching staff in some branches are best, but here you have to mug up more than learning. Please do not come here for degree. Come for knowledge and grab it with both the hands. The placements for senior was good. Above, 60% of the students are placed. I'll rate 3.5 out of 5.

It's a descent college with good placements and average facilities.

Placements: There are decent placements. You can have hopes and belief in the placement department. A little bit of hard work is needed, and you can easily get placed in a decent company. Make sure to match all the eligibility criteria like marks, cut-offs and no current backlogs. Programming is a must to learn if you want a good package and get placed in a good IT firm.
