College is known for extra curriculum activity, there is lots of club from aeronautics to cultural. However, college is strict on attendance. About faculty members, mostly in my department they were above 50 years old having PhD degree. Their concepts were good. However I like to mention that there are also some faculty members that are there to just skew your concept.

It's a very good college for those who are looking for great career with faculty members having an industrial background and their technical expertise makes it an ideal environment for students to gain academic as well as practical exposure. The main issue with this college is the lack of exposure provided to the students by the authority. The restrictive environment does not help the students to think freely and work smartly either it forces the students to work hard. This hard work may let th...

My department CSE has the best faculty and resources in the entire college. Our college is autonomous, which means that all the decisions regarding the curriculum are taken by the faculty of the department. One drawback of this system is a frequent revision of syllabus, but other than that it works mostly to our advantage. The college follows continuous internal evaluation and there are two internal tests, four quizzes, and one semester exam in each subject. My department has been recording 100%...

Lush green campus . nearby to Bangalore experienced faculty and resources. 2 storey building dedicated to library housing 50000+ books publications and journal. updated courses and electives such as nanotechnology and remote sensing. administration a little unwilling to work . causes unnecessary delays in activities.

I studied my engineering from Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur. This is one of the best colleges which comes under COMED-K. The college has an extra ordinary campus of 63 acres. It includes one full blown stadium, a hostel for all the four years and respective departments. Cafeteria of SIT is very beautiful and is octagonal. So over all SIT has a very high class of infrastructure. The college organizes many fests. The conduct IEEE workshops which are very beneficial for students. The m...

Awesome campus with lots of greenery all around, good placements and faculty too. Wi-Fi is average and hostel food is above average, Tests are conducted on a regular basis which can be both, planned as well as surprise in nature. I would suggest others to join this college.

It was a nice experience 4 years there in SIT. We friends enjoyed a lot. Education is best in there. 100 % placements happen here. Exposure is good in this college. All kind of activities are held here e.g. curricular, fests, gaming, project exhibition and lots more.

It is one of the most reputed colleges with fully equipped labs with experienced faculty and regular classes are conducted. Surprise tests are taken so that students stay up-to-date with the subjects, equal weightage is given for internal and external exams. Placements are good in our college, more than 70 companies visit.

Our college is very good with good infrastructure, courses, placements and research facilities. It is worth studying BE in SIT especially for branches like CSE, Mechanical and Civil. I would suggest not to take up ECE and TCE at SIT since the faculty members are not up to the mark with respect to knowledge.

It is an excellent college for engineering because of campus infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placement rate is from 70-90%. The salary packages may vary from 8 LPA - 20 LPA. Several companies came for recruitment, including IT giants like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and other top recruiters including multinational companies like Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and others.

Placements are up to the mark, but it is mostly in IT companies.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed, but mostly in IT companies. If you are looking to go for core companies, you have to apply off-campus because a minimum number of core companies visit the college, and they also prefer CGPA criteria. Even placements are good, but almost everyone got 1-2 offers.

Review of Siddaganga Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements are good for CS and IS department students. Circuit branches like ECTC have average placements as we can expect some core companies to visit our college for placement drives. For branches like mechanical, civil, chemical biotech, placements are not up to the mark because of the lack of core companies, so most of the student get IT jobs.

SIT is a decent college to pursue MCA.

Placements: Placements have always been a challenging part for MCA department. Though placement officials and department staff were successful in inviting some 4-5 companies, None of us got selected. Many went till last round and didn't get selected. In off-campus selection, the department has made an effort in inviting companies, and we attended the interviews in respective companies and got selected as interns. Most of them from our batch got employed in the same company they were working as an intern, an...
