    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is BE/BTech at Siddhant College of Engineering worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

    Pros:

    * Good faculty: Many students appreciate the qualifications and support of the teachers.
    * Well-designed curriculum: The curriculum is structured to prepare students for industrial requirements and future prospects.
    * Infrastructure: The college provides all necessary facilities, including Wi-Fi, libraries, and hostels.
    * Nature-filled surroundings: The college's location amidst natural surroundings adds to its charm.

    Cons:

    * Placement concerns: While some students report decent placements, many express disappointment and frustration with the lack of top companies visiting the campus.
    * Low internships: Limited internship opportunities, especially unpaid ones, may hinder students' career growth.
    * Poor teaching habits: A few teachers are reported to be absent due to payment issues, which affects student learning outcomes.
    * Limited campus life: Few events and fests are organized by the college, leading to a relatively quiet campus atmosphere.

    Placements:

    * Average placement record: About 20-30% of students are placed annually.
    * Salary packages: The highest package offered is around INR9 lakhs, while the average is around INR5 lakhs.
    * Recruiters: Small startups and local companies visit the campus, along with occasional visits from bigger names like IBM, TCS, and Wipro.

In conclusion, while Siddhant College of Engineering offers some positives, such as good faculty and infrastructure, it falls short in terms of placements and campus life. For those seeking a more vibrant academic environment and stronger placement records, alternative options might be considered. However, for those willing to adapt to the limitations, the college still provides a solid foundation in engineering education.

Based on the reviews from students and alumni, here's how the course curriculum is structured for BE/BTech:

    * Curriculum: The course curriculum is decided by Savitribai Phule University, which means it is standardized and follows a set framework.
    * Topics Covered: The curriculum covers all core topics required for future use, according to some students.
    * Industrial Preparation: Although some students felt that the curriculum does not make students ready for the industry, others mentioned that it helps prepare students for industrial work.

Not so good faculty, placements are not so good, and decent infrastructure.
Placements: I am currently in the 2nd year of computer engineering. As far as I have seen placements are not that good. Only 10-20 students got placed but with a very low salary package of 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Our college also provides internships at TCS and Codernet, but they are unpaid. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Companies that have recruited are TCS, Codernet, and Byju's. Around 10-15% of students got internships through campus in the last month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very good. Only the entrance can attract you. The building is not very good. There is no Wi-Fi for students. The lab is good. The library is not good for studying. I am in the hostel. The hostel facility is pretty good but the mess food is not that good.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are qualified and educated. They have knowledge. The course doesn't make students industry-ready because they only teach at a student level. Semester exams are not very hard. The passing mark is 40 of 100. Our faculty teaches everything for theory papers. The exam is conducted in the college only.
Other: The campus is big. It has a volleyball ground and a cricket ground. Many scholarships are available for students. If they want to apply, they can. The campus must be clean and have Wi-Fi for students.

Review of Siddhant College of Engineering.
Placements: Placement is less but faculty is good. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. There are not top companies but good startup companies hire from this college. Internship is in the third year by university. Developed role, Marketing role, and software role.
Infrastructure: All required facilities are provided by the college and infrastructure is good, and the surrounding is also good. Hostels provide all facilities but there is a need for a little improvement in the canteen. Food is average and feels are also high. Sports and games are conducted by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and understand the situations of students; they cooperate with students. Teaching is above average. The curriculum is well-designed and is useful for students. The curriculum covers all topics required for industrial purposes and for future aspects also.

College is average not so good not so bad.
Placements: This course is started recently from year 2024. The first batch of this course will pass out in year 2028 so the information about faculty and placement for this course is not available and it can't be predicted about the teaching staff and resources available for course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent of the college and hostel classes of first year are conducted regularly and practical are also taken in the college but some resources for practical are not available. Labs are decent level. Talking about hostel it is good.
Faculty: This branch is started in siddhant College of Engineering this year so it is not possible to give the information about this course but talking about first year teaching staff is good and Co curriculum activities are also taken in first year and practical are also taken.
Other: Events and fest are of decent level but college is little far from city nearby here is a village. Extra curriculum activities like sport, yoga, karate and other are taken.

Avoid negative things; focus on positive things.
Placements: Placement is average. 20-30 percent of students are placed from my batch. The highest package is 9 Lacs and the lowest package is 2.5 Lacs. There are small companies; there are no big companies. There is compulsory internship in 3-year college provide guidance for that.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good and the surrounding is full of nature. Every department is good, but in some cases, there is no faculty for teaching. The hostel is good; all facilities are available in the hostel but it is very expensive. You can take a room on rent; it's better.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful; they support all students. The curriculum is decided by the university; it covers all core topics required for future use. Semesters are taken by the university and it has a moderate level; you can pass easily. Passing criteria will be 40 percent.
Other: All sports activities are performed.

Not good for placement if you have taken this college.
Placements: I feel disappoint with the placement opportunities offered by our college. The top companies that come for recruitment are IBM, TCS, Wipro, and others. However, the college doesn't help us much when it comes to finding internships. If they provide any assistance, it's usually for paid internships where we have to pay for the opportunity. Most of the students end up getting placed Through off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at our college is generally good, but there have been some maintenance issues lately. The arrival of new principal has led to significant changes. We now have Wi-Fi available, but we have to ask the teachers for the password. The computer labs are not in best condition, as some of the PCs are not working properly. Although there is a LAN network, the connectivity is unreliable. On a positive note, the hostel is well-maintained, and the ground is spacious and in good shape and outside student are not allowed in hostel even college student.
Faculty: Teacher was qualified and supportive mainly our HOD sir, semester exams are so difficult in our college and passing marks are 40 College is sppu under curriculum is little bit hard because most of the students showing their face only exam time I personally don't recommend this college for engineering.

Everything about siddhant college of engineering.
Placements: College placement is not good whose aiming big companies it gives jobs in mass hiring companies TCS, capgemini and cognizant with 3.8lpa package. Only 50% students placed because of lack of aptitude and interview experience college need to arrange placement sessions. Internships started from 3rd sem only 2 MNC companies give 5 students 6 month paid internship.
Infrastructure: College campus is out of city, it size and greenery was good infrastructure is good. Classrooms are so nice every thing including library is fine. But no extra curricular activities arranged in 3 years, no Wi-Fi is in campus. Hostel is available it mess food charges are seperate food quality is good fruits and many verities are in food. For sports college have coach, cricket kit and court.
Faculty: The faculty is good and understanding, there teaching is good. They give proper attention to students and there concept are clear so it easy to understand what they are teaching. Teachers are pretty hill we can interact any time. College follow sppu timetable is bad, syllabus is good. Difficult level of exam is 3 out of 5.
Other: College feels is little bit affordable it nearly 70,000rs per year and scholarship also given by DBT 50% for OBC.
