Regarded as one of the best colleges in Mumbai. But does't really live upto its name.

Placements: No company visited college for B.Sc. CS students. We were directed for pool campuses by placement cell if we fulfilled the campus criteria marks (60%and above). The average salary offered was 2.3LPA. The roles offered was of operational trainee/executive.

Good Crowd, Good Teachers, Good Life.

Placements: The college has an individual placement cell. Even though majority of my batch mates didn't opt for a placements, there are various sectors coming in to get workforce for their respective industries. Also the alumni helps a lot with networking inside the industry which makes it easier. During my year the students had organized a job fair as well.

Amazing experience of college with SIES, good placement planning and brilliant infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were really nice. A large number of companies were there for the interview. Before the interview, various rounds were held like GD, aptitude test etc. Overall, the experience was good as said by our seniors. All companies were hiring different profiles like marketing, HR, sales and accounting along with media profiles.

Sides College - A Challenge or Struggle. It absolutely depends on how you take it.

Placements: For a subject like physics there are no placements as such cause there is no direct application of physics. But yes some companies did come for offering us jobs of sales, etc. Yes for course like B.M.M. BMS, B.A. B.Com there are many companies coming in. Students have a really good opportunity.

Best college ever in every sides like teaching enjoying etc.

Placements: The placement of our college was excellent. There were 4-5 companies who came to our college for placements. Most of the students were placed from our college. We also had a placement department and placement notice board where we used to get detailed information about the job and the company. Companies like TCS, WNS, P3 etc. came to our college for placements.

A college that makes you a better person.

Placements: SIES college doesn't provide any direct placements, but I want to say that the quality of education is really good. The one who passes out from SIES, he or she can get a better job easily with a good salary, as well as they can secure their future with better education.

Review of SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce (SIES MUMBAI).

Placements: The placements in our college are at par compared to Don Bosco College of Engineering, Vidyavihar. Many companies visit the college for placements. Capgemini, Infosys and L&T Infotech conduct placement drives. From our batch of 40 students, around 15 got placed in these companies. Students were hired as software associates. The highest salary was offered by L&T Infotech, of Rs. 18,000 as gross salary per month.

A top college, a college I would recommend all my friends to join it.

Placements: The active placement programmes were held for the students to get placed. The college made it easy for the students with the procedures. The college's top-notch is the proper management. Many of my friends got placed through the efforts of the college, so overall, very good for newcomers. Companies like TCS, etc., visit the college.

SIES is just an average college overall.

Placements: There is no scope for placement in this college for the students who have graduated in Arts stream. There are many majors in his college, e.g. history, economics, politics, English literature, etc. However, if one completes their graduation in science or commerce, there is some scope of the internship.

SIES is a dream college, and it helps in the education.

Placements: When it comes to placements, well-reputed companies do turn up and hire students from sides. But during my academic days, no company placements were there as far as physics field were concerned. We never attended any interviews or company organised seminars as compared to other streams in the college.

I would suggest joining here only if your needs are fulfilled, and see everything before joining.

Placements: SIES has a good placements cell. I'm a B.Sc. IT student and we have got placements coming from LTI, Deloitte, Media.net, Capgemini, Infosys till now. Half of my classmates got placed as our students have been performing well as compared to the others. We are looking forward to TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra to come in our college. Apart from our department students, SIES has a good placement cell for the other streams as well. My friends from the other streams are also got placed. So, people join...

The best college in Sion, Mumbai.

Placements: I did not opt the course with a placement guarantee. After completing my course at this college, I was able to find a good job on my own as being a student at this college. I was exposed to a lot of things, where my skills and the abilities were polished and me a good person now.

We have a great faculty and staff members.

Placements: There were no placements for biological sciences in our college. But the students have gone abroad or have got seats in the top science colleges in India for their M.Sc, e.g., MSU, Gujarat. The placements were available for the non-biological courses like physics, maths, statistics and chemistry. The companies like TCS and Infosys came. The minimum salary offered was Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,000.

Satisfied with the college. Good environment study. Friendly and helpful faculty. More placements.

Placements: In the college, placement will never happen, but they give information regarding campus interview of other college and schedules the interview, then they allow you to go for interview by providing leave for the day. They scheduled my interview in Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc.

SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce's review.

Placements: The placements are pretty decent. These days, a majority of the companies have the concept of pool campus wherein a company calls all the students from that department to one particular common point. And the news was conveyed to us by the management in a decent way. There were 10+ companies which included Wipro, IGATE(now known as Capgemini), TCS, Infosys, Syntel, Tech Mahindra, etc.

Dissatisfied because of the lack of quality education.

Placements: Only 2-3 companies visit the campus every year including TCS and Kotak. The average salary is between Rs. 1,00,000-Rs. 1,50,000. Roles offered were mostly back-office jobs in different industries. Internship placements were very low from the college, excluding students doing articleships for CA.

Good college with sub-par infrastructure, with a good repuration. Placements should be improved.

Placements: The placements for my batch weren't great. In fact, it wasn't good at all. My senior batch was also the same, if not worse. Hardly 5 students were placed. The highest package was not more than 2.5 or 3 LPA which only 1 guy got. Lowest was around 1.8 LPA. Icici Bank and TCS were the only 2 companies that visited our college. We got finance executive jobs. No company came for internships also.

An interesting place to study.

Placements: There was hardly any placement. Only 8-10% of the students were placed, and the salary ranged from 1,20,000 to 2,40,000. The companies which visited our college were ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and TCS to name a few. The job description offered to the students was for back office position.

The best college. It’s not over the top and has a simple middle class crowd, due to which there's no show off. Education has been a priority here. Professors here make an effort to teach and explain and are available even during exam times to help. College atmosphere is good and faculty members are well educated.
