An honest review of SIES College of Commerce and Economics.

Placements: Since we are from the online batch, there were many internships opportunities for students to get some practical knowledge about the field. Almost 60 to 70% of students got internships. Many finance-related companies have provided placements for the students in accounting and finance courses.

I have done my intermediate too, and I would recommend it to others.

Placements: About 30% of the students got placement in B.Com. The highest salary package offered is about 6 LPA, the minimum salary package offered is about 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is about 3 LPA. Top MNCs are recruiting B.Com students. Roles offered are either banking jobs or accountants.

There are good faculty members, which is the main attractive thing of our college.

Placements: Around 20%-25% of the students were provided placements in our course. We are not made aware of the correct salary packages offered, but they approximately range between 2.5 LPA-3.5 LPA. Companies majorly from the finance sector visit here for placements. None of the students was provided internships in our course. B.Com does not have much importance, and roles related to customer management were offered among the top roles.

Our college is good to build our career.

Placements: Almost 45% to 50% of the students are placed every year. Placements depend on students' performance. The minimum criteria for placement are to get more than 60% in academics, and most important is to clear the interview. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 to 12,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our course are LTI, Deloitte, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys and TCS.

It is not a second-tier college.

Placements: SIES has an amazing placement cell, which provides a lot of opportunities. Some reputed recruiters are corporates like JP Morgan, ICIC Prudential, HDFC Standard Life, NIIT and Tata Consultancy Services. In total, 78 students got recruited in the year 2018-2019, 82 students in the year 2017-2018, 142 students in the year 2016-2017, and 38 students in the year 2015-2016. However, it is a commerce college, so most of the recruiters here are for students from a commerce background. I am currently pu...

Placements are dissatifiing but overall a good experience.

Placements: The placements is one aspect where the college is lacking. Very few companies actually come for placements or rather said not even good companies come for recruiting. In the last 2 or 3 years, placements cell has failed to come up with good companies for recruitment.

Our college provides good job opportunities.

Placements: Companies were coming to recruit students from final year. Many students got placed in top companies like EY and many banks like HDFC, ICICI, Birla and many other companies. The interview procedure was very hard, and students need to have more knowledge to get selected by companies. But for average students it was quite good.

Our college provides good faculty and infrastructure. Our college should provide more placements.

Placements: I am not aware of any placement programs, and neither I am aware of any companies that visit our college for placements. Our college should invite good companies for placements. Only training programmes were held. But after the final semester, our college does not invite good companies for placements.

The teaching staff are good and very helpful.

Placements: The number of companies coming for placements and internship was limited as far as the number of student intake of the institute is concerned. The salary packages offered to students were quite decent enough for a graduate student. Also, SIES holds a good reputation, so there won't be much problem even if you apply off-campus as far as the institute is concerned because it's well-recognised.

A review of SIES College of Commerce and Economics.

Placements: The college offers good placements. The salaries offered are around Rs. 20,000 to 30,000 per month, and the salaries depend on the calibre of students. Many companies like Amul, many banks, etc., visit our college and recruit students. Majority of the students who got placed were either from CA or any other professional course. You can get placed if you have good skills.

The college has amazing faculty members, a good set of facilities and much more.

Placements: Placement opportunities in our college are good but not great in comparison to other colleges. Only students who have a good CV have the chance of getting selected while others have a tough time being placed. Overall, it is not the worst as it is more difficult to get placed without the support of the college.

The College you enjoy but the study you don't.

Placements: The placements are common for all and they have no discrimination between courses. The maximum you can get after pursuing your Bachelors is a BPO Job through campus placements. There is no separate job placement cell and the maximum you can get is around 10-15k per month through campus placements.
