Siescoms is pretty good in terms of ROI. But I would recommend it only for freshers. The faculty is not that great except for a few external facilities. Attendance is quite strict in the first year, but after the 3rd semester you can join anywhere as a full-time employee.
This college is one of the best B-schools. It has good infrastructure. the faculty members are great. Alumni meets are arranged so that we can get to know their experience. Guest lectures from various business leaders are arranged which provides us guidance. The industrial internship program is pretty good.
The college has a very good environment. Classes are very interactive with well-known faculty members as teachers who have got years of industry experience. Lots of case studies and presentation are done by students and also there are enormous industrial visits. College library is well equipped with a large number of good books and easy accessibility to them is given to students. College infrastructure is also very good with separate rooms for lectures and training are available there. All stu...
SIESCOMS is ranked well among colleges in Mumbai. The college focuses on academic excellence and developing students in a holistic manner. It also has a good placement scenario with a good return on investment. SIES is a good place to get a better understanding of the corporate environment and developing your personality better to fit the corporate world.
The classes are interactive and do not pressurize the students much and the teaching faculty is not good. Infrastructure is good but the canteen is very bad. Placements are good for marketing than other streams. Campus life is also good and teachers also share a positive attitude towards the students and always try to motivate them.
SIESCOMS is decent college. To be a part of such a college feels great. The campus life is good. Extra-curricular activities take place throughout the year. The faculty members are quite good for Marketing and decent for other streams. Placements are better for Marketing, in terms of companies participating. In terms of exposure, it’s good. Eminent corporates come over to interact with students.
SIESCOMS ranks amongst the top 10 colleges in Mumbai. SIES has very good placement records in marketing with around 90% placements, with an average of rupees 5-7 lakhs per annum. The college has a great library to sit back and gain knowledge, Equipped with great facilities and infrastructure. There are few drawbacks like college doesn’t have its own sports ground. But overall, it’s a great college for people who are looking quality education within Maharashtra.
SIESCOMS is a decent college in terms of ROI. It has a good campus and infrastructure. The faculty members are good as well and also the crowd is decent. The main problem with the college is the management and it does not do proper branding and marketing of the college and hence, SIESCOMS is not much known to people. Also, it is a bit orthodox sort of college. But if you are looking for a college with low fees, then SIESCOMS is really a good college, with a decent ROI.
Good aspects are - experienced faculty members, better placement record, good companies from every sector coming for placement, excellent ROI, and good college for freshers. Bad aspects are - poor infrastructure, less industrial visits, very few events and extracurricular activities.
Positives: ROI is great. Faculty, except a few, are brilliant and supportive. Infrastructure is quite decent. Negatives: Not concerned with other curricular activities and only focuses on management events. Allows only 3 students to go to an event and their attendance is considered only if they won that event. If you get selected in any particular company through campus, then you have no choice of rejecting it, you will have to work there no matter what.
The college had some very good professors like Prof. Neelkanthan, Prof Vazirani who along with concepts also taught actual industry scenarios. It has a good library. Major skill sets like excel presentations and actual industry requirements are not taken care of. Placements could have been carried out effectively with more contacts to get good companies and good packages. There is no attempt at the increase in meager packages made by the college.
Traveling is not a problem, one can get share autos from Nerul station. Den the infrastructure, SIESCOMS has a decent infrastructure, with cafeteria, canteen, a Xerox shop, labs for finance, gymnasium which has some indoor sports facilities. Since the culture of SIESCOM is conservative they don't have great infra for sports. There is just one ground where you can play football, cricket, badminton, and other sports. A small ground where you can play football and other sports. If you are a foodie,...
This is an average college because of its average placement record and average faculty. The ROI is good. It can be better by including a better placement team. It has good infrastructure but a poor canteen facility and food. The faculty is supportive towards the students. The college has a good location as far as commuting is concerned. Overall, an average college with better ROI than many over hyped colleges.
The college campus facilities and exposure are fabulous. The placements are between average and good. The fee structure at my time of joining was acceptable and not much and you get a good ROI. We can say that some of the faculty is not up to the mark due to which the college is losing its reputation. Grounds for outdoor activities such as cricket and football are not available, also the college is not encouraging students to take part in sports. The annual fest needs to be encouraged by the col...
The college is excellent in academics, placements are decent. ROI of the college is excellent and overall environment provides a great platform to learn and excel. Good amount of market exposure and practical approach towards business. According to me, the college needs to promote itself so that the crowd gets better and have a uniform mix of all cultures. The infrastructure needs to improve, especially the classroom environment and ambience. The faculty is really friendly and approachable.
To be very honest, SIESCOMS was something which just happened to me and the variables on which I took the decision of entering the college were typical of themselves namely, quality of education, affordability, and its brand value. SIESCOMS has good professors not only to teach but also to encourage and review our performance. Not all professors can be stated as excellent. The college also encourages internal and external events which help us in knowing and improving our position with respect ...
SIES College of Management Studies is a college which boasts about the values, ethics, and ethos on which it runs, and imbibes on its students. This institute has a mix of very good faculty, with great industry experience. On the downside, the institute still lacks momentum with which it should undertake different initiatives for the overall development of the students. Except a few, the placements are above average.
The good thing about the college is that they have experienced Faculty Members and provide decent placements. Classes are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies, and presentations. An equal weightage of 50% is given to both Internal and External exams. Tests are conducted on a regular basis which can be both, planned as well as surprise in nature. The bad thing about the college is that they still believe in traditional forms of teaching. Pre-placement prepa...
SIES-COMS is a college (2002) opened recently and has decent infrastructure. The teachers are well-informed and help students. Extra-curricular activities are highly encouraged. The college has cultural fests which act as stress busters between semesters. The canteen serves decent food and the college is in proximity to some good food joints. One hiccup of the campus is that it is common for engineering who are in MBA, B.Com, and BSc which makes the college crowd. Placements in the college have ...
It is one of the reputed colleges and has a good ranking in the field which I wanted to do the course. So I opted for this particular course and the good thing is about the faculty, they are all friendly and supporting. Ragging is not at all entertained here. The campus is a bit small but manageable enough when it comes with a reputation of the college and scoring good marks.
