I am absolutely satisfied because of the college faculty and their placement opportunities.

Placements: There are 80 students total in my course. 90% of students got placement from this college. The highest package in my course is 20 lacs per year and the average package is 8 lacs per year. Google and Amazon are the top recruiting companies for my course. 80% of students got internships from my course at Amazon, Flipkart and Google. Software engineering and data science are the top roles offered in my course.

Placements: Around 30-40% students were placed in campus. The highest package was of 34LPA and the lowest was 2.8 LPA and average is 3.8-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for this year was P360 otherwise wipro, cognizant, accenture are the top companies. Students get internship is very less like 1-3% in like Microsoft and other companies like that. Top role offered is SDE.

Our college has a good campus and great ambiance.

Placements: Around 40% of the students got placed with a reasonable package, while the others have different plans. Infosys, Adhunik Infrastructure, Byjus, etc. were the companies. Training or internship is provided by the company only for 3-4 months after graduation is completed.

SIT operates under MAKAUT, and it was previously known as WBUT.

Placements: Placements are getting better each year. Placements for the last few years, i.e., from 2015 onwards, are above average with healthy support from all the honorable teachers. It is the biggest engineering college in North Bengal, which is handled by Techno Group of Colleges.

Average kind of college with good teaching quality.

Placements: It's a quite decent College with average recruitment. Mostly jobs are offered from companies like TCS and Wipro. Companies like Intel and Microsoft do hire some. Here you have the DSC (Developer Students Club) which is being manged by the developers of Google.

The college has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 58% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is less than 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is less than 4.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is less than 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are DXC, TCS, Byju's and Capgemini. Around 59 to 60% of the students got an internship in Virtusa and ZS Associates. Companies give students internship opportunities. Besides that, they offered many seminars and sessions on various projects in the cou...

Placements: 3 students got placed out of 77. The percentage is very low. The highest salary was 25k/month and the lowest was 10k/month. Just one student got placed in a good company, other than that just a local company offered jobs. 3. HR Johnson is the top recruiting company, other than all local company. 4. Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements.

Placements: Our college has a placement cell. Head of placement cell is the Head of techno India group. He meets us occasionally and briefs us about current stage of placement areas. We got a great idea regarding current scenario. We have come to know what amount of effort is needed.

The core subjects are not good because of faculty, but the placements and facilities are good.

Placements: The previous year, the placements were a few as only 15 students got jobs out of 150 students. But in the civil and electrical department, there are no placements on the campus. The companies like Nasscom, Wipro, Intel, Infosys, etc., visit the campus for the placements. In my opinion, if you take admission in this college, you choose CSE and IT department. There is 0% placement in our department.

Placements: In our college placements are superb. In last few years, many big companies like Microsoft, Intel, TCS, ThoughtWorks and many more came to our college for placements. Many students get placed every year. Our college is a good college regarding campus drive.

Placements: This year, only 10 out of 90 students have been placed from campus till date. But the highest package offered was 10 Lacs and the lowest was 3 Lacs. 3 students got placed with 10 Lacs package, 2 in McCafee and 1 in Intel. 1 got placed in ThoughtWorks with a package of 8 Lacs. 3 students got placed in Byju's with 9 Lacs package. 1 got placed in BOSCH with 4.5 Lacs package and 2 got in Virtusa with a package of 3 Lacs. The review of SIT on placement, infrastructure, and faculty members.

Placements: The placements are okay in case of other departments, but it's zero in case of civil department. Last year, only two students got placement from this college. This college needs to upgrade its placement, or otherwise, it will affect the students, but the placements are okay in case of CSE, EE, and ECE.

Placements: 0% placement in the year 2017-18 in Civil engineering department. Before our Batch also placement is negligible. In other branches like CSE and it their is lots of scope. But other branches placement is negligible in the year 2017 -18 the place is all overall 2%.

There is good infrastructure. The location of the college is the best. But, placements are poor.

Placements: No placement is provided for the students of core branches in core sector. TCS selects 2-3 students per year. Apart from this, there is nothing great about placements; they are too bad. The placement cell doesn't work efficiently. One has to go for off-campus placements. No one in the placement cell listens to students.

Don't ever think of joining the college.

Placements: Placements are a myth in this college. They bring in fake companies to show that they are bringing companies. In my batch only 10% of the students are placed in Bostch, Intel, Mcafee, Byju. Each of the above mentioned companies took the toppers and no luck for the average scoring students even if they have fulfilled the criteria.

Review of SIT - Siliguri.

Placements: In the year 2015, the placement was very less because just 30-40 students got placed among 300(it is the strength of engineering discipline). In 2016, TCS offered jobs to approx. 42 students. Apart from that, approx. 100 students placed in various reputed companies like Throughtworks, Robert Bosch, Ericsson, Lava, etc. In 2017, approx. 150 students were placed and the companies which recruited are NASSCOM groups, few startups, BOSE, Shriram etc. This data is applicable only for CSE, IT & ECE. ...

It is an average college with average fees. Nothing special about it. If someone wants to travel a lot, then one should come to this college. You can travel a lot since many hill stations are nearby. The faculty members are not good. They act like they know everything and more often mislead you for some of your doubts. Some of senior Faculty members are really good though, and are quiet helpful. Placements: Placements in our college were fairly good despite there will be highly competitions all around. Above 50% of the students got placed this year. The highest salary package offered this year was 12 LPA. Reputed companies like Wipro, Accenture, Intel, Byju's, TCS, etc., visited our campus and recruited students who fairly impressed them.
