Sinhgad College of Engineering Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Vadgaon Budruk, Pune

Placements: Placements of our batch were not good. Around 30% of the students got placed in 2017. The average salary packege offered was just 3.5 LPA. Only a few students from the core companies got placed. Most of the students were placed in companies like Cognizant and Accenture. As far as the internships are concerned, less than 10% of the students got internships from our college with a stipend of less than Rs. 2,000. The placement cell of our college needs to be improved.

Placements: Placements for the civil and mechanical departments were not good, but the placements for the IT, computer science and electronics engineering departments were decent enough. It's hard to say the exact placement number, but around 80%-85% of the students were placed with a minimum salary of 2.15 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 7.9 LPA. We also have a placement cell in our college, and it is very useful as it guides students to get placed by helping them whenever required.

Placements: A very efficient placement cell is present for the students' benefit, placement training and technical skill development lectures are provided to the students participating in the placement drives, and these seem to be working as more than 90% students get placed every year. Placement cell doesn't help with any internships.

Placements: I had graduated in 2017 from civil engineering. The college offers a bachelor's degree in the fields of mechanical, civil, IT, CS, and E&TC. Overall, placements are average here with most of the companies from the IT sector visiting the campus. Placements: The placements for our batch was good. Also for our senior batch. The average package was 3.5. Oracle, Accenture, Tata, Infosys, mindtree, Mahindra, Nvidia, Amdocs, Byju visited our campus. Nvidia offered the highest package, according to me. The kind of roles were development and testing. Internship was not compulsory in our curriculum. So not many people opted for the internship.

Placements: The placements were fine, I would comment. There were as many as 80 percent of students who had appeared for placements rounds. Placement were affected by some college issue like the salary Issue. The highest package offered was of about 8 lacs rupees. The lowest being 2 lac and average of about 4 lac rupees. Placements: This college is good to get IT jobs. The placement experience is one of the best for mechanical students. Placements for our batch were good, but I decided to go for higher studies. This is the best college for studies, and the campus environment is good here. Internships are also provided in the college, and students got good placement experience. Placements: Placement alumni are very active here as placement drives of all colleges under Sinhgad Technical Education Society take place here in Sinhgad College of Engineering campus, Vadgaon, Pune. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the average salary package offered 4.5 LPA.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Almost all the students who opted for placements got placed. The highest salary package offered was 93 LPA. The average salary package offered was 7 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Siemens and Nielsons visited the campus for placements. Jobs were offered in various sectors, but most of them were in the IT sector.

Placements: Placements for CS and IT disciplines are decent. Numerous conferences and workshops are held throughout the year which helps students to get an all-round academic development and help them approach good companies with strong profiles. Students are quite happy with the T&P services of our college.

Placements: Many IT companies visit the campus to recruit students from our college, and the core companies are very few. There is no hope of placements for all students. Some may get placed, and others may have to go for IT or sales and marketing jobs.

There were lots of companies that visited our campus and offered different salary packages to students, ranging from 2.50 LPA-6 LPA. There were no internships offered to students by the college. Placements: In our college, there are no issues related to placements as they are good. Students also go for higher education. I am very happy that I am a student of Sinhgad College. A few months ago, more than 2000 students were placed from college. So, don't worry about placements here.

Placements: The college offered very good placements, and seniors were placed in very good companies with quite good salary packages. But, some of the companies didn't visit for campus placements last year, and many students didn't get placed in their dream companies. But, the students got good salary packages.

The salary package offered by a mass recruiter is up to 4 LPA. Mu Sigma also visits the campus and offers a high salary package.

Placements: The college provides a lot of opportunities in the IT sector, but the core mechanical students have tight competition as every branch of Sinhgad Institute visits the main campus for placements. The process is good, and the training and placement cell cooperates pretty well. They make good use of their contacts, but again, an individual should focus on themselves, so that chances of getting placed would increase.

The average package offered was about 3 LPA. Computer and IT students had better opportunities in terms of placements as they had good companies and decent packages. In the case of internships, many students successfully got internships in their respective fields. The placement cell needs to be much more effective and efficient.

Placements: The average salary package offered this year was 4.5 LPA. Around 1223 students got placed this year in different IT companies. The college has achieved a record of placing a huge number of students among the colleges in Maharashtra. A huge number of students got placed this year. Nearly 500 students were placed in Infosys, and the rest were placed in some other companies.

Placements: Placements of Sinhgad College of Engineering were not good in the year 2016. The job market was cold in that year, and only 3 out of 300 students were placed in core companies. Nearly 60% of the students were placed in IT companies. Majority of the batch did not get placed.
