Placements: There is a placement cell in our college for students, which also provides internship opportunities to students. There were 450 students in my batch, and out of 450, nearly 250 students got placed. Companies like Infosys, HCl, ICICI, HSBC Technologies were the major recruiters of our college.
Placements: Placements were not up to the mark as only 50% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was 4.8 LPA, lowest was 1.8 LPA and the average was 2.5-3 LPA. Companies like Insignia branding, Renfro India Pvt. Ltd, ITC, CCD, etc. visited the college for recruitment. Mostly management trainee roles were offered. Almost every student managed to get an internship with the help of college.
Placements: In MBA, there were 100% placements for MBA in marketing, for MBA-IT, the placements were 20%, and for MBA in finance, the placements were 20-30%. Student got internship through college and companies like- Aloha Technologies, Capgemeni, ATOS, Eternus, Asian paints, came for recruitment. Roles like- Trainee, Business Analyst, System analyst, Jr. Manager, BDE, BDM, etc. were offered to the students. Highest packages was 10 to 15 LPA and the lowest package was 2.4 LPA.
The college has nice infrastructure including on campus boys and girls hostel. Big spacious classrooms with projectors laptops provided to every student and special attention is paid to the physical fitness of the students. It provides good study material including in depth case studies of IIMs and Harvard.
Sinhgad Institute of Management is in Solapur. The faculty members were good as director of the college was too good. Infrastructure of the college is similar to any college in Pune. Canteen facility is available. Also, it provides bus pick and drop facility which I like the most, as college is too far from my home.
College faculty members was excellent. They always helpful for students. But placements are not up to the mark. We are charged with huge money as fees and hostel fees but initial package was not satisfactory. Overall college infra and facilities was good. There were huge number of students in that year, so that average placements was very less.
Placements: Placements of this college are quite good. Average package is 3-4 Lacs and the highest ranges about 7-8 Lacs per annum. But it all depends upon your knowledge and skills, how you perform and grab things. Their work is just to teach, further depends upon students.
