Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) - Batch of 2023

3.6

Good for studies in Ahmedabad.
Placements: Mostly in college, you need to have a 70%+ percentage. There is no placement available for the LL.B. course. Most of the students who can apply for internships got internships. Moot court competitions are available. In college, you have many opportunities available, which helps you build your career.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not available. You need to stay in PG, any other private hostel, or anything else because the college does not provide any type of hostel facility. You need to first search some places and choose any place for residential and food, with mostly many places nearby available.
Faculty: Many faculty come for lectures regularly. The curriculum is relevant because all syllabuses are shared by the university. Most of the exams were conducted internally and externally. The internal exam is conducted for practice purposes, but passing the external exam is very important.
Other: No hostel, no placement, and studying at other college is nice.

Satisfied because college is good.
Placements: No placement for government college here but sometimes GLS university may help you for placement. Many judge and experienced faculty are there to help you for placement. You can also join allumini club and refer yourself for placement by networking.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is so good that worth money and helpful for students. Actually this college building is built in the year 1935 so anyone can say it as ancient building. It's may be first law college in Ahmedabad established by Gujarat Law society.
Faculty: Faculty members in Sir L. A. Shah Law College is very good in term of experience and expertise. Expert and visiting faculty members are also there for subject specific requirements. Course curriculum is as per Gujarat University and UGC and Bar Council guidelines.

Good faculty with a great environment
Placements: As the college is looking after giving more of practical experience to the students the students get the internships easily at good lawyer firms which helps them to get good placements in return. Also, the college has given great lawyers and Judges to the country like Justice. J.C. Shah Sir and Justice A.M Ahmadi who has served as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India. This shows the exposure students get which surely helps us at large to get good placements.
Infrastructure: The overall facilities are good however the college is not much digitalized, though it has good classrooms in line with the available student capacity and a proper ventilation. Also, the library is having a good collection of books up to date with the current laws which help the students to get prepared for the exams.
Faculty: The faculty members are mostly practicing advocates who possess a great knowledge, having a touch with the current environment which helps students to understand the facts and laws precisely also a lot of efforts is laid by the faculty members, so that students understand the law practically rather than only having the theoretical knowledge which is a positive note when compared to other colleges.
Other: I still feel that if one who needs to be a good lawyer, he/she should go for Sir. LA Shah College as it is one of the top-ranked institutes in Gujarat University and also Gujarat for LLB. The overall experience is good and satisfactory with the college. With a great supportive faculty team and strict rules, one can feel a sense of learning which will be helpful at large in the coming future.

Yes, you can get admission in Gujarati medium, but it is too late, because LLB duration is 5 years and further study take many times. I think, you should go with Master’s degree in your subject.
