The college has a good teaching faculty with friendly staff. There is a wide campus to hang out at. Placements are good as compared to other colleges, a vast playground and other etc. It is located at the outskirts of Bangalore off airport road, a good location. Overall a good college.
SMVIT is a clean and peaceful environment for students to pursue their academic goals. personally, I had a great time there. I have always loved nature and serenity. SMVIT has a spacious campus & far spread blocks representing each branch. The main block that houses the branches CS, IS and EC & TC, has WIFI. Apart from the engineering disciplines, there is also a dental college and a hospital. There are 3 huge mechanical workshops where lathe, drilling and grinding machines are available. In eve...
SMVIT, is a great college. Some of the faculty members are really good. The Placements are good in the IT sector. Few core companies come for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering streams. The Campus is quite big and the crowd is okay. You will find all kinds of people here. But the college is not so supportive if you want to do any projects. So don't really expect any monetary assistance from the college. There is a lot of options in the sports field too. Hostel is worth living. The food is go...
Goods - 1. Already well known for the placements. Even during recession, college’s placements were outstanding 2. College stands in top 100 among Indian engineering colleges. 3. A 135 acre huge campus proving all sorts of sports amenities like ground for cricket, football, indoor and outdoor courts for badminton, basketball, tennis, etc. 4. TPO (placements officer) Sir S.H. Khan, the mastermind behind college's success. Bad- 1. Hostel food. But not a major issue because that's a problem faced by...
Campus spread over a spacious 130+ acres, Sir MVIT provides the quality education to cater the current businesses. Placements are the best thing about this college. All the eligible candidates will be placed for sure and might be holding multiple offers too. Also the college is ranked top among the premier institutes in Bangalore and Karnataka.
Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology having one of the largest campus in Bangalore of 140 acres and having 30 acres of sport complex. Good environment for study, teaching faculty are good but lack of Infrastructure and hostel food are not so good and Hostel Management Team are not friendly. Lack of campus facilities like drinking water, stationary shop, parking area. Need to improve canteen facilities and food quality, increase the number of coffee shop. Should improve the Library environ...
Placement is good, about 90% got placed every year but in IT sector, with an average package 3.2lakhs. For mechanical students, no core companies. Nothing for these guys. Placement in IT sector. If you guys are interested, you can join. Campus 2/5. Crowd 2/5. Hostel 4/5. Mess 2/5. Out of the city campus.
This college is located on the new international airport road. People commuting in BMTC bus will have to get down and walk about 1.5kms inside to reach the college campus or take an auto. BMTC Bus facility to college is very rare. If you are commuting in college bus or by your own vehicle, then no problem at all. It’s a very big campus and pretty old too. Placements are good and you get companies with a package of even 13L (only one person will be selected from CS/IS).
MVIT is an Institute of repute in the state of Karnataka. It is placed in top 10 colleges of Karnataka which is spread out in 133 acres of land. This college along with other colleges of Karnataka are for those students who are punctual i.e., those who can attend regularly. In almost all the colleges if you fall short by 75% attendance criterion-you will have to repeat the same year again. Teachers of this college are good and some are best but you have to work hard to get the best out of them....
It is one of the good colleges in Bangalore .It is better to describe college branch wise i.e.; Computer science, Information science, Telecommunication engineering, Electric engineering, Electrical and communication engineering and Mechanical engineering. For CS, IS, and telecom branch, placement is very good almost all the students get placed in IT company with average salary of 3-3.5lacs p.a. and some talented student who has good knowledge in coding gets the opportunities for top companies, ...
Good in placements. Good environment. Greenery. Not tech savy. Good for joining if interested to go for work as the placement is good. Not at all a tech savy college. Entire college has full greenery. Environment around the campus is too good. Join only for placements.
Best college under VTU, stands among top 5 colleges in Karnataka. It has the biggest campus, much of study oriented rather than cultural and co-curricular. Known for placements. Hostels- Average. Worst campus selection for mechanical and civil engineering students. In terms of placement, definitely THE BEST College in Bangalore, and possibly the best in Karnataka as well. Maybe second only to NITK. Prof S.H. Khan (T&P Offr., Sir. MVIT) is one of the best people in the world, being able to bring ...
Sir MVIT for CSE is too good. Placement record is good, faculty members are good. Overall it’s pretty appropriate for an engineering aspirant. If you are interested in programming research they will provide you with platform but you should be more self-driven. I would like to recommend this college for pursuing graduation in CS and IS depts.
Very good college in terms of placements. Around 100 companies visit campus every year for placements with salary packages offering from 3.5-12 LPA. Good environment and it does not charge extra money like other colleges, campus life is great. It has got very big grounds for cricket and football. Faculty members are good.
Classes at Sir. MVIT are interactive with a mix of lectures, case studies and presentations. Internal and external exams get equal weight-age. Placement record and college infrastructure is incredible. Hostel infrastructure should be improved. Faculty members and HOD's of all the departments are well qualified.
SMVIT is a well-known college in Bangalore and also in whole of Karnataka. It is one of the top most college under VTU, which has a pretty much good reputation as a university. I would not suggest others to take up this college because the placement is really not good when it comes to core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical. Even the labs have old machines and the readings during the survey and projects comes up to faulty numbers. Faculty was really good for my department but recentl...
Faculty: Faculty is good as most of them are highly experienced. Placement: Placements are the main USP of this college. One of the highest number of placements are done in our college in Bangalore. Campus: It is a huge campus. Lots of trees but it needs some management. Far from the city, so there are connectivity problems. You can plan only in weekends if you want to hang out in the city. A road separates the college in two section. There is a boundary wall now which increases the security. Th...
This is the place where I found real heaven. It has a good infrastructure in fact, even faculties are good enough to train students in such a way that they all get placed in good Multi nationals companies. I whole heatedly thank each and every teachers, students and supporting staff for their support for the entire engineering journey.
The college is spread over 130 acres of land with ample greenery. The department has experienced faculty and a very active training and placement cell. The college is known for its par excellence study environment and is one of the top engineering colleges of Karnataka. The college has seen a record year in terms of placements with more than 35 companies and more than 800 offers. Tata consultancy services and Accenture made 242 and 270 offers respectively which speaks volumes. .
