The placements and the infrastructure of the college are good.

Placements: The placements offered are good concerning the field you choose. I am a civil engineering student, and the placement cell of my college didn't help me much. I got offered IT jobs which were not useful to me, and no core companies came to our campus for placements. The placements are good if you are going for CS, IS or any other IT branch.

Good placements, average faculty, and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are very good for CSE and ISE branch, and okay for ECE branch. The placements are below average for EEE and mechanical students. Many good companies visit every year. Very few core companies visit the college. Altogether, 65% of the batch gets placed. In my batch, the highest salary offered by HPE. The average salary was in the range of 3.2-3.5 LPA.

Good placements and not that good faculty and crowd.

Placements: The placements are quite good in our college, every year 80 to 85% of the students get placements and last year the placement percentage was almost 90%. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA And the lowest package was nearly 2 LPA. The companies like TCS, WIPRO and ACCENTURE visit our campus for placements. Our college does not provide internships, we should find and get an internship on our own. There is a placement cell, and I have not seen the placement cell usage because am still a...

A review on Visvesvaraya Technical University.

Placements: I got placed in SolCen Technologies Bangalore. The placements in the college are good. The package ranges from 1.5lac per annum to 15lacs per annum. Most of the students from CS and IS will be placed. Even the internship opportunities are pretty good. The placement officer Mr Khan is very friendly and has lots of contacts. All thanks to him that the placements are very good compared to other colleges.

Sir MVIT is better than many colleges in Karnataka but doesn't stand anywhere at national level.

Placements: The placements offered are good for all the branches except civil engineering. Almost 80-85% of the eligible students in my senior batch were placed. The highest package offered by Amazon (15 lakhs per annum), Thorough good (11 lakhs per annum) the minimum package was offered around 2.5 lakhs per annum (Microland). The companies visited are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, Kirusa, Endurance International, MindTree, Robert Bosch, Mu Sigma and CGI. Almost 40 companies visited the campus. Roles offe...

My experience at Sir MVIT.

Placements: Placements for the 2018 batch have been going on since October. However, only the computer science students have been provided with offers over 6 LPA while the others have been provided with offers averaging at 3 LPA. The highest offer was by Media dot net of 30 LPA while the lowest was 2.5 LPA by Accenture.

Dissatisfied with the faculty and good placements in 2014,2015.

Placements: The placements offered in our college are usually what keeps everyone hopeful since this is what matters to most in the end. The placement drive is still on for us, with the highest package offered to be Rs. 29 LPA by Media net and the lowest being Rs. 2.25 LPA by Adventure which incidentally is the highest recruiter as of now, with 122 offers. The placements are best for Computer Science.

The college is not good for a person with high goals; you will just pass time in this college

Placements: The college is not good for placements. The average package is 3.5 lacs. This college is not so good for placement. One should not join this college for placements. Placements are going down every year- they are almost nil. The highest placement in the year 2017 is 8 lacs. Earlier, my seniors had nice placements and the average was around 4-5 lacs. But the current scenario is totally different.

I strongly recommend to not select this institute for EE, CV and ME. No placements.

Placements: The best and 100% placements are for only IT Students. The salaries offered are from 14 lakhs per annum to 10 thousand per month. Students are only offered information technology jobs, other than IT, only 2-8% for other branches. You cannot get a job in core companies as a mechanical engineer or a civil engineer.

A mediocre college with decent infra, faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements are decent. An average of 10-15 companies visit every year, most of them are software and services companies. 300 students are placed every year. Roles would most likely be of technical support and very less of developing. The internship is not quite encouraging in the institute. The average salary would be 3 LPA - 5 LPA.

Good for engineering folks and strictly no for MCA.

Placements: Placements are done only with words by our placement officer. There is no such thing as a placement drive for MCA in MVIT. So, the people joining MCA in MVIT don't even have hopes of getting placed. There is no core company which is exclusive for MCA.

Sir MVIT college review of a student currently studying there.

Placements: There were very few placements for MCA students whereas the other departments were getting quite a few every month. Just 4-5 students of my batch are placed. The average salary offered by those who had come was also very less. In short, it was pathetic.

Really good college but don't join for MCA course.

Placements: If a student has 60+ throughout there will be a lot of opportunities otherwise very fewer job offers are there. The packages can be between 3-16 lakhs per annum. Various companies visit for internships. Most of the students of our batch are not placed because we do not have 60+ throughout.

Managing to stay in the top only because of the placement dept., else pathetic.

Placements: This is the sole reason why MVIT is still considered a good option. Mr. Khan is the reason for this. You can be assured of a job when you walk out from this college. But don't get carried away. Core jobs are few and these jobs pay less and take only a few bright students. There are plenty of opportunities in the IT sector if you have basic knowledge of computer languages. The highest package can go up to 15 LPA. But barely one or two or none get it. You can obtain an IT job in the range of 7 t...

Overall, a good college to join.

Placements: The college has very bad placements. Only a few companies offer good packages. No companies will visit during the 8th semester. About 90% placement take place during the 7th semester. 90% companies are IT related and no core branch related companies visit for placement. The college does not have any agreement with the mass recruiter companies.

Review of MVIT- Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology.

Placements: I am graduated in the year 2019 from this college. Around 80% of students in our course got placements. But most of them got placed in the IT field, and only a few around 10-15 students got placed in core companies. Do not just rely on the college placements, and you can also opt for off-campus placements. The average salary package offered in our course is 3.5 LPA. Core companies like KPIT, L&T, Continental AG, and Robert Bosch visited our college for placements.

Does not justify its ranking in any way.

Placements: Placements are good in my college in terms of the number of companies that visit the college. Almost 99% of the students were placed except for the students who did not meet the eligibility criteria. Though there will be a lot of software companies coming, you cannot see many core companies coming, which is a big turn-off for core branches. The highest salary offered was 16 lakhs per annum by Amazon and the lowest was 3 lakhs per annum. The average salary offered was around 4 lakhs. Amazon, Bosc...

IT branch is good. But the non-IT branch is bad even non-IT also get placed in IT Company only non-core company visits this college. So, if you are planning to study IT branch then no doubts you can take admission here but for non-IT think about placement and studies.

If you guys are interested, you can join. Campus 2/5. Crowd 2/5. Hostel 4/5. Mess 2/5. Out of the city campus.

It is one of the good colleges in Bangalore .It is better to describe college branch wise i.e.; Computer science, Information science, Telecommunication engineering, Electric engineering, Electrical and communication engineering and Mechanical engineering. For CS, IS, and telecom branch, placement is very good almost all the students get placed in IT company with average salary of 3-3.5lacs p.a. and some talented student who has good knowledge in coding gets the opportunities for top companies, ...
